Chicken Parm - 5/5
Brynt L.

Recently tried the much talked about Pastavino and it certainly lived up to the hype. It was slow when we arrived, but quickly got packed. The seating can be a little tight, but not uncomfortably so. The service was quick and attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the Zucchini chips which were perfectly fried -- light and crispy. I had the chicken parm which was enough for two! Overall, great spot for date night or hearty dinner with family.

Wow, my new favorite place to eat! I love that this family owned. We finally checked it out last night and had an incredible experience! We called to speak to the hostess before leaving the house to see if there was a wait. My experience in the past with most restaurants is that the hostess answering the phone can be kurt and hang up at the end of the conversation without saying goodbye. This was not the case with Pastavino, Marie was personable and sweet! As soon as we walked in the door, the ambience was warm and inviting. Our server, Heather, was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive (not just an order taker like most places). We were impressed with the spectacular food choices, and the portion sizes were impressive. Of course, the food was divine with a tremendous amount of flavor. We loved everything from the charming ambience, creative cocktails, delicious food, impeccable service, and everything in between! We highly recommend checking them out, and we cannot wait to go back!

Hubby and I went here on a friend's recommendation. First, ask for Conner to be your server. He is awesome. I would give 10 stars if I could. I'm not sure I can give a proper description of the food. It is Italian. The seafood. The seafood is the best. I am from Florida. Haven't had any good seafood since moving here. We have found our seafood place. I got the seafood Alfredo and hubby got the stuffed flounder. Basically, it was broiled flounder on top of a Maryland broiled crab cake. I just want that crab cake right on top of my fettuccine Alfredo. We will be back.

The food is delicious and they give you generous portions; enough for two meals. The crab cakes are true Maryland crab cakes.

This Resturant is a must try! The food and service are on point. The bar and the bartenders make it a slam dunk!

Our server was Jazlyn and she was fantastic; friendly and yet very professional. She was also clearly proud of the food coming out of the kitchen and definitely steered us well to some amazing dishes as first- time customers. We began with very well-prepared cocktails and were given time to enjoy those as we perused the menu. Appetizers ordered were the Carciofi: artichoke bottom stuffed with crab and on a bed of the most divine cream sauce which made us doubly glad that we had also ordered the fresh, warm focaccia bread to soak up every single drop. (I could eat that sauce as a soup!) We then had the Costoletta, a breaded bone-in pork chop in a cognac and veal stock topped with a light, lemon-dressed arugula salad. The plate was beautiful and delicious. Oh the sauces here! I had the lobster ravioli and while it was #3 of our favorite dishes, I would still order it again. All were enjoyed with a lovely glass of Chianti. We ended the evening with a nice Creme Brûlée and coffees, already talking about our NEXT VISIT.

We both got pasta and the quality was the same as Olive Garden, unfortunately the price was quadruple the cost. It's not that the food was bad but for that price it felt like we got robbed. I'm gonna have to hear through word of mouth that the food has gotten better or prices have dropped significantly before I go back.

Our friends had eaten there before; for us, it was our first time, but we definitely plan to return! In wanting to see if they could accommodate a little birthday surprise, I called ahead and spoke to Michelle. She was extremely polite and attentive to my detailed plans, stating the restaurant would give a slice of cake to our friend. Although her shift was soon ending; she took explicit notes for the oncoming shift. I called later to make sure everything was in place; Michelle was a woman of her word, so the planned surprise was a go! Italian Garden is a quaint restaurant with super-friendly staff. We were blessed to have Nada as our server! Their menu selections are extensive, with something for everyone's tastes! With a beautiful smile and pleasant personality, Nada took our orders. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, and we were all pleased with our choices! Their portions are plentiful as three out of the four of us brought food home. After we had finished our delicious meal, I was ecstatic to see not one but the entire staff walking toward our table with the cake, singing "Happy Birthday"! What a beautiful way to conclude our dining experience! In many ways during our leisurely time there, Italian Garden Restaurant exceeded our expectations! If you are looking for a sweet atmosphere with delicious food at fair prices, look no further than this restaurant!

This place was great! Starting off with the salad. It was…read morepretty good, it came very quickly, in about 5 minutes. It was seasoned alright, but it was a little too peppery. The croutons were crispy, and the lettuce tasted high quality. The kids pasta tasted of basil a lot. I wouldn't really recommend it for most kids (they are pretty picky lol) But it was good! The sauce was thin and flavorful. The pasta was cooked well for a child's taste. Our two main pastas we got were the White Lighting and the Tumblin Tumbleweed. The White Lightning was creamy and rich. It was basically a fancy Alfredo pasta with stuff in it, but you can't go wrong with that! It was really tasty overall. The Tumblin Tumbleweed was amazing, though. The pasta was cooked very very well in my opinion! (Al Dente.) It had a distinct truffle taste to it, which I loved. It had a ton of stuff in it, like mushrooms. It was delicious. By the way, if you order an order of bread and get this pasta, you can dip the bread into the sauce of this pasta when you're finished. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very kind. She handled our feedback on the basil spaghetti well! The atmosphere was very nice. It's a small building, but the decor is very nice. There is about 12 tables in the room, not including the bar seating. If you're going on a Friday or Saturday evening, a reservation would be recommended. Overall, the price was about $98 including tips and tax. Amazing!

The theme and decor is different and so cute, plus they played Western movies from back in the day. Our server was excellent and helped us with the menu choices as some were a bit of a different style Italian than the norm. The Burrata appetizer was amazing and very fresh. My husband had the cacciatore and loved it. I had the marinara and while it was good I didn't love it. It was a bit sweet for marinara and needed Locatelli cheese. Again, not bad just different for my taste. I do want to try other entrees the next time we are visiting the area because I'm sure they are great as well. I had their version of an espresso martini which was made with spiced rum. I was intrigued and my first sip was interesting. The second was good and the rest of the sips were delicious! We would definitely go back if we travel to the area again.
