Great new spot in Southern California. Stopped in and asked what the most popular sandie was and they recommended the Mr. Pickles. Instant classic! It's a warm chicken sandwich with pickles, bacon, lettuce and a rich & creamy sauce. I got the combo with a fountain drink and a bag of chips. They surprised us with the chocolate chip cookie! After a 10% tip, it set me back about $22 bucks for everything. The sandwich was rather large and heavy so you can technically split it with someone. Okay let me tell you that this place will change the way you think about chain sandwich shops. Starting with Eli here at the Van Nuys location. He was tremendously welcoming and helped me ultimately decide on the Cj Pastrami with the crunch bread. I swapped the mustard for mayonnaise and added a side of their garlic sauce. Ordered 30 sandwiches for ST week. I asked Dom to put them in boxes cut in halves with cookies, mayo... Without hesitation he said okay. I'm apart of their rewards app program and I love it. Its polly been 2 or 3 months since I signed up and I received 1 free cookie, 2 sandwiches, and one macaroni salad. There are always deals: $5 sammie deals, bogo deals and most recent deal 3 visits and get free whole sandwich until Oct 5th. The weird part is you don't see the deals on their app sometimes but it's on their direct website. My work orders from here a lot because it's down the street from the hospital. Sometimes it gets so busy that it takes awhile for our order to be ready but service is always great. My fav is their Dutch crunch bread. First off let me tell you I am obsessed. It's a little bitty place so don't blink because you'll miss it! Amazing sandwiches choices wow so many things to choose from! It's so nice and clean, brightly lit and everyone was super friendly. I ordered the BLT on wheat, it's what I was craving after my hike. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. My favorite chain sandwich shop is Jersey Mikes, and I was in the area and someone suggested I try this place, so here I am. They have a very extensive menu and I tried The Hero, which includes turkey, roast beef, and ham. I don't like ham, and as they were making the sandwich, they called over to me and asked if I'd like to make that up with more rb and turkey. That was very much appreciated that they reached out proactively like that. They have several different bread choices and the sandwich was really good. Tasted fresh not processed, and the veggies were fresh and crisp too. They topped it off with a free cookie and that was really good too! A very friendly crew and lots of parking out front. I've had the Truly Vegan in the "Sammie" size as well as the "Whole," their house salad and of course all the pickles I can handle. I really, really wanted to like my first try with this place more than I did. The Mama Mia, meatballs and salami and cheese with marinara, was just OK - not quite as flavorful or stuffed with ingredients as I had hoped. My wife's Mrs Pickles garnered a similar reaction, though the amount of meat and veggies was better with this one. One culprit may have been the Dutch Crunch bread choice, which was a bit too sweet - I would choose a different bread next time. Price is just a bit high too - $24 for 2 "sammies" which are the mid size option. The cookie included with each sandwich is a nice touch. I'll probably give this place a second chance, but I'll try something different next time. read more

I love how they offer so much variety of sandwiches, between hot, cold and even wraps. You can choose from the different breads and sizes you can get. The Dutch bread was so delicious and so unique I love the crunch and sweetness. Something I've never had before. The ingredients are fresh and I love that the works include mayo, mustard, garlic sauce, onion, pickle, pepperoncini and lettuce. I would like if they could add a little more toppings next time. I'll make sure to ask for this. All the sandwiches are custom made to your liking. I love pickles and I loved their cookie. My go to right now is the Listen Linda, I've had it on the Dutch bread and in the wrap. The owner was really nice and I plan on coming back, wish they were a little closer to me. Mr. Pickle's has been open just a month or so now in the shopping plaza off of Sherman Way and Sepulveda Blvd. Finally decided to give them a shot and took some lunch for my wife at work. Since it's relatively new, the interior of the sandwich shop is still sparkly clean (here's hoping that lasts!). You order at the counter and wait for your sandwich to be ready. Not knowing what to get, I ordered the Italian while wifey got the BLAT. Sandwiches came out in a reasonable amount of time (got lucky and arrived just before the lunch rush). The BLAT is a triple decker with bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato - must try if you're an avocado lover! The sandwich was huge for my better half so she could only finish half. There's 3 sizes for the other sandwiches - mini, sammie (regular), and whole (large). I got the Italian sammie size - originally I thought it looked pretty small, but it turned out to be just the right size for me as they really stuffed the sandwich! Tummys/appetites may vary. Overall we really liked Mr. Pickle's and will definitely be back to try more of their menu! Friendly employees, clean shop, good sandwiches, and free cookies are included with every sandwich (a nice and soft dessert). I didn't anticipate having Mr Pickles today but that removes bias from us both. My work grabbed us a bunch of sandwiches and I had a MR PICKLE on Dutch Crunch- You guys executed flawlessly. This is my new favorite sandwich shop. Came here after watching some videos about this place. And boy was I not let down!! We had the Italian combo with the Dutch crunch. Pretty good sandwiches for a quick fast food stop. It's definitely better than subway or jersey mikes. Especially the quality of the bread. But I wouldn't say it compares to a nice deli. The service, though, was really disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for just two sandwiches, and this is supposed to be a fast food place. If you're taking a quick lunch break, that kind of delay is frustrating. Here's a little update review for Mr. Pickles. I've become slightly addicted to their pastrami sandwich - I get it with mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles and it arrives nice and hot and it's really good. The so-called pastrami at Subway is too fatty and gross. This pastrami has no fat at all. I order via DoorDash, by the way. I've had the pastrami about six times already and now I want one for later today. This is what happens with a slight addiction. The large sandwich is a bit pricey, but I don't care as long as the quality is there and so far they're batting a thousand for quality. read more

First time here and I gotta say food is so delicious and you can tell the ingredients are fresh.

Don't know if I've always cared for the way sandwiches get delivered in the current landscape of hyper gig/third party culture. It's been mostly fine - don't think I have much to complain about in this area...but I still feel funny about it. Moving along, Mr. Pickle's sandwich game was even and erred on favorable. The amount of choices was pleasantly overwhelming on the DoorDash app. I was certain I wanted to try at least two items to get a fuller picture of what I got me and my wife into on a Saturday evening. I got the Sammie-sized (medium length) Della's Deli: Dutch crunch roll, turkey, salami, ham and cheddar with "the works" dressings. A mini Meatball: French roll, onions and traditional dressings. Wife got the chopped salad. For relative market price, my sandwiches felt generous - if not - more than the reasonable minimum for meat and cheese. The Della did. Think the meatball sub was constrained to typical-ness because of its mini size. Back to the Della - the cheese and meat tasted fresh, the veggie dressings were crisp, and the Dutch roll had a ton of integrity to its structure after delivery. The chopped salad tasted fine, according to my wife. She could have used more lettuce to add to the entree's meat-heavy body, but that seemed like a happy problem to me. I'm actually pumped to expand our local food map of reliable eats with one more sandwich place. That only makes two spots for me. Maybe three. So Mr. Pickle's is doing a decent job of occupying a lofty space. read more

It is so clean here, rock music playing in the background, awesome vibes! Staff is friendly and welcoming upon walking into the place. It was not crowded inside and plenty of seating available. They have two restrooms as well. I ordered the CJ's pastrami, it has pastrami meat, Swiss, mustard and pickles. I customized mine and added mayo and onions on the Dutch crunch roll. The "Sammie" is the about the same length as the side of your hand, on average, so it's not a huge sandwich. I really liked the bread I picked out it has a hint of sweet in it and made my sandwich taste good. OMG, it was pretty delicious! I loved the texture/crunch the pickles provided in each bite, the mayo and mustard mixed, along with the pastrami meat, and the onions enhances the flavors overall. The only tip, they did add a bit too much mayo and I hope they reconsider adding more pastrami meat in the sandwich. I also ordered a dill pickle and it was so crunchy and decent size. Finally, it came with a chocolate chip cookie which was an awesome way to end my meal. I definitely recommend this unique sandwich spot when you want to try something new. Hello, fellow Yelpers! I was in the area and had a craving for a sandwich. I did what I normally do in theses situations and went to my trusty Yelp App. It gave me several options but after looking at all of them, I chose this place. I walked in and the place was pretty busy. Workers were taking orders from the counter and from the app. The place was clean and the workers were friendly. One thing right off the bat I liked about this place, is that anyone of the workers can take your order. There's no one person in charge of the register. Which means you don't have to wait long. Now for the important information. The sandwiches look legit. They have several options for bread, cheese and toppings. I went with their Mr. Pickles on a Dutch Crumb bread. Let me tell you that this bread is like nothing I have ever had. Not from Subway, Jerseys Mike's, or other mom and pop sandwich spots. The sandwich was amazing. AMAZING! Flavors were all over the place. It was warm, the bread was crunchy and well, just everything was on point. I was driving so I didn't take a picture of my sandwich, but take my word for it you're not going hungry with the whole. They have three sizes, whole, Sammie, and mini.
