Not good... bad oysters and shrimp. Unfriendly staff especially my cashier . The shrimp fried rice was actually good. But I'm not going back.

3 piece red fish meal for $8.99.

This is a good budget place to eat seafood. Located in a run down strip center they offer fried and grilled seafood. I tried the redfish dinner and it was good. It came with slaw, fries and Texas toast. With drink it was a little over $10 and mine was one of the more expensive items on the menu. If you are in the area its a good place to try.

First of all, EXCELLENT SERVICE. My parents and I were in the neighborhood and wanted to get quick lunch somewhere without feeling too fast food. My dad likes this place and so recommended us to go. Place was clean and cozy with not too many people. My dad got the Fish Burger with french fries. I didn't get to try it but my dad says it's his favorite dish at the place. I got the Shrimp PoBoy with stuffed jalapenos. It was really good! Baguette was soft enough but still had it's baguette-feel. It was very generously packed with fried shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I added some hot sauce to give it a kick. Stuffed jalapenos were freshly made and I almost burned my tongue from the melted cheese! Lastly, my mom got the fried catfish and shrimp platter with fried rice and toast. Fried rice was really good and had generous portions of shrimp and vegetables in it. Both the catfish and shrimp were well fried and crispy. To top it off, we got those three dishes and a side of stuffed jalapeno all for less than $15! I think it'd be safe to say that I'd be back whenever craving some casual seafood.

Our table was spacious and clean, and we had privacy which was nice. Now all you can eat sushi is serious business and blue claw knows their stuff. The menu is extensive and I loved the appetizers of edamame, mussels, lobster dip and crab puffs! The sushi and sashimi were fresh, though the cuts were a little too thick at times. I especially loved the yellowtail, snapper and eel. From the sushi rolls, the title blue claw roll was an excellent balance of flavor and texture. Of note, the lobster rolls were a great dish! The chocolate ice cream paired with the tempura cheese cake was a great way to end the meal. And with some crème brûlée!

Unfortunately, things went downhill almost immediately. We were seated right away, but then waited over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We finally got our waters, and about 5 minutes later our server took our order. From there, we waited around 30 minutes just for a miso soup, hot and sour soup, and a garden salad. About 10 minutes after that, we received 2 sushi rolls and a beef skewer. Then... nothing. Another 30 minutes went by with no food, no check ins, and no water refills. Eventually, my husband had to get up and ask for a manager. She apologized and said she'd move our order to the front of the line. Honestly, it felt like our order had never been put in. All this while our baby was crying because she was hungry. I eventually had to go in her diaper bag and give her some emergency snacks I keep on hand which I shouldn't have had to do at an ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant. After reordering with the manager, some of our food finally arrived, but it still wasn't everything we ordered. They also forgot the wasabi and ginger, so my husband had to get up again to find someone. To make matters worse, while eating one of the sushi rolls we'd waited over an hour and a half for, my husband found what appeared to be a piece of fabric or sponge inside the roll. After nearly two hours, we gave up and left, still pretty certain we never got our order. As we were pulling out of the parking lot, we saw our waiter, who had disappeared shortly after taking our order, outside on a phone call. I understand employees need breaks and emergencies happen, but if a server has to step away, management should ensure someone else is covering their tables. Based on our experience, this seemed more like a management issue than an isolated mistake. We were excited to try this place, but between the extremely slow service, poor communication, incomplete orders, and finding a foreign object in the food, we won't be returning.

The space is a good size, but service could use some improvement... though honestly, that's kind of expected with older crawfish joints. The crawfish were solid, not the best I've had, but still good. The garlic butter sauce is unique with a strong tamarind presence. Personally, I'd love a little less tamarind and more Cajun seasoning. The crawfish tails were juicy (always a good sign they're properly soaked), and they use real garlic, which makes a difference. The shrimps were big and juicy, very delicious. Grilled oysters were fresh and plump but could've used more sauce. The standout for me was the razor clams! They were perfectly grilled with fried shallots and crushed peanuts toppings and thick fish sauce that complemented them really well. Also, their michelada was surprisingly really good. Overall, a solid, classic spot if you're craving Viet-Cajun.

We ordered: - Fried Calamari - Fried Seafood Platter | Fried flounder, deviled crab, baby shrimp, fried oysters, jumbo shrimp The fried calamari was actually very good. The batter was light, crispy, and perfectly salted. The fried seafood platter was very lackluster. Unlike the calamari, the batter was soggy. Unfortunately, I noticed a big change this time around. The breading on both the fish and shrimp tasted different--much saltier and kind of overpowered the flavor. Not sure if the recipe has changed, but I personally prefer the original breading. That light, well-seasoned coating was part of what made me keep coming back over the years. Hoping this was just an off day or that the original recipe makes a comeback soon
