On my recent visit with a brand-new Cadillac, they drained the oil and then told me I needed to replace the oil drain plug for $15. This struck me as odd, since I've owned 15 new cars and never once been told that before. I questioned the manager, but she insisted it was necessary or at least highly recommended for safe operation. Later, two Cadillac mechanics confirmed that my plug was in perfect condition and only ever needs replacement if damaged. The part itself costs around $1.25, so being pressured into a $15 charge felt dishonest. When I called back, the manager acknowledged my loyalty but said the general manager refused to issue a refund. To me, this looks like a predatory upsell and not genuine customer service. After years of trust, I can no longer recommend this shop.

It had been over 3 1/2 hours when I arrived back at Walmart. The woman at the auto desk said they haven't even started. I am writing this at 2:15pm and it's still not done. I will never go here again for auto. Go anywhere else and you will get better service. Even the Walmart Auto in Turlock has better service.
