We LOVE Capriccio! The pizza and pasta is absolutely delicious. The Margherita pizza is my fav. You can't go wrong with any of their pastas: chicken capriccio, shrimp scampi, shrimp fravdiavola are some of my top pics. Their homemade Italian bread is delicious and so are their salads/soups. Great place for takeout and ordering delivery. Not a huge place to have a big dinner party, but it is a perfect place for a couple or small family as far as dine-in. read more

HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE I have never experienced a situation such as I did yesterday, while trying to celebrate Fathers day with my Dad. What I ordered off the menu was completely different than what was delivered to my table. I let the waitress "Jillianne" know that this was the wrong meal. She argued with me and said well that is how we do it here. She proceeded to be argumentative with me until I got up to see the owner. I asked the owner for the meal I ordered from the menu. After returning to my table Jillianne came back up to the table to take my plate back with an attitude and again argued with me and said whatever and walked away. While she was at the waitress stand she proceeded to yell to other the girls about her aggravation with me for all customers to hear. After about 2 minutes another waitress "did not get her name" decided to start arguing with me about the situation. About 20 minutes later I received what should've been the correct meal. This meal consisted of 4 diced tomatoes, no garlic, and a plate full of pasta water thrown on my plate. This food and the service is HORRENDOUS!!! From one Italian to another this food is a disgrace to real Italian food and your servers have cost you at least 15 more customers not to return. read more

Okay this place has great Italian food BUT no one washes their hands. The owner (usually the cashier) will take your money or swipe your card then turn around and start rolling bread. The tall slim guy will answer the phone, wipe his hands on his apron, then turn around and put pepperoni on a pizza. No gloves. No handwashing. I've literally watched to see if anyone would wash their hands or put on gloves and it never happens. I like the food but my goodness smh. read more

My favorite restaurant. Pizzas are outstanding as are the pasta dishes. My biggest problem with this restaurant is trying to decide what to eat. I have about 6 favorites. Be prepared for leftovers. You can get about 3 meals from the large calzone. Don't order the garlic bread or butter knots unless you love garlic. (Which I do) Both are delicious and garlicky. I also like that you get to choose your pasta. I highly recommend you try Capriccio. read more

We found this place when looking for good Italian near our house. We had been meaning to go before the shutdown happened but hadn't had the chance. So, we tried them togo (3x now) and we have not been disappointed! We have gotten a pizza (mushroom & meatball) and we have gotten the chicken parm & meatballs subs! Both subs are amazing, stuffed full of meats and cheese! And the best part is that their meatballs are all beef! That is a huge deal for me. If possible order one of each of the subs we have tried and split with a friend or partner. It is the best of both worlds! We have also tried the garlic knots and the garlic bread, both are an insane deal for what you get and delicious! I am going to try a calzone next, the next really good! I've seen reviews for the place on Yelp but never really knew exactly where it was until I recently attended a shower not far from this shopping center and decided to stop by before jumping back on the highway. We looked over the menu and finally decided to just order a small cheese pizza to go. The restaurant has a good amount of seating but it really isn't that big inside. The menu has, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, salads, and gelato. The pizza was just ok and either the sauce or cheese seemed to have elevated sodium levels and was really a disappointment because who wants to eat salty pizza? I doubt I will return since I'm never in this neck of the woods anyway. read more

This is probably my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. I have never had anything disappointing while eating here. From appetizers to pizza to pasta, everything has been great. This is actually my favorite place in the area for calamari as well. It's light and tastes great when you squeeze the lemon that comes with it overtop. That really makes the flavor pop. The servers are very friendly and accommodating here, and the place is cute. However, if you come here on a Friday night (and I would imagine the weekend,) there will be a line snaking all around the inside of the building and likely out the door for people coming to pick up pizza. Yes, it's that good. The only issue with that is that the noise level is much higher and if it's cold outside, you're getting hit with a cold breeze every time the door opens since the place isn't that big. It's also not in Charlotte in the way you may think, so don't feel the need to prepare yourself for Uptown or Noda. This is more Harrisburg-adjacent, but with actual flavor. read more

Love capriccios, but tonight's experience was bad. We ordered delivery for the first time and it was a bad decision. Grubhub, used by, Capriccios, took an 1 hour 15 minutes longer than the initial estimate. Watching them on the map they went about 25-30 minutes south before coming to our house with our food. Our food was cold and most of the sauce (Marsala) was spilled out of the food container. Next time we will order for pickup. read more

(I can't find my photos at the moment, but will update when I do.) I LOVE this restaurant. I'm a Sicilian/Italian-American and my father is a Chef... so I grew up on Authentic Italian Food. I have only had about 4 things on the menu (I always stick to my chxn caesar salad and margherita pizza) but it has been delicious and my family and friends always enjoy their dishes as well. I used to love this place, I was so happy to have decent pizza and pasta near me Unfortunately their food has been falling hard over the years I get chicken parm with meat sauce It's over $20 Unfortunately the chicken is one piece of leather and is not edible I'm giving two stars because the pasta was OK and meat sauce was pretty good but I'm really disappointed that I just spent $20 for a little bit of pasta. I enjoy their tiramisu but they really got up go back to the drawing board. the chicken is thin, and therefore should be cooked for a very short time ... Unfortunately that's just not how it works. I'm assuming they cook and cook and cook this chicken and probably leave it sitting out for a period of time before warming it up for somebody who orders the chicken Parmesan I hope they do better, because I really do like the restaurant, but if the food doesn't start getting better unfortunately I won't be able to be a customer anymore read more

Ordered a Sicilian pizza online. Their website advertised a round thin crust with pepperoni on it. I was sent a square thick crust cheese pizza. I called and told them I was sent the wrong pizza and was told it was right and I had to order pepperoni extra. That's not what was advertised. The pizza was disgusting I couldn't eat it. We LOVE this place! Been coming for takeout for over 11 years now... and never had a bad dish or a bad thing to say, ever. The worst thing that has ever happened is that they were busy and the line was long... and I know what that means, we're spending our money at the right place! Their food has always been worth the wait. The owner sent us home with a special cake for my mother in law one holiday because he remembered a conversation we had while I was there. It doesn't get much better than that. We're so happy this gem is in Our neighborhood!! Our fave dishes include: baked ziti, chicken parm, any of their pizzas (low cal is mine, my husbands is mushroom/meatball), mussels app, capriccio, ravioli, their bolognese sauce is yummy... I'm sure I have forgotten some, but I've never had a dish that I was sad about, ever. This is our comfort food go-to and a place we know will make us happy n satisfied. No glitz n glam just delicious food and great people. We're so glad we have this family run business near us and we will always keep coming back for more Italian takeout nights!! read more

Please fix take out issue. 30 plus people waiting to pick up. People standing in line thru front doors and into traffic. Call out orders when they are ready. By the time I got to front of wait line, my pizza was cold. Take out line in entry blocks dine in customers from getting out and those leaving with takeout. My first bad experience so I look forward to seeing it fixed next trip. read more

Pretty disappointed. My pasta dish was $14 and I could've done it better with $2 myself at home. Much better. It was mostly oil and grease. I feel a little sick after eating it. Won't be coming back. Although their pizza looked decent I should've gone for that instead. read more

I am deeply disappointed. It was my nephew's 19th birthday and I decided to give Capriccio's a chance since he loves pizza. It took over an hour to receive the order and once received through Uber Eats, the Pizza (out of all things) was missing. The seafood salad is disgusting and all of the food was cold and flavorless (how do you have disgusting garlic bread?). To be honest, maybe the pizza being missing was a blessing in disguise. I ended up order the pizza from Giacomo's which was good. This restaurant is definitely going on my shi* list! read more

WE WENT HERE A LOT BEFORE COVID, BUT THIS WILL BE OUR LAST TIME EVER GOING HERE!!! We walk in and there was only two table occupied. When we arrived, a table with one person and a table with two people. We sit down and the waitress comes over and took our order. It took 15 minutes just for our sweet teas to arrive. Luckily the salads came out quickly. 30 minutes after our food came out. The waitress apologized about the wait and said that they were slammed with orders and were trying to get through all of the to-go orders before taking care of the dining room. After the meal, our bill came and we got a suprise $2.13 cent costumer service fee and we asked and she said that was because we used a credit card. No signage on the door or in the restaurant indicating that. I believe that is against there card agreement. We usually leave a generous tip and we did this time, but we do not agree with this and will not return. (especially with a $60 dollar purchase) read more

The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

I love cappreccio's but more importantly can't stand a reviewer like candi w., she would give zero stars to the restaurant but still gets take-out from there?????? Really!!!! If it deserves a zero in your eyes than go somewhere else and shut your annoying mouth!!!!! You live in Harrisburg I am sure you have several dime-a-dozen chain restaurants that would be more than happy to even deliver to your "southern living" quality home with impeccable ambiance and worldly style so you can keep your miserable self securely at home out of harms way. My husband and I recently visited this pizza spot, and I was amazed at how the pizza transported me back to the authentic taste of New York-style pizza. The cheese was exceptionally flavorful, and the balance of sauce was just perfect. We also tried the chicken and shrimp piaccota special, a delightful off-menu item they happily prepared for us. The shrimp were large and succulent, and although the chicken was a bit thin, we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially paired with the delicious sauce. Delicious, Daughter ordered lasagna. She didn't eat her caesar salad so I did- it was amazing. Next time I might ask for extra cheese but the croutons and dressing were amazing Only gave it a four star because most of her lasagna fell out into the bag before we arrived home. I wondered if the aluminum container was sealed well. She sloped the bread because it was covered in sauce. We will check the container next time.
