One of the best House Steak Sandwiches I ever had!.... Here"s why: This is a small, no-frills spot that serves all the classics: subs, salads, and even teriyaki chicken plates. Nothing fancy, but it is clean and comfortable, exactly what you want from a neighborhood sandwich shop. The woman at the counter took my order, and even though I was the only person there when I walked in, I got in right before lunch. The wait was about ten minutes and it was worth it... When the steak sandwich came out, I was impressed right away. It was big, hot, and loaded. The bread was toasted just right, giving it a crisp bite without being too hard. The steak was tender and juicy, cooked in a sauce that gave it a unique flavor and texture I have never had in a steak sandwich before. Honestly, it might be one of the best I have ever had. It came packed with lettuce, mushrooms, avocado, tomato, peppers, and all the right ingredients. Every bite had the perfect mix of big portion tender meat, fresh toppings, and crunchy bread Captain's Sub Shop feels like a hidden gem. It is small, not crowded, and probably not a place a lot of people know about. Those are usually the best places, and this one definitely was. I will be coming back to try something different next time.

If you claim that you are famous for your philly cheestakes know how to make them. I was driving by and saw the PHILY CHEESESTEAK banner by the road and decided to stop by. This is a small eatery that tries to please everyone with all types of food in the menu. Getting inside It smelled old and the air was stale. The table cover was sticky where I was sitting. The price of $12 was ok and the service was fast. What I got was not looking great. I ate one half and threw it in the trash can. Huge chunks of onions, doughy bread and the overall taste was mediocre at best. At 9am it was empty and the Yelp age was not claimed by the business which says a lot. Not recommended

I'm addicted to their Phillycheese subs. Love the bell peppers, mushroom, cheese, steak and mayo on the bread. The sub is so soft and fresh. Cooked to order. The owner is so thoughtful, nice and polite. I just hate that they close so early and closed on weekends. I always have my husband and kids stop by to get me food because I'm always off when they are closed.

Food was pretty good. I got a 6 inch Philly cheese stake sub fries and a drink. It was pretty good and hot when I received it. Fries was hot and crispy. Totally will come back

I love the cheesesteak sandwiches here. My only problem with this place is they are not open 24 hours a day so I can get one anytime I want.

I was intrigued when I saw a spot that I had never heard of with a good yelp rating, I had to check it out. After reading a few of the reviews, and looking at the photographs I was sold. The Antidote delivery was close by, but let me tell you I had difficulty finding it. I want to make sure that others are aware of the challenge because it is definitely worth it. The issue is the signage. I was confident when I walked in and told Arthur, the gentleman behind the counter, that there was no sign, indicating Antidote Delivery, he politely corrected me. It turns out that next to the "market" sign there is an exclamation mark Which shows antidote delivery. My eyes went right over it and I never saw it, as a result I found myself circling around, trying to find the correct location. Once you find it, you may be hesitant to enter thinking that this is just a liquor store. In fact, this market has been here for 25 years and they prepare a fresh submarine sandwich that is delicious. So here is what you need to know upfront, the ambience is not desirable, so plan on a takeout. But if you're looking for a local business with a fresh delicious submarine sandwich, I would give this a try. Arthur was very kind to explain that they do deliveries within 5 miles for $2.99. So if you live within 5 miles you can order your sandwich and have it delivered. It's convenient because it's also a liquor store. You can order anything else at the same time and have that included for that nominal fee. It's always nice to support local places, this feels like a family business but I didn't ask so I'm not sure. One thing I'm certain of, I will be returning.

It's been around for decades and has served tons of patrons over the years. Inside is huge with all sorts of tables and booths so it can host many different sized groups from small to large. It's located in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking attached directly in front, which is extremely convenient. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. For this visit, I started off with a cup of the Chili and thought it was actually really good. I am a huge fan of chili and don't often get some that I really love, but this was definitely one of those. Next came the Mini Blintzes and these were pretty nice. I prefer a full Blintz because it has a lot more cheese and filling, but still these were a nice start, especially if are were new to this appetizer. For my entrée, I chose the Pastrami Reuben and thought it was great. It was honestly huge and I even forgot to take a picture of it because I was excited to eat it. I would suggest if you are a fan of Rubens and would suggest this restaurant in general if you like a good deli.

People were friendly and service was fairly quick. Overall, the sandwich was really well done. The fresh rye bread was so lovely. It was crispy crunchy and had a nice toastiness to it. The meat was flavorful, not too salty, and moist. And the sauerkraut added a nice crunchy tang. All in all, the sandwich was delicious and devoured in under 20min. It was plenty for both my husband and I to share a single sando. For the sides, the steak fries needed a lil salt but otherwise a decent filler side. The slaw was creamy and crisp and very refreshing. The pickles were a little under pickled and tasted a lil more cucumber-y than we'd like. Overall a solid experience and we'd visit again when we're back in the area.
