I got to taste two different wines before choosing and as first time guests we received a complimentary peach cobbler which was outstanding! But the highlight of the experience was a visit from the business owner, Mr. Lane, who sat down and asked about our story and told us all about his family and how he got to where he is today. The ginger sauce for the seaweed salad was thin, watery and lacked ginger taste. But was tangy. The seaweed was placed atop iceberg lettuce with halved grape tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. Most places dont asd seweed to a tossed salad. Dumplings are steamed. Just ok. Crab Rangoon was crunchy, but filling was tepid. As if apps were made first, then sat while the hibachi was made. Hibachi was dry. No sauce/broth per se. Had to add yum yum sauce and soy sauce. The other Sauces were also thin and tangy, no distinct differences. One TV with a sports channel on. Clean, quiet environment. Could hear a fan but didn't feel as if AC was on. We had to leave, it was uncomfortable to eat in. We will try other options next time, but as carryout.

When I walked in, the employee preparing my food was on the phone the entire time and had a rude attitude. I asked about the oxtail lunch special because I hadn't been there in a while and couldn't remember the portion sizes. Although the menu listed the lunch special from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for $15.55, it wasn't clear which size the special applied to. I assumed the special price applied regardless of the size. Instead of explaining the options, the employee rushed me to choose a size while still talking on the phone. When she brought my two plates to the register, they were both large, and my total came to about $55. I wasn't upset about paying the price--I was upset because I had specifically asked about the lunch special first. When I questioned the total, she rolled her eyes, caught an attitude, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. At that point, I no longer wanted to spend my money there, so I walked out. It didn't matter that there were other customers behind me. All that needed to happen was for her to explain the special or switch my meal to the correct size if I misunderstood. Instead, I was met with poor customer service and a disrespectful attitude. That's why I decided to leave.
