Decided to have my birthday dinner here. Service was very good and the meal was exceptional.

Portions really small . Nothing special. Way overpriced. If this is the ocean, but on both sides of the building is a concrete hotel basically. If they put Window dressings or even a shade on the sides, it might be a little bit better, but you can't avoid where they're located. No one ever came over and assist. The food was good. Tide To Table was an awesome beachfront bar, with an amazing indoor and outdoor setup! I loved how easy it was to walk up to it from the beach, and to utilize the aforementioned indoor and outdoor bar areas. While I did walk inside for a few minutes, I spent the majority of my time lounging by the outdoor wading pool, and getting a delicious piña colada from the bar. The one (1) downside was that the first bartender I interacted with wasn't very enthusiastic, but everybody after that was great. Other than that one (1) bartender, everything about Tide To Table was fantastic. Can't recommend it enough! read more

We were staying here for my birthday weekend and decided to have dinner our first night at the hotel. It was a Thursday night, and we did not have reservations. We came around 7pm, and got sat pretty quickly with a window seat. The view is beautiful outside you can see the ocean, and the sun was setting so it was perfect. Inside the restaurant is really nice as well. Waiter came over very quick to get drinks and food ordered. I ordered a glass of wine, and I ordered the fresh caught halbiut with a side of puree vegetables, artichoke hearts and gratin potatoes. My husband ordered the steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfect and seasoned on point. The halibut was tender and flaky and juicy. The vegetables were seasoned and cooked right. The gratin potatoes were cheesy and sliced thin. I even tried some of my husbands steak/asparagus/mashed potatoes and it was all amazing. We did not stay for dessert, because we were so full. I even ate my leftovers later. The waiter was quick with our check and we didn't have to sit forever. Will be back next time we are in town for sure. read more

Tide to Table is a lovely beachfront restaurant, reservations suggested. Don't let the attachment to an older hotel deter your visit. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Food was very good-large portions. She crab soup was delicious. The same with the Au gratin potatoes-we will try to recreate them at home My wife had the lobster, which was perfectly cooked. The grilled bone in pork chop was expertly grilled to medium. would definitely return again. read more

Great dinner at the newly opened Tide to Table restaurant inside the Litchfield Inn! They've got a couple kinks to work out service wise but the drinks and meal were fantastic. We loved the ocean views and will absolutely be back again soon! read more

The food was delicious and deserves five stars but the service was lacking. Our server needs more training as the others seem to be keeping up with their tables. The location is lovely. Make reservations and get a table along the beach. Even the side windows were enchanting though the high top tables may be difficult for some. We were told the specials in a lackluster manner and after we ordered our appetizers were told that they were out of our choice. This should have been conveyed to us along with the specials and the server just said, "it's not my fault". The she crab soup was probably one of the best we've ever had. We shared a bowl, delicious! There was a long wait between appetizers and the arrival of our entrees. The crab cakes in the entree were ok. Too much breading for my taste but I'm a Crisfield girl who knows her crab cakes. The bread was just lovely. My partner wanted a second glass of wine with his meal. Our entrees were delivered by a different waiter and he asked for a second glass. We were half way through our meal before it arrived. Our waiter picked up our empty water bottle early in the meal and never returned it. My water glass was empty for the rest of our meal. Again, very good food, we just got an inadequate server that made the meal less stellar. read more

Service was lovely. The ambiance was so nice. We were seated right at the windows overlooking the beach! Our food was very well done. My hubby had the Scottish salmon. He subbed the gratin potatoes since he isn't a fan of asparagus. I had the she crab bisque which was decadently creamy and the special of the day pan seared halibut with carrots and umami risotto the flavors were excellent and all was well cooked and presented! We came in as a group of five on a rainy Sunday night in October. Tim, our server, provided excellent service. He was attentive, had the timing perfect, and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere of the place was lovely and didn't feel thrown off by a slow night. We started with the tomatillo cocktail and it was delicious! The oysters on the half shell were small and sweet and fresh (just how they should be). For entrees, we enjoyed the salmon, catch of the day (swordfish), Chilean sea bass, and scallops. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and each fish was prepared perfectly. For dessert we tried all three they had available and ordered a variety of espresso drinks. All were great! We will certainly return on our next visit to Pawley's Island. read more

First time visit. This is the third restaurant trying to make a comeback here. Only two things impressed us =quality of the food, and an ocean view if you get to sit in the east side of the restaurant. Downfalls and Disappointments: Food portions small in relation to cost. We left hungry. Restaurant views north and south you get to see hotel guests going in and out of their hotel room. A view west you get the reception area, so the only good view is east to the ocean. We tried wine by the glass and alcohol. The only Cabernet by glass was "Bonanza" at $15 which is about $5 too much since the whole bottle is $14 retail. That's $15x5$75 they get for a $14 cost. Real nice, however icing on the cake was the bartenders are trained to measure an exact 6oz measured pour and not one drop more! Like it's a $200 bottle of wine lol All drinks with cheap alcohol measured same way you don't get one drop more of a 4 oz shot. Had a conversation with the resident manager who basically coughed it all up to "industry standard" attitude, not understanding you have got to let bartenders POUR! Anyway my professional suggestion for this venue is good luck getting returning locals to come in on a regular basis when there are plenty of other venues we can spend our money and feel like we are getting our money's worth and stop the "industry standard attitude " of working your bar off a spreadsheet. If you plan to visit this restaurant, make sure you either eat something light before you go, and drink a few drinks before hand to help out on this visit read more

Our family of 10 made a reservation and they had our table ready when we arrived. We had one person with severe food allergies and the staff made sure their food was prepared safely! My wife and I dined last night with another couple. Our food and service was great. Thecdinners we had: the braised short ribs, crab cake and salmon. Starters of wedge (huge salad) and crab soup. The braised short ribs were one of the best I've had. Now I consider this as a fine dining establishment - but it felt like I was in a bar. When the waiter was sharing the specials, we actually could not hear anything over the noise coming from the room. Not my choice for a relaxing dining experience. read more

This is a top 5 all time best meals i have had in my life. No joke. I have traveled to 45 states and over a dozen foreign countries in my life and can honestly say this is top five meal lifetime. The flavors are so impressive, between the crab bisque and the Scallop dinner, i savored every single bite like it was my last. The staff are incredible and this hidden gem is worth whatever you have to do to get there. You may not notice it as it is built into a hotel/condo facility but i can assure you, beginning to end, an incredible meal. It deserves to be a destination restaurant. Incredible. read more

Wonderful food and great service! The bartenders Tim and Kim were friendly and made delicious cocktails to help us celebrate our anniversary. The manager Dave greeted us and after we finished our food came over to see what we thought. Everything served was delicious- I had the grouper special with couscous and purple sweet potato and my husband had his "best ever" short rib dinner. Porter was friendly and accommodating and the view is amazing. This place is on the top of our list and we highly recommend it. read more

The restaurant is beautiful, cocktail at the bar was amazing-though I did not finish. We did have to flag the bartender down to order. The bartenders were too busy to pay attention to us. Our reservations were at 8. We arrived at 7:50(thinking that we could get a cocktail at the bar). When we arrived we were told that it would be at least a 30 minute wait for our table--why make reservations?Everything seemed to be slow. The food looked good. The manager was too busy with a large table to pay attention to what was going on in the rest of the restaurant. Ambiance was awesome, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The cocktails were substantially smaller than at any other restaurant in the area. When I received the smoked old fashioned I ordered I thought it was a joke. The drink barely covered half the ice cube. My wife's Cosmopolitan was also less than half the coupe glass it was served in. We are talking $13-$15 cocktails that appear to be half the amount they should be. This is a high end restaurant with high end prices. Oh by the way, there is absolutely no bread service. You can't even buy bread ! Pretty crazy in my opinion. read more

I had the crab cakes for my main course and they were beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. We went to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were staying at the Inn and just got in that afternoon. We did not have reservations but sat at the bar. Doug was very attentive to us and others at the bar, We ordered a few cocktails to start with to look over the menu. We ordered Fried Oysters for an appatizer. They were done perfectly. For dinner we both had 2 Crab pastas. Big chunks of crab mixed into the delicate sauce. A very good portion. Doug recomended Les Cassagnes wine to go with it. It was a perfect match. For dessert we shared an Espresso de Creme, It was so delicious. He also gave us an after dinner Aperitif on the house to celebrate. It was a very good evening. The restaurant is wonderful ~ open, contemporary, and right on the ocean. We sat at the beautiful wood bar and could see the ocean reflected in the mirror. Josh, our bartender/server was excellent! He made great recommendations for cocktails and dinner. The Cosmo was refreshing; the Pawley's Punch was delicious with just a bit of kick from the jalapeños. There is also a limited wine by the glass menu. The Chilean sea bass was exceptional and cooked to perfection. The crab cakes were mostly crab with a light breading ~ absolutely delicious!! My favorite was the She Crab Bisque. It was loaded with crab in a sherry crème fraiche. It is a bit pricey, and I feel I really got my money's worth. I will definitely go there again! read more

Oceanfront restaurant inside the Litchfield Inn. Absolutely gorgeous views and very close to the waves. Food is very good but we wanted it to be better. I am a shrimp cocktail fanatic and was exited to see it on the menu. 4 large shrimp for $17 so I expected it to be off the charts but it was just good. Shrimp were a little chewy. The Scottish salmon was very good and the crab cakes were okay too but for the price it should have been elite and the only thing elite was the view and the service. read more

food was delicious but overall experience was very disappointing. first they ask if we would like bread with our meal we said yes please they brought three slices of bread the size of a fingerling potato for four people. we asked them why they had brought four bread plates. If there were only three pieces of bread they said that's the way it came three pieces of fingerling potato size bread for five dollars we just couldn't make sense that four people at the table they bought four plates only three pieces of bread when we said something to the waitress she told the manager and the manager came over with one more bread plate, and one slice of bread on it. This is what you've been waiting for. Snippy little manager, who appeared to be about 19 that was also about the number of piercings she had in each ear and in her nose. That's just the beginning it goes on and on including having a container of blue cheese dressing dropped on the floor, which bounced and splattered all over 2 of us, pants shoes, etc. enough said.
