Amazing service, delicious crawfish, and great deals! We came in during lunch time on a Friday and were immediately sat and tended to. They had a 5lbs for $40 crawfish deal and it was perfect! Dillan was great and added to our experience.

We stopped in after lunch, but before Happy Hour. The restaurant was empty so we opted to sit at the bar and were greeted by Ashley. We ordered the crawfish pistollet, always a must with any meal. It's toasty and savory, I have no other way to describe it other than perfection. This location recently received new menus that are bright, colorful, and easy to read. We opted for the lunch menu. The grilled chicken breast is served with melted cheese and sautéed mushrooms over a bed of shrimp fried rice. The chicken was moist and grilled perfectly. We also ordered the lunch fried shrimp which comes with 5 fried shrimp, 2 hush puppies, and fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. Ashley was attentive and personable.

This is a happening place. I love the atmosphere here. The table setup for a crawfish boil was great. I saw that they prepared the tables with bibs and gloves for those who purchased those meals. I love that! I want to come back and try it out here. I did order the fisherman's platter and couldn't finish it. There was so much food. It was delicious! My husband ordered the Texas Redfish combo and enjoyed his meal as well. The fried green tomatoes were seasoned well and I love the different sauces to use with this. Now I will say the service could've been better because I heard several tables near us frustrated waiting for the waiter to order their meal. We were tended too as best as he could but I know he was busy with the Friday night rush. Other than that I wouldn't mind coming back to try the crawfish boil.

I am a fan of Bluewater and visit this location and the OG location about 7 miles to the east on FM 1960 from time to time. However I only order one item from their menu and nothing else. My favorite is the blackened catfish regular size that comes with one fillet with shrimp fried rice, buttered toast and my chosen side of the grilled vegetables for $12.49. They have a larger version with 2 fillets for $16.79. The plate comes with one plump blackened catfish fillet on top of a bed of shrimp fried rice. Next to it is a mound of grilled veggies and all of this is slightly covered in a butter sauce that is the secret to its success. I love the taste of this meal and think of it as comfort food. The toast can be used to mop up some of the sauce at the bottom of the plate adding to the enjoyment. This location has parking in its strip center along with an unpaved lot next to it. They have a large outdoor dining area with a bar and open sides that can be closed due to the weather. There is a separate bar area inside and table service has always been very good too.

We started our meal wit' a couple cups of loaded gumbo, shrimp, crab and sausage....very tasty and loaded with lots of good-sized shrimp. My wife enjoyed a six count plate of coconut shrimp which I helped her with. She got sweet potato fries and hush puppies, all 5 stars. The fries must have looked good to our grandbaby because he snatched one off her plate while I was trying to take a picture of it. I was intrigued by the boudin burger, glad i ordered it because it was amazing. Half a pound of ground beef with boudin mixed in, cheese, lots of bacon, grilled mushrooms, jalapenos, avocado and pico de gallo. Came with fries and a couple onion rings. The fries were the only thing we tried that wasn't 5 stars. The service by Amaneigh L. was as good as the food.

Great night for a chill dinner and baseball. Came in to watch the Yankee game and have a good meal. The hostess allowed me to choose a seat of my choice and took my drink order to help with service. The waitress was promptly over and took my order. I enjoyed the game and my food was out maybe 15 min later. Overall this was a great experience and the red beans weren't bad.

Our good friends raved about this seafood place close to their home. It wasn't bad. I forgot to take pics of all of our food. We did order fried green tomatoes which was quite a generous serving for an appetizer as well as oysters. Their crawfish was small but full flavored. We also ordered fried catfish. Their drinks were pretty good!

First off let me say the customer service was very good. No complaints in regards to the staff members at all. But the crawfish was disappointing. I ordered three pounds of their original old bay seasoned crawfish with extra seasoning and two extra potatoes and one boiled egg. Let's start with the extra potatoes, I was told while placing the order it comes with one potato and one corn so I only ordered two more but as you can see by the picture there's only two. So I was charged for two more but only received one. Next the crawfish, there was no extra seasoning anywhere. It actually lacked seasoning! The flavor was horrible and gritty and there's no way old bay is used in this boil. The crawfish was a decent size and hot to touch so I will for sure give them that but the taste is nothing I would want to taste again. I also asked for garlic to be added to the boil but instead it was just sprinkled on top after everything was plated into the container. Do better bluewater. 4/10 overall.

Awesome seafood restaurant! Been there twice in the last few weeks. Ashley is an amazing server. Friendly and knew her dishes and flavors. The crawfish were fresh and well cooked. We went with the Bluewater OG seasoning - spicy and garlicky. Delicious flavors! The shrimp, corn, purists, andouille side were excellent too! The crab clusters were worth the additional charge. The blackened salmon dish was delicious and moist. The kid's meals were large for the 7 & 4 y/o children in the family. Clean inside and out. I like that they gave us bibs and gloves. There is a bucket and roll of paper towels to stay clean. They also had a bottle of the dry seasoning at the table. Parking lot has a paved portion and a gravel area for additional parking. We really enjoyed this place. We'll be back and quote recommend. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Bro was our waiter today and she didn't disappoint! She was so kind with us and took care of all our needs without us even having to ask. Drinks refilled and plates cleared out. She was really kind with our little girl as well! We will definitely ask for her next time we come. We ended up ordering crab and shrimp boil, calamari and the crawfish pistollete and it was all really amazing!

I ordered delivery, and the food arrived timely. I got the crawfish étouffée, and while both the food and service were great, I was disappointed by the tiny cup of rice that came with my meal. I expected a more generous portion, as rice is a key part of the dish.

The food was so delicious even the kids loved their kids meals. The service was amazing. It was packed and busy but well kept. Only thing I wish is that they would put out seasoning like they used to. It was a great scene, but can always add a little bit more.

Being originally from Mississippi, the "home" of catfish, this place has the best catfish I've had since I've been in Houston. It has a clean flavor which is hard to find and it's fried to perfection. There isn't the leftover, lingering oil or grease. The fries are *chef's kiss* Collectively my family and I had edamame, fries, fried shrimp, fried catfish, oyster poboy, bang bang shrimp, hushpuppies, sushi and coleslaw. There was not one thing we ordered that I would not order again. The amount of food you get for the cost is economical. For all of that food plus three sodas and a beer, our bill was right at $120. Not only is the food great but the service is just as great. It is not heavily staffed but you never feel like you're rushed or overlooked. The food is cooked to order so be prepared to wait for fresh food. Even with little staff and cook to order food, the wait isn't long at all. You can't go wrong with them! 10 out of 10

You could tell they soaked them pretty well, they were extremely juicy. We also ordered the fried pickle chips and they were bomb -- crispy, flavorful, and not too greasy. A great start to the meal. The oysters were another highlight. Good size, super fresh, and had that clean, briny snap that oyster fans will appreciate. Everything tasted like it came straight from the Gulf (in the best way). Service was spot on -- super attentive without hovering, and everyone was friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a fried platter. While he just thought it was ok, the seafood was fried perfectly. I personally liked his meal. Only downside? Seating was a bit limited, especially if you come during peak hours. All in all, good experience. Great food.

This place has been Mexican Restaurants and Seafood spots in the past but this time I think they finally nailed it. This catfish is served headless which is perfect and the flavors is one of the best whole catfish I've had in ALL of Houston. Yes even better than Captain Toms which is up the street. The shrimp fried rice was extremely good. Ranks as one of the better shrimp fried rice spots I've had outside of China town. Although its made up of popcorn sized shrimp, the flavor profile is phenomenal. Let me note that as a seafood spot they also have some great fajita and chicken alternatives for tacos and quesadillas. Including even a hamburger however I did not try them. The drinks from the bar are nicely balanced and the presentation of them are wonderful. The authenticity of this Mexican style seafood spot is on par and the flavors are perfect on the seafood items I've tried so far. Oh and the bathrooms are spotless and clean. That makes a major difference in eating establishments. This spot is definitely a staple in the area and I highly recommend this place over any other major chain Seafood spot. I've been eyeing the wings but the fish and chips have won on my debate on what to order for the last and only 3 times I was there. They have a full bar that's kept clean, 2 pool tables and 2 dart boards. The setup there is comfortable and easy to relax and mingle with other patrons. Oh and let me not forget to mention that it's completely Smoke Free. (Yeaaaahhhh!!!) They have Karaoke I believe on Thursdays and Steak Nights on Wednesday. Ive yet to try the steak night but it's certainly on my to do list ASAP. They do have beer of course but I must mention that they also have some IPA options unlike some of the other nearby pubs that barely carry just one. I have to admire a place that carry craft beer options for the patrons that want more than just the same ole beers they can have at home. Now what I like more about this place which keeps me coming back is the service and the ambience. It has that Cheers type of environment and welcoming feel that makes ya feel a bit homey. I also have to introduce the Cypress area to probably one of the best bartenders I've seen in all of Cypress and that's Tori. My last visit there she was running that entire bar "Alone". We came in with a group and decided to go all in--and I'm so glad we did because every single dish showed up and showed out. Let's start with the cheeseburger and fries--this wasn't your average bar burger. It was thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The kind of burger where every bite is flavorful and satisfying. And those fries? Golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside... basically impossible to stop eating. The shepherd's pie (full order) was pure comfort in a dish. Rich, savory meat layered with vegetables and topped with creamy mashed potatoes that were baked to a beautiful golden finish. It had that homemade, hearty feel that just hits different--especially when you're sharing with good company. Now the fish and chips... WOW. Light, crispy batter that didn't overpower the fish, which was flaky and tender inside. Not greasy, not heavy--just perfectly fried and paired with fries that held their crunch. Exactly what you want from a proper Irish pub. And let's talk about the wings--because we tried two kinds, including the Jameson wings, and they were next-level. The sauce had that smooth, slightly sweet, slightly bold whiskey flavor that made them stand out in the best way. Sticky, flavorful, and cooked just right. The other wings held their own too--great crisp, great sauce coverage, and packed with flavor. Beyond the food, one thing that always stands out to me is how clean and well-kept the place is. That matters--and Blue Rooster Irish Pub & Grill consistently delivers. It makes the whole experience feel comfortable, welcoming, and just easy to enjoy. Great food, great atmosphere, and a place that clearly takes pride in what they do.
