The best sandwiches in the SGV! Capri Deli has excellent hot and cold sandwiches. On this visit sandwiches were our choice but they also have pizza, pastas, salads which are all very good.Capri Deli is always busy but the folks behind the counter do a great job filling orders and moving the line. There are products you can also pick up for that Italian dinner you're making at home. Don't forget those tasty cookies. The dining room is always clean with numerous tables inside and a few outside as well. And there is also plenty of parking. Give Capri Deli a try for a delicious sandwich experience.

You can never go wrong! Best sandwich ever! Still same quality all these years! I've been eating here for a very long time.

Sandwiches and pasta i tried something new normally the turkey today we tried the roast beef dip, as you can see, they do not skimp on the beef. This is loaded with roast beef the bread, super soft and fresh and the roast beef has a great flavor and they give you the broth for dipping. Macaroni salad is not your typical mayonnaise different flavor, but it is very good. Family owned business lots of memorabilia when you come in everyone that works here is super friendly and very helpful..

Oh man, I wanted to share this with my wife but she doesn't like Rye :(

We were up in Azusa and looking to have lunch so someone suggested Capri. I had heard about this place in the past. My wife and I had already talked about sharing, possibly the roast beef or grinder. When I got there, I noticed that they had a Corned beef on Rye, which I should have ordered but my wife doesn't like Rye so we didn't order it. I will definitely have to come back. Place is bigger than I thought and they have lots of other options. They had lasagna's that you can put into the oven. They had plenty of salads. I had the small macaroni salad. It wasn't bad but I prefer a lot more mayo. Ended up ordering a large cold cut combo from which two of us ate and took some home. Service was great. The line was about 8 people deep but they were quick taking orders and brought the sandwiches to the tables.

Capri Deli is a staple in this area. I've been coming here since high school and it's always been a spot that will deliver a consistently good old school sandwich. I grabbed a large gabagool because I'm doing my yearly Soprano's rewatch, and it did not disappoint--freshest sandwich I've had since. It's a small family and close friend's restaurant, and you can feel that when you walk in. They can get really busy so that's something to keep in mind and reserve patience for, but it's always worth it.

Had a meatball sandwich on garlic bread. Wow! It's delicious every time I have it. And the root beer in an ice cold glass was amazing!

I love this spot! I even recommended Capri to Old World Deli customers on Yelp. During my visit today, I could not believe the portion of the roast beef sandwich which for 18.00 could easily feed 2 men. I also grabbed a pastrami to-go and was shocked at how small the sandwich was, but I have to say it was so tasty. The customer service was 5 star as the staff accommodated every request I made. I will definitely be back.

    Great Spot for some eats!

The Italian sub and barbecue sandwich's are what we purchased. The meat was plentiful on the Italian sub there was also plenty of lettuce and oil and vinegar. The BBQ sandwich was absolutely the bomb very flavorful. I would definitely order again. The service was order at the counter. The restaurant was clean and had a soda bar for the customers. Stop by and enjoy a sandwich, cookies, or spaghetti, and lasagna to name some of the menu ideas.

There's a little family owned and operated Italian deli in Covina. They have been here for 71 years. They don't need to advertise, word-of -mouth from their loyal customers keeps them going strong. They call their sandwiches "grinders." I ordered the Pastrami dip with a bow-tie pasta salad side. You will love the "classic" sodas better than the fountain drinks. You may find your old favorites not offered elsewhere. Menu Highlights - Hot sandwiches are Meatball or Sausage (or get both in one combo). Cold sandwiches are ham, turkey, roast beef, turkey- pastrami, and Italian cold cut (coppocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, salami). Entrees: Lasagna, Spaghetti, Manicotti, Ravioli (served with a side salad and garlic bread). Dine in, take out, or delivery is available. Enjoy and don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!

I have to apologize for the late post! This place is one of the BEST DELIs I have ever been! Pastrami & tall frosty Rootbeer OMGEEEE!!! If I could go there again I would order the same thing! The dessert was underwhelming (coconut cake) but my expectations were too high. There's a reason these folks have been in business many years, it's like family dropping by- that's the way I felt. Thank you Capri Deli!

Never disapoints! Locals favorite.. Everything is good here at a reasonable price. Pasta, hot or cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, and hard to get sodas and flavored milk as well as beer and wine. Pastrami, beef dips, and cold cuts are always popular. Very relaxed atmosphere dine in or pick up, there is also a couple outdoor tables.

Well, okay. We were there and we were hungry. It's a small place with big attitude. Great vibes, low lighting, cozy seating. We sat down and browsed through the menu. The server came over and said he'd move us to a bigger table. THANK YOU! We finally decided on food. We all had crab cakes appetizers. I had the spicy honey pepperoni pizza and Cesar salad. Coworker had the peso buco with risotto, and the other had the lasagna. We had some fresh rosemary rolls while we waited. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The girls decided to have desert which we all shared. Tiramisu and cannolis. I don't care for tiramisu so I just had a little taste. I did enjoy a cannoli. The server was super friendly and he knew how to sell you on anything on that menu. I would make the drive to visit here again.

Dear yelp friends:…read more Please read my previous reviews and you'll get the skinny on Aldolinos. The food, ambiance, and service have been consistent over the last dozen years or so I've been frequenting. Although they don't have a Sunday brunch anymore, the full bar is amazing and gives the restaurant a refined, sophisticated, quality. While some Italian restaurants are as cheesy as garlic bread, Aldolinos is classy, not trashy. In the corner of the Oak Tree shopping center, you might not think to stop by, but that would be a mistake. Daily specials; happy hour appetizers & libations; consistent food and service make this an easy choice for me in the Azusa area. I have a secret, but it's just between you and me: They have a party trailer to take to events (I'm going to hire them for my next 40th birthday party)!

We were very happy with our first visit to Aldolino Italian Restaurant…read more It's in a very unassuming mini mall, but once you step in, the dining room is very nicely organized, particularly for a small place. I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!
