Best chicken piccata ever!!! I absolutely hate that I cannot remember the servers name because she was so so nice!

It's a shame I have to leave 1 star for this restaurant. The food is really good. I had the baked lasagna thought it was great. My wife really enjoyed her baked spaghetti. In fact, the 5 other couples we were there with all enjoyed their food. The service was fine. Ambiance was nice too. So why the one star? Because there were 12 of us, we were auto charged a 20% gratuity. That was expected, even though we all had separate checks. I guess we had to pay a "sit together with your friends" tax. The auto tip was subtly listed and easily missed if you didn't scrutinize the bill. But listed below everything, in its usual customary spot on a dinner check, was a line for an "additional tip" with suggested amounts. 20% isn't enough for you? If my wife and I had sat by ourselves, we wouldn't have been charged an auto tip, but because we're with a group, that gives you reason to try to squeeze some more money out of us? This is disgusting behavior. Covid is over, get your hands out of my pockets and stop begging. read more

If you are looking for McDonalds type quality for Italian food this is the place. Bitter unedible Eggplant Parmesan/ cheap Flavorless Fettuccine Alfredo/ Little Caesars quality pizza/Canollis with globs of hersheys syrup. Please take note, if a restaurant offers Fried Pickles/ Onions Rings/ Lance crackers on salad then it's not authentic Italian food. If you are looking for authentic Italian food Sciortinos is a great choice. read more

Great Italian food! Capri's Italian is located in a plaza so there is a lot of parking. When we entered, the ambiance was very romantic and the servers were very accommodating. The portion sizes were very good for the price. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, lasagna, and chicken parmesan. Both entrees came with a salad and they gave us very large portions. We took almost half of our plates home because we could not finish all of it. We highly recommend the mozzarella sticks! The cheese was melted and the crust was very crunchy. read more

Exceptional service from JACKIE!! She was very professional and friendly and took great care of us. The restaurant got very busy which is a good sign. We had a ladies' group meeting here the evening of March 3rd. in their private rooms. We had a speaker and the waitresses gave outstanding service. Met every request. Food came out very efficiently giving plenty of time for conversation and our speaker. And the meals were delicious and most all had leftovers to take home. Thank you, Capri's! read more

I've been here several times and it's always been good. I've sat at the bar and at a table in the main dining room. Surprisingly, I had better service at the bar. Salads are amazing and generous in portion. The bread is always warm. Fried mushroom appetizer was really good and came piping hot. My favorite out of everything I've tried would probably be the shrimp scampi. Shrimp wasn't overcooked and there was a lot of flavors and pasta. Lots of leftovers to take home! read more

Sooooooo..... with this opening around the corner form our home we figured why not! We had also heard that it was good. Now what's good to me is very different then good to others. Had open seating/ spacious and not busy. Really big place and huge bar. The customer service was PHENOMENAL! Young girl gave us great service. Always came back in a timely fashion. Quick, easy, never waited much time for anything. The ravioli unfortunately wasn't crispy or hard it was very soft. Super duper hot. But not crispy at all. Not my preference tbh. My chicken parm was good but wayyyyyyyy toooo much sauce on top of the chicken. The chicken was soggy cause of all the sauce on top. The sauce itself was good just way too much on top. The pasta was good but unfortunately they drowned the chicken parm. My wife had 0 complains with her Alfredo. I wouldn't go back and just with other places in the area. I would skip. read more

Well, it snapped me right out of my sleep this morning with full blown food poisoning. Very strange experience at this restaurant last evening. We got there around 7:20pm, were told it would be 10 min to wait, and we weren't seated until just after 7:45pm. I asked the waitress which was better, the eggplant parm or chicken parm. She stated she didn't know, that nobody ever orders eggplant. Umm, ok. Odd response. I ordered the chicken parm, which was supposed to come with a side of spaghetti which I never received and the waitress didn't notice. I didn't say anything and it didn't matter because I didn't think the chicken was all that good. The sauce way was too sweet and the chicken is not pounded thin into cutlets. It seemed like they were all more concerned with getting out of there for the evening than taking care of paying customers. Additionally, it just seemed chaotic up at the counter with too many employees lingering around with their various issues. We went to pay and two of them said they couldn't do it because they had been clocked out. Definitely not someplace that would be on my radar to return to the in future. Took advantage of restaurant week special last night. Got baked raviolis with marinara as app. Delicious. Especially loved the sauce! Salad course was antipasti We requested blue cheese dressing. Nice chunks of blue cheese. Definitely home made. Salad nice assortment of antipasti ingredients. Greens fresh and crunchy. Eggplant parm with pasta and meat sauce entree was perfectand for dessert tiramisu. Everything beautifully packaged. And we were able to get it curbside! The restaurant in the Pelham park off E.North St. is a lovely place. We were seated right away. The server was attentive but didn't hover. The Manicotti sauce was still bubbling when it was brought out. The Chicken Marsala was very tasty. The antipasto salad was delicious. read more

Some are Long Gone and one in Easley is still the Standard bearer. Now this one has located in the Pelham/Haywood Road area. As You walk in you start to get the old/new Vibe. You see all the Vino Bottles hanging from the Ceiling, but You see the Sports Bar Theme, going in the Bar Area Yes 2024 Updated Version is a Hit!!!The Food/Service was even Better than I expected with all those Historic Meals to choose from. Service was excellent, and food was well cooked and hot. I actually give Capri's 3.5-stars because, being Sicilian from NY, I set a VERY high bar for Italian Food. I had the Lasagna and it was good, accompanied by a small mixed salad. I rate what I view as the best Italian in the area (Trattoria Giorgio) 4-stars to put Capri's 3.5-stars in perspective. So, I definitely recommend you try Capri's... reasonable prices, with great service and good food. read more

OMG! I do not go out to eat Italian. My wife makes a decent sauce at home and most places are too expensive for mediocre sauce. Capri's sauce was so delicious. A spur of the moment dinner outing with a couple friends led us to Capri's Italian. Right from walking in at 7pm to leaving at 10 pm, it was a joyful experience. Perfect ten for ambiance included an amazing playlist in the background, comfortable seating and attentive service. Three in our party of four were watching their carb intake and the menu did not disappoint. A decent variety to choose from, we settled on chicken, flounder and salmon for entries. The side of baked potatoes was all the carbs we ordered. Food was plentiful, prices very very reasonable and ordering a Negroni (at $8!!!) right off the bat was the best decision I made. All in all a memorable evening. I will definitely add this to my favorites. There are plenty things on the menu that we need to go back and explore!!! read more

Went here during Restaurant Week with some friends... sat at the table for 20 minutes without a waitress coming up to greet us and take our drink order. Once we flagged her down, she brought us our food and drinks and the wine glass I was given had a lipstick stain on it. The manager came over and asked if we needed anything else which I appreciated, but overall the food just sucked. Worst fried mushrooms I've ever had, antipasta that was just pieces of pepperoni atop lettuce, and an average chicken parm that killed my stomach afterwards. I ordered takeout this past week - linguine pasta with spinach, shrimp, and alfredo sauce. I love Capris and was excited to try this new one in Greenville. I don't know where to begin except to say that it was just awful. The linguine was fine, but the shrimp tasted like it had thawed and then refroze (mushy and tasteless-Helene hurricane power outage?) and the alfredo sauce was watery and had no flavor at all. I had two shrimp and only ate about 1/8th of my meal. It was the worst Italian meal I have ever had. I used to eat at the Capris on Stone Avenue and it was the best!!!! Not sure what happened at this Capris but I will never go back again. Seriously, Capris, I don't know how you completely missed the mark with this one. This place gives new meaning to your neighborhood bar and grill, but it's more than that! My wife and have a wonderful dinner and we enjoyed talking to everyone around us. The owner came out to ask how we were, keyword " We" He was more concerned about the people than wondering about the food, in fact he didn't even asked that until he finished his conversation with us. We went to Capri's last night for dinner. Again. It's a regular on our dining list, because EVERY SINGLE TIME - the service and food are totally awesome!!! We're veterans of Capri's on Augusta and Stone Avenue for many (many) years, and this Pelham Road location carries on the Greenville/Capri's tradition - and does it beautifully. Horrible food. Idk how they call that Italian food. My wife had chicken fettuccine alfredo and the chicken was marinated in teriyaki sauce?!! They never told us when we ordered it. That is a very odd marinade for chicken. In an Italian dish. I ordered chicken parm. The chicken was pounded so thin, that all you could taste was the fried breading. We sent it back. It's a sad day when you can say Olive Garden is 100% better than this place. read more
