    Super Special

Had breakfast at Kountry Folk because I was dropped off a tad early to pick up my car. First, the smiling, friendly welcome, which is truly appreciate at 6:30 in the morning. Many delicious choices on the menu. Had the Super Special. Great food. Everything was perfectly cooked. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. Service was excellent. Sat at the counter. It was quiet with a few local customers at the time. Will certainly be back the next time my car is in for a service. Note: surcharge for card use, which seems to be becoming the norm. Great experience. Friendly service. Delicious food. Good value.

It's hard to find a solid breakfast burrito at 6am so when I find one I make sure everyone knows. Burrito had bacon and sausage with a good amount of soft, well cooked potatoes and the ingredients were blended together. Red salsa was hot, and the coffee is good. Service is prompt and pleasant.

Good southern breakfast spot! If you are hungry this is the place you need to be. Prices were not bad for the amount of food you receive. The omelette was scrumptious full of flavor and ingredients as well as the flapjacks. They were so big you can't even call them pancakes, they were fit for a lumberjack. The waitress was very friendly and comforting to talk with. This place is an old school diner style so it's not easy on the eyes but if you're there for the food the aesthetics shouldn't matter.

Talk about a diamond in the rough, this place is a hidden job as you walk in your greeted with friendly people, friendly servers. The menu as well thought of it's an American diner with a twist. The coffee is great considering it is a coffee shop. The ambience suits the name of the place. I'm still waiting for my food which I'm going to do an additional review for I just wanted to give them credit now for were credit is due.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch! The scrambled eggs and home fries were super tasty, I also tried the sandwich with fries fresh, flavorful, and filling. Friendly service and chill vibes. Definitely coming back!

This was exactly the kind of place we were looking for! Diner style greasy spoon with table service and real plates! Good prices and a large menu. Loved it! Christopher was a very attentive and polite server who took good care of us. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items. The tater tots are the perfect crispiness by the way!

    Super Special Breakfast

The food was delicious and decently priced! The coffee was good as well and appreciated the waitress for giving me plenty of cream and sugar. The waitress was really nice and helpful. I really liked the country theme of the interior of the restaurant which is always a good home like feel.

A great place to have breakfast with the family, so much we've become regulars. It's so nice when they recognize and welcome you in. Yes, the parking lot can feel a bit sketchy but we've never had any problems and we come with our 4 year old that we are super protective of. Come support a small business versus a big breakfast chain, you won't be disappointed.

So far so good. My blushing bride and I are trying out Kountry Folks Restaurant after many years of wanting to eat here but never doing so. Classic diner menu and kind greeting by the friendly staff. Very noisy kitchen is the entertainment system and it's freezing cold inside. Clean as a whistle, though, and full of regulars. The coffee got compliments from my blushing bride, as did the Christmas mug. Oddly, the Health Department shutdown yesterday is being reported to customers as "closed for the day to shoot a movie". It seems that both are true. But the B rating isn't prominently posted at the entrance. The food... big portions and completely acceptable diner food. Good value for the money. The pork chops were great; I even gnawed on the bones! It's just a shame that the environment was really uncomfortable.

Within two weeks of regular orders, the owner Efren called me personally. They were out of my almond croissants, so he stayed late, made a batch himself, and dropped them off on his way home. The food is excellent -- salads, sandwiches, quesadillas, pastries -- and I routinely get two to three days' worth for fifty dollars. I put a pick up order on Uber eats and I gave them lots of time to make it, I went about 10 minutes after my pick up delivery time so that I can make a fast pick up on my way to work, there was a huge line When I got inside and when the cashier was done taking someone's order, I just said hi I'm here to pick up my order, and he scored me in front of all of the customers said that I had to get in the back of the line until I talk to him to pick up an order that was already READY! I'm never coming here again, the food isn't worth it to have to wait in line to pick up some thing that I already ordered, that's the point of ordering!!! This is the dumbest policy since this place is notorious for being slow! This guy is the worst at his job, because he actually kept stalling the line by telling me to get in the back of the line, when it would've been faster to ask me my name and just pass me the bag. He obviously can't multitask, and that's not a restaurant that I want to go to.! I don't have all day to pick up a breakfast burrito, and not to mention, there's never parking in the parking lot, and my car was double parked. Not worth it the hassle!!!

Our waiter, Marcus, was so kind and attentive. We told him it was our first time visiting, and he happily told us that pretty much everything is made fresh in house. We all pretty much went for lunch food, but wanted to sample the housemade sausage so we ordered a spicy turkey patty to share. It was so flavorful! I went halfsies with a patty melt/curly fries and a cajun chicken sandwich/regular fries. I was easily able to swap the rye for sourdough and jack for American cheese. It was hard to pick a favorite, but I think the patty melt won for me! It was perfectly grilled, delightfully melty, and so juicy. And the curly fries are definitely worth the $0.35 uncharge. We were in and out pretty quickly, but now I just want to go back to explore more of the menu. Such a gem!

You might ask. Why the 1 star review. Well.... I ordered chilaquiles. The ones that come with green and red salsa.. i wanted to see which salsa was better. Green salsa is a beautiful flavor tangy lil spicy well seasoned. But it was just green salsa poured over chips.. not incorporated and cooked together. The red salsa was well seasoned spicy and smokey. Not sure if they uses chile morita or Chipotle. Same thing salsa just poured over chips.. i mean I can enjoy some crispy chilaquiles but that was just straight up chips and salsa. The beans on the side were also really good. The "steak" was carne picada.. and honestky it was a bit hard. My chilaquiles did not come with cheese or crema . So I asked the waitress if they weren't supposed to come with . She was very apologetic and brought ke some on the side... ummmmm. Didnt taste the same as it would've already been added to the plate. Then. While I was eating the chips with salsa on my plate I pull it of the plate and what do I see. A freaking nasty ass hair!! honestly its been hrs since I left and im still queasy. I called over one of the waitresss that was available and she said it was from the egg. Ummmmm seriously. From the egg. It was about 5inches long. How could it be from the egg. She freaking passed me off. Whe she saw my face she said she was gonna call her supervisor who was the waitess that I had from the start. She was super embarrassed and apologized.. she took my plate to the back and in fact came back to say it was a hair. "If I wanted anything else".. ummmm hell no!!! I know shit has to to with cheese and and wasn't good t3t£appens .. but damn. 1st no sour cream and cheese in my food.
