My wife's favorite pizza from our trip. Second place for me.

Staff is nice and prices are fair. We only got a pizza that was recommended to us by the staff (no meat). It was my second favorite pizza on this trip but my wife's number 1. What made this pizza was the olive oil which made the pizza a bit messy but worth it.

Came here for the first time after a long boat cruise here. The service was good as the welcome back to her table. The food was fresh and delicious. The customer service is very attentive. The environment was amazing looking over to the Amalfi coast. I come back to Italy. I'm definitely coming back to this restaurant.

We needed a quick snack in Positano, and this hit the spot. The pizza is really good! The service isn't that great. They did not want people to sit down and just order drinks because they insisted they needed the tables for the lunch crowd. It wasn't a problem for us though.

Positano is definitely one of those towns I wish I had more time to spend in. We spent an afternoon cruising down the Amalfi Coast making a pit stop in Positano. Our guide gave us about 90 minutes to explore and told us "make sure you get something to eat!" We used our time to walk down to the water, wander in a couple shops and sit down for lunch at Capricci. The gal behind the counter was less than amused by us Americani as we tried to pronounce menu items but we made it though... ordering up a Positano Pie (mozzarella, cherry tomato, ham and zucchini) (€6.50) and an order of meatballs/sauce (€7.50). + a couple drinks - the entire meal was less than 20 euros. Both dishes were fantastic. Thin crust pizza with all those fresh ingredients - how can you go wrong there!? The meatballs were huge, and so flavorful, I think there were 3 in the order. I long to go back to Positano... if it ever happens I'll totally go back to Capricci. Lots of different pizzas and paninos to try. And I've been working on my pronunciations - I think the Capricci staffer would be impressed with my efforts.

We just spent a day on the beach and wanted a quick bite to each. Saw a bunch of people sitting on the side of the stairs leading up the hill and saw that they also served smoothies so we sat down and ate here. The pizza was soggy and they used canned Mushrooms and small pieces of proscuitto - the crust wasn't even good. Probably one of the worse places I've had pizza in Italy. They serve smoothies though so it was nice after a day on the beach.

Good food, awful service and organization. Came here twice while in the area and the first time the food was delicious and service was ok since it wasn't so busy. The second time was just puzzling and a nuisance. I originally came and it was busy, and I asked the host if there was a list I could put my name on, and if it was just better to wait there or return. The host said that they don't do lists, and that it was up to me on whether I wait or return. I told him I'd return, and when I came back I waited in what was a line in front of the host's station. Not only did the host and numerous waiters acknowledge me standing right in front of the station, but even smiled. After maybe 20 minutes of waiting, the owner came by and I asked what was going on, and he said they were no longer seating people (even though there were various empty tables). The food may be good, but when the owner acknowledges you multiple times while you obviously wait for a table without mentioning that they're no longer seating, that's just ridiculous. If you're in the area and it isn't busy, I'd recommend the place. If it looks even slightly busy, I'd skip it entirely, because they clearly aren't organized enough to deal with a high volume of people.

Service was great. Our waiter was very friendly and seemed like a funny character. We selected a fish from their catch of the day platter. It was $48 euro and they grilled it. Potatoes were extra. Everything had a fishy taste so I didn't like our meal too much. Ambiance was fine. It was a cool but sunny day and quite enjoyable aside from the smoker next to us.

Stomach growling as I was walking down Viale Pasitea (the main thoroughfare in town), multiple good options caught my eye. After some Gmaps searching (sorry Yelp, again limited and some outdated data in Europe!) their beautiful IG-able interior + stellar reviews cinched the decision for me. It's both a restaurant and retail store--the latter carries local ceramics, kitchenware and home decor, many with botanical designs--capturing that quintessential coastal vibe--colors back to white. The former takes up the remaining three-quarters of the white-washed space with about two dozen tables seating about 40-50 people. Live vines hang from parts of the ceiling, pendant lighting fixtures printed with leaf patterns echo the botanical theme from the retail displays. The aesthetic rounds out with tiled floors, light wood furniture, and pillowed banquette seating mixed with individual tables, tying in designs from the home goods store. Food is new Italian--they do carry some traditional dishes though they also have a modern Mediterranean section of the menu that adds non-traditional ingredients or techniques. They also serve a variety of cocktails, fresh-squeezed or blended juices and smoothies, and coffee drinks. Lunch with an entree and drink will run you about €35-40, which is on the higher side though par for the course compared to other similar restaurants along the Amalfi Coast. I ordered the traditional fagioli cannellini, scarola, capperi, olive e calamari gratinati €26 (cannellini beans, escarole, capers, olives and gratinated calamari). This was creamy and tasty even though it had no cheese or cream, the calamari was cooked well, just tender enough, and coated with light breadcrumbs, which I appreciated as it was baked and not deep-fried. Having minimal familiarity with dish, I can only say I thought it was outstanding, good textural contrast, not too salty. Staff was the right amount of attentive without being overbearing, and though their English was limited, they strove to answer my questions on ingredients in a few of the dishes. The restaurant was pretty busy during lunch, but I never felt rushed. Loved the atmosphere and food here, would certainly recommend!

Praise for their delicious melon sorbet made with real melon!…read more After lunch I was craving a little something sweet and Collina looked swarming with customers on a warm spring afternoon, so I peeked in. The cafe is very small, with a counter inside the left entrance for gelato and sorbetto, a larger counter and display case of pastries along the wall inside the right entrance. Seems to be a handful of seats upstairs accessible by a narrow staircase though they looked to be cordoned off that moment. Gelato prices ranged from €3 for a small, single flavor to €5 for medium, €8 for large, €12 for maxi which I'm not quite sure how many scoops that was. The prices were the most reasonable that I saw along the Amalfi Coast in a few towns. After checking out the flavor selection I decided to go with a light sorbetto in melon and it was yummy! It tasted like if really ripe cantaloupe were made into a super smooth smoothie lol. They carried the popular sorbetto al limone (lemon sorbet in a lemon) for €10 too, though in general I heard mixed reviews about this item being overpriced. They offer a bunch of lunch-suitable menu items like simple paninis, pasta, salads and burgers; also some cocktails for €12-13-including an enticing Positano Spritz concocted of prosecco, limoncello, soda, fresh lemon zest. Pastries looked good too though the weather was a little warm for more sweets--their tiramisu cups, cookies, mini tarts and eclairs all looked like solid choices if you're in the mood.

It was pricey at €10, but the sorbet was refreshing and nice on a hot day. They also have a good selection of regular gelato, pastries and drinks too if you want something more reasonable.
