Working in the area for the past ten years, I had tried Ciconte's pizza slices before but never experienced their Chop Shop sandwich until now, and it immediately became one of my favorite sandwiches in the Marlton area. I ordered mine with extra bacon and hot peppers, and this is definitely going to be one of my go to lunch spots. Everything in the sandwich is cut into small bite sized pieces and mixed nicely together on crispy toasted seeded bread. It is satisfying without being overly messy, and every bite has a good mix of meat, peppers, and crunch. Other items, like the vodka parm panini, also look like they could be really good, so there is more on this menu I am planning to come back for. read more

Ciconte's is a solid choice for an Italian Pizzaria. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The owner is extremely hard working and takes the quality of the food and customer service extremely seriously The two soups they usually offer are Pasta Fasul and Chicken tortellini. Both are very tasty and not overly salty that we find in some other establishments. The eggplant parmigiana is delicious and a good portion size. It can easily be shared for two people. We have also tried the chicken cheese steak, the pizza and some pasta specials. Everything has been very good. Prices are reasonable. They also do catering orders. Ciconte's has become my go to spot for Italian American comfort food. Solid 4 to 4.5 stars. read more

The food has always been good here. A little pricey but solid. The pizza is still pretty good but the wings are definitely not the quality they used to be . I would specifically bring people here just for the wings . Also they did stop the 13 pizza coupons on-top of the box smh ( what am I suppose to do with my old coupons) . I started coming here more and I like their cheese steaks, calzones are awesome, and the jalapeño poppers are fantastic. Decent salads and pasta dishes. One of my favorite movies is COOL HAND LUKE Paul Newman is awesome in his performance ... one of my least favorite things is LUKE WARM soup. Now, I like Gazpacho but cool/cold is hot it is meant to be served however pasta fagioli should be on the edge of hot not the luke warm offering that the Route 70 Ciconte's put before me. Ok, so that's my eating gripe but just walking through the door our expectations were taken down a notch because we are used to the incredible full service dining experience that the Ciconte's of West Deptford offers a mere 15 minutes down the road. Some how we weren't ready for a step up the counter pizzeria and that dinner experience knocked down my rating. If you are looking for a pizza joint in all the simplicity of blandness where you can enjoy your pie then maybe this Ciconte's can nudge up a bit in the rating scale because the counter help was friendly (Not as incredibly friendly as the West Deptford location but still friendly and helpful.). Judging by the comings and goings while we ate dinner it is clear that this Ciconte's is quite popular with the pick-up and run pizza crowd. Two of our group went for the roasted egg plant pie and they were happy with it; very happy. Now, back to my gripes and comparisons. One of the things that makes "that other Ciconte's" so special is the bread basket offered every time you dine in. Delicious breads that cause the gluten avoiders to reach for the basket ... ROUTE 70 Ciconte's offers a roll with their dinners and the salad eaters at our table didn't even get that. CICONTE's if your name is on a place BE CONSISTENT! The counter staff were helpful and they steered me to a pizza turnover that was filling and yummy. They nodded approvingly when I decided to have the sauce/gravy (We all come from different food definers.) on the side rather than inside the turnover. They supplied a big bowl of the stuff and I left none behind. So, why did we choose this location instead of the aforementioned outstanding Cicontes? It comes down to an online coupon that I was quick to grab before noting it was only cashable at this location and I spent enough money that I will have to return to this location. Placed an order through Slice last night, ordered a salad with salmon added on. It arrives with chicken on the salad. We don't eat chicken, so we called the restaurant. No apology or anything, just told us they didn't have salmon so they subbed it for chicken. They did call us to ask if we want something different, though the salmon cost more than the chicken. Didn't offer to send out a new one, just was told to call Slice for a refund. read more

Not great, but not bad either - typical middle of the road SJ pizza joint. The pizza is ok, the lasagna was good, but not excellent, and for $16, it should be excellent. The veggie and escarole soup was my least favorite thing I tried - I typically like escarole and cannelloni beans, but this soup just didn't taste good at all, and I only ate a few bites of it. The salad was the best thing I had actually! I ordered the apple and goat cheese salad with grilled chicken, and if that's all I had eaten, I would have rated the restaurant a 4 or 4 1/2 instead of 3. The staff was nice enough, but with so many good pizza places around, even in the same town, I just don't think we will be back to Ciconte's. read more

I feel bad giving such a bad rating but I have to be honest. Pizza here is THE BEST I love it I'm obsessed with it and wouldn't look any further but I Cicontes when it comes to pizza. So 5 stars on pizza. But I got a salad.. and I couldn't even eat it. The salad itself was almost gritty, like in could feel it when I bit down that "sand in your mouth" feeling if you will. The lettuce (not all of it but enough to be fed up and grossed out) was red/brown/old disgusting. I'm just not sure who really feels confident enough to put this salad together and serve it. It's embarrassing and looks bad. If I was the owner I would be very unhappy that someone in my kitchen thought this was an acceptable salad. No salad from here every again BUT I will always be back for the pizza. read more

This is a nice little South Jersey pizza joint that has been around for years. They have several different locations, but I've only been to the Marlton location. It's convenient for me because it's literally in my backyard, I can walk there! They offer online ordering which I prefer, because it's easier to make your modifications and specifications. They also provide you with a real time update of the status of your order which is neat. The food is good and they always get my order right. They recently just renovated the restaurant and it is rustic themed- very cute and cozy! My biggest problem is that they are overpriced and charge the hell out of you for extra toppings. However, the quality of food and service is always consistent and I will keep coming back. read more

Lived here 40 yrs ago, just came back to visit. Decided to try Ciconte's with my older granddaughter, and are we glad we did. Super friendly people, great service...order at the counter and sit down in a booth, and very clean and welcoming. The owner knew everyone who came in to pick up their take-out by first name, which is a good sign to me that he is part of the everyday business. Food was SUPER. Well I was eating a piece of their white pizza i had ordered when I bit into to something extremely hard. Low and behold I pull out this small metal piece that looks like the cap of some appliance. This was in my pizza. I know it couldn't have been intentional but that's all i need. I will never eat from this place again. Do not order from here. They will throw metal in your food. I'm not one to complain in reviews because I like to be positive. I was very disappointed with our order. I love love love cheese but the cheese on this pizza killed it for me. Not sure what exactly I didn't like about it but it didn't do it for me. (And there's only been 1 other cheese in my life I didn't like, Cheese is a food group to me.) Crust was good though. Mozzarella sticks weren't bad but my husband who usually inhales them left a couple. Over all I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the girl who took the order and delivery driver were very nice! I always base my rating on taste and services. Had my first pizza in a long time, never knew I would taste cardboard. I thought I was eating the box for the moment after having to chew it/rip it apart like a lion eating thru a buffalo skin. I felt like I wasted money on this, if I wanted to eat paper I would go to staple and bring ketchup with me for cheaper. I would gave them 1 star but two was for making me taste the box instead to see the differences. I ordered mozzarella cheese fries and wings. The fries were glued to a piece of tinfoil with the mozzarella cheese. I ordered the mild wings. I know some may like a sweet sauce. I am not one of those people . It did not taste like a conventional mild wing sauce in my opinion and was too sweet. They were atleast edible since the fries needed a chisel to get them off the tinfoil. As much as I would like to support a local spot, I can't with this meal. read more

Great cheese pizza. Good crust and flavor. Honey barbeque wings are large and very tasty.  Daughter loves the Panzarotti. I usually order takeout which is always ready when I arrive. Update - Our family has been ordering more frequently as we love the plain cheese pizza. Full of flavor. Internet ordering is easy and convenient. Not as close as some other Italian takeout, but worth the few extra minutes. I order the wings each time. Always good. The local Planet Fitness orders their pizza once as month as benefit for members. As soon as it arrives, members line up for a slice! read more

Well that's it for me. Got wings and they were waaay overcooked and dry. Some parts so dry it was like jerky. Not juicy at all. The meat should be fall off the bone tender not stuck to the bone defying gravity. They also raised the prices $6 more for a 50 pack. I have a big family so that's what we would always get. Not anymore not for that price. It's a shame too because the wing sauce is awesome, but I'm going to stick to doing them at home from now on. read more

I wrote my original review and was not so pleased. The district manager reached out to me and asked for a second chance. I obliged and he gave us dinner on him last night. We got a large ham pie, 20 wings and a sandwich. The pizza had a different type of ham on it than it did during my original review, but it tasted like the first time I got it. Super yummy. The wings were very saucy which I like, sweet but tangy. The sandwich was a grilled chicken with a sweet mustard cheese and I'm assuming broccoli raub. Delicious this place redeemed themselves, but the true test will be the next time I order. Will it go back to being crap BC they know its not someone who was getting a replacement meal, or will it be good and they'll prove it was a fluke that ingot bad food?? read more

This was by far the worse food I have ever eaten, I would have done better eaten something from a gas station. Normally I pay $5 toll and drive to South Philly when I want takeout food. I do however order from here occasionally when I don't feel like driving over to Philly. I ordered a cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak and a order of fries. I placed my delivery order at 6:45 and it came at 7:45 it was an hour wait but understand . When I received my food I couldn't believe how cold it was especially because my house is a 6 minute drive from this place. The cold food didn't stop there when my wife took a bite of her cheesesteak she didn't say anything she started cutting it up ( she is going through chemo so I thought she couldn't eat it because of chemo) and that's when I started to eat my chicken cheesesteak I took 2 bites and said I can't eat this. It was not only cold it was chewy and just thrown together. It tasted like it was an order that sat all day. I really couldn't believe just how nasty it was. My wife was chopping hers all up to give to one of our dogs and she wouldn't even it eat and she normally eats anything. We both said well at least we have fries well they were more like ice cubes (cold and hard). I paid $40 for two sandwiches and a order of fries. That $40 order now turned into a $65 order because I'm now driving to Philly had to pay $5 toll and my food came to $20 so total is $65 not counting gas and $5 tip for the cook. I will never ever order from here again. Their overpriced slop I wouldn't take for free. I'm more baffled about how cold the food was I have driven to further distances and the food was still hot when I got it home. The food is usually hit or miss but somewhat eatable tonight was not the case I am very disappointed. read more
