I bought a car from here less than a year ago and had to go to emission testing and found my OB2 was missing. The emission tester instructed me to go back to the lot and have it reinstalled, Upon arriving on Tuesday January 16. 2024 I was told by someone pretending to be the manager that they was not fixing it. I explained to him that I had experience working at a dealership and that was a safety issue, he proceeded to tell me that the the part was not necessary because it was smog only. That's how i knew he didn't know what he was talking about, that's the most important part. This the only way to get codes and find out what's wrong. Long story short I went to the Secretary of State and they referred me to the secretary of state police because they handle shady car lots. I am rewriting this review again since my last one was deleted, but I have been doing some reviews of this and seen in other reviews online as them being overpriced and not forthright in explaining things when it comes to the vehicles that they sell. I have also seen cars there that were several thousands less and even more they seem to get them as trade ins from people who want a car that costs less. I live near this location and pass by it all the time. They seem very good at putting the most upscale car on the commercial, but having a look in person it's not what its cracked up to be because some of the cars don't look all that great and some of them even have high mileage on them which can put them as a high financial risk because you will at some point will have to spend money keeping it fixed up. Not to mention you don't know the full history of a car. For example if you were at a major dealership they at least will provide you a detailed history of that car(s) through carfax or Vehix.com. I found some other reviews on Yahoo not too long ago and a couple of them were not exactly pleasant, and the sad thing is that they're marked high with an A+ with the BBB and the only problem is that their website is crap because they're supposed to have a list of their available cars and when you go and click on the link you get an error message. This is anyone's guess as to how reliable the information is and how much they invest in a reputable website.I emailed them for some information about a car I just happened to see on their commercial and got NO response which also says a lot for how they treat potential customers. If I was going to do business with a place I would expect them to at least respond to a customer inquiry. I have passed by this place for years and seen the cars they have which some of them are not worth the money if they're priced higher than the car's real bluebook value for that year. My advice to anyone looking for a car don't go to Car Credit Center's website it's crap and you won't get a response and don't waste your time since many places along Western Avenue tend to have shady dealerships that are waiting to sell you a worthless lemon with problems. I was not interested in being sweet talked by some slick salesman, I was there to look at possibly buying a car and a friend happened to be with me when she was looking and wasnt impressed with the sales tactic so we left and went to the dealership next door where she got her car from. Shop around and research before you put the signature or any money down on a car. Always check first hand about credit and financing so you don't get locked into a contract you can't get out of since places like these live for them. Having owned a car it's amazing how slick salespeople like to take advantage of women because of their "lack" of knowledge and experience in buying things like cars. To all the newbies getting their first car read everyting in your agreements and ask a lot of questions because car dealerships don't want problems for selling a lemon. Again, I have had to go to "the bank" as stated in my contract, which is not a bank at all but a bond company, who will cut your car off at given time apparently, because THEY dont know how to read a pay check stub. I get paid 2x a month not every other week. I am so done with this car, this company, "the bank"! Please dont use them!! My tip is.....don't waste your time or money. They tell you one thing and do another. The "finance" company is THEM just with a different name and location and they have no problem cutting your car off without notice! These people are scum! They sold me a Chevy Malibu for 24k and the blue book value for this 04 car was under 3k!!! I was Naïve to the purchasing of cars so I didn't know any better. Within that year I had to get an emissions test and it would t pass, I couldn't afford the repairs so I had to return the car. I went to CAR MAX and was approved with a warranty on my vehicle. DO NOT GO HERE!! Hello Joann, I wouldn't make this up. The car was sold for 24k but was worth 3k this was not my finding but the finance company's finding who had to sale the car at auction. Car Credit Center is a great place to buy a quality used vehicle. The vehicles are clean, in great condition, and have relatively low mileage. I purchased a vehicle here for my significant other as an anniversary gift and worked with Tony who was very patient. He helped me find the perfect car to fit my budget despite my initial reluctance. I probably took up about 2 hours of his time but he stuck with me, answered all of my questions, and helped me to feel confident about my purchase. I highly recommend you work with him. His cubicle is immediately to the left of the front entrance. As you read other reviews please take into consideration that the sales people as well as the loan specialists are very transparent about the terms of each sale. It was made very clear to me by Tony as well as Zuri, who helped me with the loan docs, that any late payments would result in the car being disabled by the lender. There is even a document that I signed to acknowledge that I understood this. This is a business, and they deserve to be paid for their products and services, so it really is a shame that people drag them on here and give low ratings not because they had a bad experience or faulty vehicle, but because there were consequences for failure to meet the terms of the sales agreement. Overall great experience! But this is a place I went to because I have awful credit and am rebuilding my credit so I am paying way way over what I should be paying for a car. But this will help me build my credit. If your in a situation where other dealerships won't approve you, this is a great place to go. They say you will need only $500 for a deposit but I ended up paying $1500 so plan for that. And the deal is this type of place is if you don't make your payments on time they turn your car off until you make your payment, so it's a good motivation to pay on time and not get behind but a bit scary to just have your car turned off if your are a day late- only going by other reviews if your a day late. read more

I should have stuck with Car Credit Center The bus driver opened the door and I stepped directly on to the North lot of Car Credit Center Where I was warmly greeted by a smile and a handshake from Mike Alba. Mike asked if I had a car in mind which I did to a certain degree but was willing to look outside of that at anything besides a Chinese or Japanese import. I walked the lot a short distance and didn't see much while Mike stated we have cars on the other side but let's go in and see what we can get you financed for. I wasn't really expecting miracles as I have only been on my job 6 months and my credit score though it was not the worst; certainly wasn't the best (620) We walked in an went through the usual preliminaries of providing personal and verifying job information after which I was introduced to Oscar Rodriguez who took me out to walk the other end of the lot. Most of the cars that really appealed to me were not for sale as" they had no title for them" I was allowed to test drive SEVERAL cars before narrowing down my choice to 3 two of which were cars I was adamantly against. A Hyundai Sonata, a Kia Sorento and a Ford Fusion. I finally settled on the Hyundai because it was the prettiest...hey I'm still a girl at heart. Anyway the car was very nice: dual climate control, leather seats, power everything and a decent sound system. It drove very well. It was a quiet, comfortable ride with know visible physical or internal damage. Of course now was the moment of truth; the financing..Danny was a very cheerful person who apparently enjoyed his job. He explained to me just what I said in the beginning: my credit was far from being the worst he'd seen but it wasn't the best however Danny worked the price down (a little) and also adjusted the finance rate down to 15% to which I relunctanly agreed since I was tired of riding the bus. Unfortunately, shortly after signing I changed my mind afterall I'd came in on the bus I could just go back on the bus because I just don't fell comfortable with that rate and especially not with a brand of car that I was adamantly against. Danny calmy: said I understand and tore up the contract. However, two days later I went to another dealership on Western and was given a much higher rate with no sympathy at all. However, thinking back Danny explained how Car Credit Center has been in the business for many many years and now I understand why. The aren't really selling cars they are selling credit which in actuality is harder to get than a car. I recommend (if you don't want a co-signet) and you don't have great credit or a friend in the business to go ahead and Use Car Credit Center. Danny was the absolute most straight forward of them all which might be because He has less to lose since his income isn't based on how much the car sells for nor whether you buy or not. I read a lot of reviews before coming here. But you have to read between the lines. Of course if you buy a 10 year old car used car and don't maintain it, it's going to break down. Buying my car was quick and easy. I was approved and on the road in two house. My sales person was Phil Green. He made things very easy. I did leave the lot in a 2016 Maxima. I drove fine during the test drive but something didn't feel right when I was driving later on that night. I called Phil right away. They offered to fix the car or put me in any other car on the lot. I went back and picked out a 2016 Altima. There was a few things I asked them to repair, which they paid for. Felix, the finance guy was funny and helpful. He suggested ways to improve my credit while I was signing all the paperwork. I had a great experience here so far.
