We came on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Upon arriving they asked us if we had a reservation and sadly we didn't (not knowing we would need one for a Wednesday). We waited for a table for about 20 minutes. The inside is updated/modern and you would never know you're in a retail strip center. We got the crab appetizer as a starter, delicious! I got the veal Parmesan, full of flavor (I did wish it came with pasta or mashed potatoes though). The only negative I would say is it was slow. This is a place you go for a long dinner. We only saw our waitress when she took our order, brought the appetizer, and then another gentlemen brought our dinner. We had empty waters for majority of the meal. It was busy, the meal was so delicious that we will give it another chance.

Recently tried the much talked about Pastavino and it certainly lived up to the hype. It was slow when we arrived, but quickly got packed. The seating can be a little tight, but not uncomfortably so. The service was quick and attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the Zucchini chips which were perfectly fried -- light and crispy. I had the chicken parm which was enough for two! Overall, great spot for date night or hearty dinner with family.

Wow, my new favorite place to eat! I love that this family owned. We finally checked it out last night and had an incredible experience! We called to speak to the hostess before leaving the house to see if there was a wait. My experience in the past with most restaurants is that the hostess answering the phone can be kurt and hang up at the end of the conversation without saying goodbye. This was not the case with Pastavino, Marie was personable and sweet! As soon as we walked in the door, the ambience was warm and inviting. Our server, Heather, was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive (not just an order taker like most places). We were impressed with the spectacular food choices, and the portion sizes were impressive. Of course, the food was divine with a tremendous amount of flavor. We loved everything from the charming ambience, creative cocktails, delicious food, impeccable service, and everything in between! We highly recommend checking them out, and we cannot wait to go back!

Hubby and I went here on a friend's recommendation. First, ask for Conner to be your server. He is awesome. I would give 10 stars if I could. I'm not sure I can give a proper description of the food. It is Italian. The seafood. The seafood is the best. I am from Florida. Haven't had any good seafood since moving here. We have found our seafood place. I got the seafood Alfredo and hubby got the stuffed flounder. Basically, it was broiled flounder on top of a Maryland broiled crab cake. I just want that crab cake right on top of my fettuccine Alfredo. We will be back.

Pastavino is a great addition to Greer area. Their crab cakes are some of the best I've had in town!

The food is delicious and they give you generous portions; enough for two meals. The crab cakes are true Maryland crab cakes.

The Pelham Road location is roomier with a better layout, so it worked out in our favor. The food was the same, and the service was over-the-top good. I couldn't tell you the last time I've experienced that level of service. The only warning I would offer is that the portions are very generous. Unless you are a competitive eater, get the smaller size and order a variety. Everything is great.

When she knows what she wants for dinner, I'm going to cooperate. The restaurant was not busy at 6pm on a Friday evening so we were seated immediately at a table and drink orders taken. When our drinks arrived, we ordered dinner. Quick. Like less than five minutes. A big sandwich with Mrs. that arrived with a plate of fries. And a plate of catfish and shrimp for me, also with a stack of fries and the cole slaw. All of it was okay. The catfish was light and flaky and not overly battered. Fresh from the frier. The shrimp were also lightly battered and lightly spiced. The TON of fries we had were delicious. Cooked properly, served hot and with a nice zingy spice on them. Overall, a good experience. Solidly four stars. [Review 486 of 2026 - 1414 in South Carolina - 25668 overall]

Mild heat, because we are exactly the white people that setting implies. Mrs. W. grew up at the beach and cracked, peeled, and de-shelled everything with the calm efficiency of someone who has done this her entire life, occasionally sliding a fully cleaned piece of crab onto my plate without a word, the way you'd hand a tool to someone who clearly doesn't know how to use it. When I picked up my order the waitress was very nice and she had my order ready when I walked in. The food itself was great! I'm not sure what my order was, due to having my sister (who frequently dines in here) order me her favorites. The food was well flavored, good quality ingredients, and very hot when picked up! Side Note: the crawfish was huge and I very much enjoyed that as I usually don't order crawfish because of its small size, not sure if the crawfish are normally that size but I loved it. Overall, I would definitely come back to this spot!!

Our waiter was a superstar- in talking with him he shared he was from Ecuador and made suggestions for our lunch choice. We started with the beef and chicken empanadas- very good- and an order of maduros- ripe plantains. We should have stopped there because I was almost full at that point. For our entrees we chose shrimp mofongo- which we really see in small cities being that it is the national dish of Puerto Rico- and the paella for one. Both were wonderful. I would argue that the size of the paella should be be renamed as a lid of a trashcan serving. It was giant and we barely put a dent in it before asking for a to go box.
