Medium Wagyu Beef with Cap Fries.
    Larry G.

This was our first visit here, as it had been totally packed since the grand opening. There were only a few take-out customers so we dined alone. The restaurant was very clean and spread out nicely. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I ordered the Wagyu Beef Sandwich with Cap Fries. Perhaps Naked fries no goodies on top. The fries were served hot and crispy with a delicious seasoning. The Wagyu Beef Sandwich was a good choice. It came with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Also drizzled with an Italian dressing. The beef was high quality and had generous portions. The down side is they charge extra for ranch dressing with your fries. It was definitely worth it. I will try their famous pulled turkey on my next visit. $$

We were one of the first few customers served on opening day. There were a lot of people in line and I was surprised at how efficient they handled business. Staff was very approachable and friendly. They did make it clear that they are learning the computer system (like rewards) etc, but they were honestly so quick with no hiccups. I ordered the classic medium sub with no bacon. Delicious!! Husband had a tuna sandwich. I had the opportunity to try his as well and it was just as good. The bread was soft and the ingredients were fresh. This location also has naked/loaded fries. I can't wait to try those!! As far as the establishment, it's in a great location with lots of parking. The inside is brightly lit and very clean with plenty of seating.

I'm so glad there's finally a Capriotti's in Sparks! Everytime I crave their pastrami I get so discouraged because I'd have to drive in to town! Honestly I didn't even realize it was opening day. I've just been casually driving by every so often to see its progress and today happened to be the day! I wish there was more marketing for the establishment. (At first I had no idea the joint was coming to sparks until I was looking at maps and saw an icon for it). Staff members were super friendly and extremely accommodating. My partner and I ordered the classic cheesesteak, capastrami, and the chopped salad. Their menu offers a create your own meal deal for $9.99; that has the option to choose a mini sub and side. At first I was discouraged because the other locations in town show that any sub is applicable for the deal-- but the menu at this location only displays four options. After asking, I learned that there is a $2 up-charge to choose any sub. I don't mind paying extra, but for customers who don't ask, won't know that substitutions are possible for the deal. Overall, there hasn't been a food spot join the sparks area that I've been excited about in a while-- so I'm especially happy about this one! Also, special shout out to their bathroom signs. It's inclusive and funny all in one.

Capriotti's was established in 1976 and voted Greatest Sandwich Shop in 2009, really ? First off, let me begin by saying that I rarely eat out at chains or fast food restaurants simply because I am known for patronizing locally owned independent businesses. And my experience dining at Capriotti's cemented this for me. I'm not saying this was a horrible experience, but it wasn't anywhere I would recommend or return to either. This location opened rather recently as of this review located next to a US Bank branch with limited parking off of Los Altos Pkwy. My friend and I arrived around 11:30 and the restaurant wasn't super busy. As we were looking at the menu we were told that anything grilled that the expected wait time would be 20 minutes which was fine as I prefer a warm sandwich rather than a cold generally soggy one. My friend ordered the Classic Italian made with salami, capicola, prosciutto, provolone, lettuce, onion and tomato. Funny thing is that my friend's sandwich was not a grilled sandwich and it took as long as my grilled sandwich. My order was the Chicken Cheesesteak. Supposedly including grilled mushrooms and onions and melted Provolone cheese. Additionally I ordered the regular Cheesesteak fries with grilled steak, white American cheese, mushrooms, onions and sweet peppers. We found a seat and grabbed a soda and waited for our order, I will say they had a descent soda selection, one I really liked a vanilla flavor I liked a lot. So, something about the way the orders are served, not on tray but in a giant paper bag. My friend ordered a half a sandwich and that came in a GIANT paper bag ! I ordered a medium sandwich and the Cheesesteak fries and mine came out as two separate articles, it made no sense. Both wrapped in huge amounts of butcher paper. ( Lots of waste here. ) As for the sandwiches, mine was generously filled with chicken but couldn't really detect the mushrooms or onions. My friend's Italian was minuscule, looking to be about two inches thick. The Cheesesteak fries were pretty good, crispy but overly salty. Another complaint is that as your order is ready they call your name, actually they yell out your name. Very inefficient way too, a microphone would be a better more proper way of implementing this system. So in conclusion, as I began saying that for a Chain Restaurant that has been in business since 1976 I expected greatness here, but I didn't feel that with our visit here.

This place is yummy. We had a blt. Very good. It wasn't as good as normal but still full of crunchy bacon. About 18 for 18 inches is a bit pricy but that is a very big sandwich. My husband was waiting impatiently for this place to open. They also have an app if you like to save money.

Bone I found in my sandwich.

I'm so sad writing this review because I love Capriotti's but I ordered The Bobby today and when I got home to eat it the bread looked like it had been smashed in someone's hand. On my second bite I bit into a bone! The bone totally threw me off and I couldn't eat anymore. I also got a combo with the fries and they were okay but verrryyy salty. I know this location is new but they have a lot of stuff to work through. I don't know if I would come back for a while or at least until they get everything figured out.

Proof of order and that they stole my $ I left with no food or refund.

If I'd known how good it was I'd have bought the 8" and taken half home. My favorite pastrami sandwiches were always the ones where they kept the pastrami hot in juice and it got super tender. But here they just grill it. I was SUPER HAPPY at how perfectly tender it was and WITHOUT FAT. Great flavor! Normally I just want pickle and mustard but I ordered it with the slaw and dressing and added pickle and mustard. It was very good but next time I'll stick with my normal extra pickle and mustard and ask for the slaw on the side because I do not want to miss out on the slaw. It's delicious! Greetings my little festerlings!…read more When Jersey Mike's was first introduced into my area, years back, I wasn't really too excited. Figured it to be another fad restaurant that would slowly fade away (like 5 guys should..yuk!). Not really a big sandwich person most of the tme. But I still remember my first time walking into one. It was my first visit where I knew I had it all wrong! I ate there a bunch of times after, because I worked in the same strip mall. Next to Hello Deli which is located in Vista California, and Quiznos, Jersey Mike's is the best sub shop out there! So first I'll say, I haven't had Jersey Mike's in a couple of years at least, and I was delighted to realize that my points have never expired! Matter of fact, after my purchase today, I already have an upcoming reward. So let's get to the review of this particular location by Scheels. I came in on a Sunday around 2 O'Clock or so, and they were pretty busy. Most of the tables taken by eager patrons. Two girls behind the counter and one guy behind the flat top. After using the restroom to wash my hands because I've been working with chemicals (which was clean for the most part) I got in line to make my order. I only had one girl in front of me and then two more customers behind me. I don't understand everyone's angst with the amount of time that it takes. I mean they have to slice the meat and cheese, it's not like walking into 7-Eleven and grabbing one of those rat sandwiches from the bunker fridge. So yeah it took a little bit of time, But I'm not in a hurry, not like I have an appointment with the president or something today. The first girl got my order started. I ordered a giant number 13 with roast beef. She started on two customers sandwiches that were in line behind me. Yes, efficient for them, and no I didn't mind. Now I've been told I have sort of an intimidating presence. The next girl who finished assembling my sandwich was either slightly disorganized, new or maybe nervous. I had to ask her a few times for the same things on my sandwich, and it seemed like she was trying to rush me through because she got immediately to the juice and was about to button my sandwich up when I had to ask her for mayonnaise and relish. But she pulled it through and got it done, got my sandwich, took it home and ate half, and willl probably eat the other half today. I think my total time in line was maybe 10 minutes? Anyhow, the sandwich was great, I got a freebie coming up, and it was nice to have a Jersey Mike's sub after all these years. I'm sure I'll be back again sometime! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
