I thought it was an odd lol but I love to shop local businesses. So this was right up my alley on being able to support a local business. I was told of several places that were open with shorter hours for today. Dockside Seafood was my first stop and they had everything I needed.... BUT I didn't feel appreciated by them following me around the very small store like I was going to steal something. So I asked the guy (wearing a white meat market over coat) for a spice that I was looking for while standing right in front of it. He didn't have the answer. So that was some BS. Why are you standing 8ft away acting like you're looking for something when you aren't? I don't know if their local community hurts their business by stealing or not. But if that's the case then they should have cameras. They only have two very short aisles (similar to a gas station).

I traditionally make baked stuffed lobsters…read moreon Memorial Day Weekend and this year, with six of us partaking, it was especially important to find lobsters that were high-quality and reasonably priced. I found both at Andrade's. I always shop around, and Andrade's prices were great - significantly lower than anything I could find in the area. The lobsters were properly feisty and Nick was very helpful, selecting six two-pounders for us with equal-width tails. (Important for presentation!) I remove the claws, par boil them, and add the meat to the stuffing. (An old trick I learned from Jed Hanley's Fore 'n Aft back in the day.) Although the claws' shells were thick, and actually required a hammer to crack them, I don't think I've ever gotten so much meat. I also bought a pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and a pound of excellent, fresh and sweet scallops for the stuffing. This year's result was among the best I've made. Thanks to Nick, David and all the staff at Andrade's for your help. We'll see you soon.

I got some pics of outside and then went in. First thing off the bat was the smell in there. No fishy smell at all from this place which should be the first thing if you smell that smell iis to walk right out. It just smelled like fresh seafood! Now I know somewhat about crabs but I was told to get crabs legs so asked a very polite worker behind the counter and they pointed to the freezer case in the corner of the store. I grabbed 2 clusters of snow crab legs and just started looking around the store in general to see what they had. They had a great selection of fresh and frozen seafood, They had stuffies, and other prepared items. They can even cook you fresh lobsters there for you too! Over all a great mom and pop shop which was super clean inside for all your seafood needs! Great place and can't wait to go back and try some stuffies!
