It was a nice place to relax for a bit. We have just gotten off our cruise and didn't have any plans since we've been to Cabo many times. Guac was very tasty and my limeade was refreshing. Only problem I encounter was when I went to the restroom before we left. My husband was able to go with no problems but the ladies' restroom was locked. I asked the hotel where the restroom was located (very nicely) and was told it was only for guests. I told them the waiter directed us here but the restroom was locked. The receptionist repeated it was only for guests. It wasn't until I said my husband used the restroom that he handed me a card to use the restroom. I returned it promptly and thank him. It was a little off putting. I can understand the ladies' restroom being locked for safety but I don't know why it was such a struggle to get him to let me use the restroom and only when I mentioned a husband did he allow me to use it. I don't want to make any negative comments based on my interaction with one person as our waiter was very nice but lesson learned is to be polite and persistent and you can usually get what you want. read more

Good for American food and cerveza...but nothing else I had read recommendations for Lighthouse in Cabos San Lucas and we wanted lunch before our whale watching expedition. I took one look at the restaurant and ordered a BLT and cerveza. The rest of my family made the mistake of ordering Mexican food and frozen cocktails. The BLT and cerveza were quite tasty, the Mexican food ranged from meh to OK, and the cocktails were abysmal - no fresh fruit had been harmed in the making of any of their beverages. But the atmosphere was perfect for our needs...it gave us a nice secluded and shaded spot from which to look out over the marina and wait for our boat trip. YMMV. read more

I brought my family here for a nice breakfast. They had no vegan options but that was ok- They did offer vegetarian though and had some options. This place is nice, the staff is kind and caring. I tried their avocado toast and their oatmeal. I was not disappointed. I also had a fruit bowl. Fresh pineapple, melon, blueberries, etc etc. Oh so yummy and satisfying. The coffee was good, the Orange juice was freshly squeezed. No complaints. I had a good time chatting with the staff and finding out about other places and different things to in Cabo San Lucas. They asked me what was I doing in Cabo; I shared that I would love to bring this style of restaurant to the High Desert. My goal is ultimately bring more diverse and multicultural businesses to the Apple Valley area and create an ability to draw tourism to all of us living here. We stayed at hotel tesoro for five days four nights and got the all inclusive package... This was one of the restaurants that was included. we ate here a few times that week and overall liked it a lot. This also seems to be a tourist favorite, especially with the cruise people! We regularly got la cart breakfast at the lighthouse restaurant since the hotel buffet wasn't the best. Breakfast was yummy and I really liked the atmosphere here. They had the birria tacos for breakfast and those were so delicious. I almost ordered them everyday but had to try the omelet and chilaquiles as well. I would stay stick to order the Mexican dishes, they were made well and had a lot more flavor and freshness than the regular American dishes. Everything comes well done. Specify if you want something cooked rare. They like it crispy here! Service is slow here. they usually only have two female waitresses. Not all the employees speak English so touch up on your Spanish! Covid protocols were enforced and all of the staff wore masks. read more

Since breakfast is included with our hotel stay at Tesoro, we decided to check out the LightHouse while we were here. The first time we dined here, we shared the Sarten Tesoro, chilaquiles, and some fruit. We were afraid that the food would take too long since we needed to go on a tour, but it was ready just in time to have a few bites. Both dishes were delightful and filling! The fruit was refreshing as well. Service was very friendly! I'm not sure what it is about Cabo, but we always got treated like VIP's and the staff always wanted a photo with us. Needless to say, we kept coming back to try more breakfast items during the rest of our stay. read more

Myself and several of my friends had the all-inclusive option at Tesoro for one week. This was one of the restaurants included. The food was great! I couldn't exactly target which one was the best as we had eaten there multiple times all that week. More importantly, the staff was superb. Ericka was a waitress that kept us coming. She was prompt in service, and both incredibly friendly and bubbly. Ericka also taught some of us non-Spanish speakers a bit of the language, que fantastico! read more

The drinks are delicious and the food is also wonderful. I think the chef from the pool restaurant might be the same as for this place - both are muy excelente. So so good. The staff is also really great. Not to be mean, but the creme brûlée needs help. I don't recommend that. read more

We are staying at the Tesoro las Cabo's and went down for dinner at the lighthouse grill tonight. We have really enjoyed our stay until this dinner. Our server Gregorio showed us a hand written wine menu. He said this was because of Covid they had a limited menu. We picked a $40 bottle of Pino Grigio. We wanted a nice white with our seafood dinner. When he brought the wine back to the table he had a different menu from the restaurant showing the price at $112 USD. He asked if this was ok. I said no thank you and my wife asked to see the hand written menu. The price of the wine had been scratched out and changed. This was our last night in Cabo and did not want to ruin our dinner so we changed to a $40 dollar bottle. We expect prices to be inflated staying in a tourist area but this was a blatant attempt to be scammed. The food was good but our entire experience was ruined. We will not be staying at this resort again because of this experience. If you are doing non all inclusive make sure you keep all receipts since we preferred to pay cash as we go... This restaurant service is 5/5. The waiter was so funny and made sure we received the best service. When my mom was in the sun they moved a whole entire umbrella for her to not get sun burnt. This to mean meant a lot because it shows they care about their guest comfort. The food was yummy! I went to this restaurant twice while in Cabo's! I got the pasta and shrimp tacos! So yummy! This restaurant is a definite 5 stars for me! It's the hotel restaurant for Tesoro Resort, but anyone can dine here. They're right on the Marina, so mostly nice, fancy-ish outdoor lounge seating. We came for dinner and they had bistro lights, soft rock music, candles lit up- GORGEOUS set up under the night sky. Service was spectacular. I felt like all three waiters/waitresses were attending to us. I like how they took their time to take out our main entrees while we slowly worked on our appetizer, and they brought us our wine with our dishes. We felt like we could have sat their all night and eat and drinks slowly. Everything was just very thought-out and I appreciate that kind of service. What we ordered: Appetizer: the octopus tower thing lol I forgot what it was called but you should TRY IT! This is our second time trying octopus and once again, it blew my mind. It tasted just like squid which I like, and it is complimented well by the avocado, tomatoes, and whatever else was in that tower. It was topped by a black crisp which made it look really fancy. Entrees: 1. Surf and turf tacos- my bf enjoyed this so much and so did I. Each taco is spilling with shrimp and steak and pickled veggies and cilantro and each bite bursts with so much flavors and sauce. Very high-end taco but still has that authentic Mexican taste. 2. (I forgot the actual name but it's) Bacon wrapped chicken- served over yummy saucy rice and zucchini and other veggies with crisps on top. YOU GUYSSSS- ONE OF THE BEST FOODS IVE EVER HAD. It was freakishly delicious right from the first bite. I'm drooling just typing this. The bacon of course can never go wrong, and it was wrapped around perfectly cooked and moist chicken, and the rice was in this green sauce (not pesto) that was very buttery, saucy, just overall so tasty! I highly recommend this dish! It came with three pieces of chicken, enough for us to share (along with the tacos) Excellent food and service! Our first night at Cabo San Lucas we wanted to try this restaurant. It was next to our hotel. Service was super slow. It took about 20 minutes to order and took another 40 minutes to get fajitas and burger. They forgot to bring water, spices and stuff. Each time we had to wait for 20 minutes to get the stuff we asked for. Taste of the food was not really good either. I was between 2 and 3 stars. Giving 3 because stuff was nice and atmosphere of the restaurant was good. I don't think I will go and eat there again. read more

Just loved the new menu! There isn"t t a single dish that is not near perfect. Very original too, the gourmet tacos, the eggplant lasagna, the tamarind bbq ribs, and ohhh the hibiscus crusted fish fillet over creamy rice is amazing, the desserts, and even the Caesar sakad we ordered is unique, the prices by far are the lowest in all of the Cabo marina . This is the place to go. Not a new place, but just now on Yelp!!! My husband and I had a terrific breakfast at the Lighthouse. Located right on the marina, it's the perfect location for people watching and observing all of the activity around the yachts and fishing boats. With large orange umbrellas shading us, we were served delicious food and generous servings, too!!! We were very impressed by the new lunch and dinner menu!!! It had items that are not the regular run-of-the mill and sure to become favorites. We suggest you try out the new menu at the Lighthouse at the best harbor location in all of Cabo San Lucas!!! Gave it 2 stars because they did make a decent margarita.... but the food was not great. I ordered BBQ ribs assuming they would be BBQ'd.... these seemed like they were boiled with BBQ sauce slapped onto them. Was also looking forward to the corn on the cob since I've had great sweet corn here in Cabo.... but that was very dry and flavorless. Also, we weren't originally going to stop in as we were just peeking at the menu... an employee came over and begged us to come in, saying "the service here is not very good but the food is excellent!" Should've taken that as a sign, as they also took forever to get around to us each time we needed something. read more

Amazing! We are Vegan and we hunted for a place to eat. Alexis assured my family they could make something special for us. We had veggie tacos, veggie fajitas, tortillas, guacamole,salsa, it was the best meal we ate while in Cabo. Alexis and the team where so helpful and really went out the way to provide us excellent service. He was charismatic and educational (especially about keeping our plant clean) needless to say I will never use a straw again to protect our plant. Thanks for that information. Extremely slow service. We waited over 20 min for our waiter to take our order. We were finally able to wave down another waiter but he was so rude we left without ordering. There was only 1 other party at the resturant and they were as frustrated as we were with the waiting. There are a ton of other options for food and drinks in the area. Go elsewhere! read more

As a visitor...this place is horrible. Waiter convinced us to come eat with drinks. The drinks were great...the wait sucked big time. I ordered a burger and friend order lobster...I would say 30 mins later the waiter went missed...ghost! I decided to check on our food order...you ready for this one! Our food was never being prepared...burger wasn't on the grill neither the grilled lobster. The chef was like a deer in head lights. I was looking forward to that burger. We had our lunch here and was served by Walter. First for drinks, I had corona beer while Walter recommended a lime margarita for my wife, she liked it. For the food; I ordered a Tuna Sashimi appy with a wrapped cesar salad as my main entree. My wife had their succulent Lucas burger with garlic fries. The hamburger was average. The cheese was cheap American slice. The tomatoes paper thin. The margaritas bad!! They are from a mix. With fresh limes bring the number one citrus in Mexico why would anyone use a mix. And a bad one at that. The waiter asked me how was lunch. I told him in a polite way not worth the walk.
