This chick-fil-a is near my apartment so I decided to give it a try! I had a good experience at this chick-fil-a, there were just some inconveniences that I experienced from the location. Food- excellent as always! We ordered chicken sandwiches, fries, and the holiday peppermint shake. All were good except: the gluten free bun. Oh man. I'm gluten free and normally order the grilled nuggets, but I had a coupon for a sandwich that couldn't be replaced with nuggets. The cashier was sweet and knew I was gluten free, so he suggested a gf bun. I paid the $1.50 for the bun. Wooooof. It was drier than a desert. I took one bite and swiftly axed the bun lol It's cool Chick-fil-a has the gf option, but it's awful. Service- service was great! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I wish I remembered the name of our cashier because he was so helpful and also funny. Parking - not good. We had to park in a lot kind of a walk away. The parking lot is small and super weird to get into from the street. It's actually pretty inconvenient parking. Location- not good. It's complicated to get to the restaurant and hard to know where to turn into. It's also complicated to get out and get back onto the main street. Cleanliness - clean inside and out. Clean bathrooms. The last inconvenience is that there is no drive through. No biggie to eat inside, but if I need it to go I would go to another location. read more

This newly opened Chick-Fil-A location is great! We've gone several times now and their spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and fries are delicious. The spicy chicken deluxe sandwich has a tasty buttered bun with fried chicken inside that is perfectly cooked. The fries are also crispy and tastes just the way we like it. Compared with other Chick-Fil-A locations, we think this is one of the better locations because of the quality of the food. Some of the other Chick-Fil-A's do not heat the bun so that it is fluffy and they over-cook the chicken so that it is dry. Also, some of the other locations seem to give you fries that are stale and have been sitting there for a long time. Every time we've gone to this location, everything has been freshly made. We will continue to dine at this location since they do a great job and have great service. read more

Corporate please come and improve this location. We walked in at 9:15. There was one other person who had ordered and the cashier left and didn't acknowledge us and nobody else came to the front. Unusual for Chick-fil-A . Even at the busy locations they welcome you and ask you to wait. It did not seem like they had enough staff working. I went into the restroom and there was poop on the toilet. The tables did not look like they were cleaned properly. The food was good. Overall I will skip this location. read more

So this chick-fil-a is unique in that it's a stand alone location with NO drive thru. I understand locations in malls or stadiums wouldn't have a drive thru, but never seen a stand alone location without one. Inside it's much calmer since they don't have to hurry to get all the drive thru orders out. They have lots of parking. They definitely had room to make it a drive thru. I think the city for whatever reason didn't want a drive thru here as they thought it would cause too much traffic. Food was fresh and like any other Chick-fil-A. I think the food and service at chikfila has been well documented. But this location suffers from some logistical hurdles that keep us from coming back: no drive thru, the curbside pickup shares spots with the EV chargers so both groups are constantly jockeying for spots (Why would you do this). Also, they don't start your order until you actually park and say your are there. The only reason I do curbside is so you can start working on my order so it is ready by the time I arrive. Fast food is a commodity. You win on convenience or we stop coming. read more

I don't write reviews. But I'm going to for this Chic-Fil-A. Wish I could rate this location lower. Portions are the absolute worst of any chic-fil-a I've been to. Every kid that works here, as well as the "managers", have an attitude problem. Every time I come for my app order, they're screwing around doing squats or something weird. Why am I always waiting 10 extra minutes, after my order says it's ready? Why am I being given attitude when I'm waiting on you to finish an order that I can clearly see and read, is done? I have very very simple orders that I order online ahead of time. Tired of wasting my money here. read more

Food is good this isn't about that. Call me lazy for ordering right before breakfast is over but if I order it at 10:27 on the app I feel like it should be able to get made for me. Employees intentionally disregard the amount of sauce you ask for. There hasn't been a single time when they've given me the correct amount, always less. Which then forces me to walk behind the counter and grab more sauce, which yes, I do every time. Haven't been called out on it once; just act like you own the place and nobody asks questions. Might even start taking customer orders if they keep this up, which I'm sure they won't be mad about because they'd probably get better ratings online with me running the show. I'm going to the first review and the most honest review. It was amazing! Although I expected a first 100 card meal, for some reason, I did not obtain it. However, the service was incredible and food tasted great. The fries were fresh, the buns were perfect, and the chicken was crispy. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very welcoming. Friendly and helpful. I love the chicken great new location. The only downside is they don't have a drive-through, but it's worth.

3 stars is the perfect review and the that's what I'm giving. Great food like always but slow service. They have no drive thru and it takes just as long or longer for the food to be ready, even when it's not that busy. The to go people will also prematurely mark all the orders as complete. I stopped by this CFA earlier and like most others, it was clean, organized, and the service was pretty fast. The food was also hot when I received it. One of the employees, I think her name was Aaliah stood out to me. She had a decent sized line to handle, but still took the time to chat with guests and even handed out stickers to some of the younger guests which I thought was nice to see. You may need to tell management to monitor the team on the line and check for quality control, instead of showing ppl squat moves in front of the customer. Also, when I called what I thought was the Costa Mesa store, I called headquarters in Georgia and was on hold for 8 minutes to talk to someone. Get your act together. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, which made a great first impression.
