The food is good but the prices are high. In 2019 a cheese steak was $8.00, in Jan 2022 a cheese steak was $9.99 on 7-23-22 it cost 10.99 on yelp today 7/23/22 it cost $12.99 . It also cost extra for onions and hot peppers. Some restaurants give you onion and peppers free on a cheese steak. I spent $31.70 for a cheesesteak , Cheesesteak hoagie and an order of fries. I didn't even get a pizza. The fries were $4.75 in Jan 2022 and $5.99 today. Fries went up higher that the sandwiches. Why? Potatoes don't cost that much. Get fries at another place.they were just ok here. Prices have gone up but this is ridiculous. I'll pass on going here. Sorry, it's convenient in the neighborhood but it's too high. It's worth the gas to go somewhere else. I must say they need to look at providing lunch specials, dinner special, combo sandwiches and fries specials. (They have combos for burgers) They should consider making 1/2 sandwiches or smaller sizes too. read more

We're visiting from the San Francisco Bay Area and were looking for a good quality pizza here in New Jersey. We've had great pizza both in the SF Bay Area and of course in Italy and south eastern France so Pizza Hut and the like won't do. Looking online we spotted Capri, saw the pictures and though why not try them. The prices looked very reasonable and after tasting the pizza, we came to the conclusion that it was worth every dollar we paid. Since we weren't going to eat the pizza until dinner time, they just lightly baked the pizza we ordered so when ready to eat, we just popped it into a 400 degree oven and about 15 minutes later had a perfectly cooked pizza. Crust and topping ratio was just right and the crust by the way was excellent, and not too thick around the edges. We had the sausage with broccoli rabe (white, no red sauce) and it was perfect! Capri is the perfect local pizza shop. I had searched and I mean SEARCHED for a decent pizza place when I moved to the area. I was so happy when Capri opened and I had my first slice. Antonio, Carol, Rafael, and Rosario (before Rosario open his own place) have always treated everyone that I've seen in this place like family. Pizza always good to insanely great. I'm a pizza snob too. These guys would kill in NYC. Great sandwiches with homemade ciabatta bread. Great portions. Great cheese steaks. Wings rock same for the garlic knots. It's always clean. We've had end of season soccer parties here last minute and they always come thru. It's my daughter's favorite place and even tho they don't do birthday parties they did one for her 4th. I checked here on Yelp and found good reviews on Capri which is literally 2 miles from me. I ordered a large well done crispy regular pizza for pickup. The guy behind the counter was very pleasant. I informed him this was my 1st time here and he said he hoped I like it. I opened the box before I left and it looked perfect. At home,the crust was thin and perfectly crispy around the edge. The sauce tasted home made, mild ,not salty and delicious. The amount of cheese was just right and perfectly distributed & melted. I would definitely not recommend this place. We had absolutely terrible service. We picked up our order, didn't Realise they were missing part of your order until we got back to our hotel. We didn't want to drive 50 minutes back to the pizza shop to get our order, so we asked for a refund. We were told this was not possible. They would only do a credit for our next visit! REALLY?? I tried explaining that we were on vacation and we are 50 minutes away. He said they could make us a new pizza and we could come get it but they could not issue a partial refund to my card.
