We had a great car buying experience with Hamid. We bought a 2016 Toyota Prius Three from him for our son. It was straight to the point no up sells or time wasting strategies. He was the third dealership we went to that day and the easiest to work with. I should have gone to him first. What I got back was rudeness and a message telling me to basically take a hike! Everything looked and sounded great on the truck, however, the very next day after I purchased the vehicle, it started leaking engine coolant. When I told Ali it was leaking coolant, he immediately insisted on bringing the vehicle back and having his mechanic take a look at it. At no extra cost or hassle, Ali had the leak fixed within two days of purchasing the truck. It turned out to only be a bad Thermostat Housing and there was nothing major wrong with the truck. In the end, buddy ended up buying a truck he liked, there were no hassles and he got financed there. Ali provided terrible service and questionable trustworthiness. We contacted him about a listed truck we were interested in. When a Carfax report was requested, excuses were offered for why that wasn't readily available. Two days later after more calls, we reached Wendy who was helpful and quickly Emailed us the Carfax report. Next we submitted an online loan application to Ali and let him know we would be driving about 300 miles to come inspect the truck, and if satisfied with its condition buy it. Today we arrived, inspected the truck and test drove it. A placard on the windshield states that an 84 point safety inspection had been completed. We asked to see a record of the inspection. Ali retreated to his office, appeared to be looking for a record of the inspection, and then told us he could not find a record. He then offered some poor excuses such as; "We just got the truck." (as if there hadn't been time yet to do the inspection they claim has already been done), or "We encourage everyone to get a third party inspection done." (at their own expense) (and as if they don't need to document they did the 84 point inspection.) We liked the truck a lot and were ready to buy it if there was a detailed checklist record of a thorough inspection. I called a Toyota dealer 2 miles away and found out that they could perform a full inspection for $119. Since Ali was exhibiting at best - poor record keeping, (and possibly fraudulent advertising) we asked if he was willing to deduct the $119 from the $19,000 purchase price. He stubbornly refused and when we pointed out how unreasonable this was he announced, "THE VEHICLE IS NO LONGER FOR SALE!" No thank you Ali for wasting 8 hours of travel time for us and 600 miles worth of fuel. read more

We has been looking for a used truck for a few weeks but were not able to come to an agreement as financing was a major part of what was going to "seal the deal". I asked them if i can fill out the application online and the sent me a link to the application to complete. which i did. they got back to me with the approval. We went to trade a car in, under a time constraint. So, I asked for a manager since they would have the last say and make the process go quicker. The guy helping us wasn't very confident or knowledgeable and when asked for a manager, he was hesitant although he claimed to be the manager. I explained my situation and then another guy came in and said that they couldn't help me because they would need cash on top of the car, since I told them my credit wasn't that great. They didn't even check my credit and basically shunned me away without trying. Said they couldn't help me. I went to another dealership and they took the trade in and got me in the vehicle I've been looking for, a Tacoma. Car plus finance said they specialize in tacomas and are experts in working on them. These guys are total jerks. I was looking at a 2003 Tacoma and requested to bring it to a mechanic to get it looked at before purchase. At first Al just brought it to the mechanic and let them drive it, and then brought it right back. Then Hamid actually left it at the mechanic overnight, and when they looked at it in the morning the mechanic told me that one of the rear shocks and one of the front struts was leaking. That mechanic gave me the price of around 600-800 for parts and labor. I called my local mechanic and was told $300-350 for the back and up to $700 for the front including parts and labor. I asked Al if they could reduce the price of the truck to compensate for the cost of the parts, he not only refused to reduce the price but outright denied that there was a problem with the truck at all. He said that he took it to HIS mechanic, and HIS mechanic said there was nothing wrong with it. First of all, I seriously doubt that he was able to immediately get the truck looked at by another mechanic in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Second of all, if it really was a mechanic allied or associated with Al or car plus finance, of course that mechanic would say there was nothing wrong with it. When I talked to Al he clearly did not care about losing the sale, he knew that someone else would buy the truck without getting it checked out by a mechanic first, so whoever bought a black 2003 Tacoma with 89,000 miles on it for $12,000 you're going to need to replace your shocks and struts, so be advised. DO NOT TRUST HISAM, WHO I BELEIVE IS THE OWNER. He told me the price of a truck was 22k. I looked it over and decided to go with it. He drew up paperwork to take to credit union , but something told me to stop and check the truck out on his website before going to credit union. I got home and brought truck up on carplusfinance.com and advertised price was $21k, then I watched as Hisam at that very moment,was changing the advertised price to $22k in case I checked it out later. Lucky for me I printed out screenshots of the truck advertised for $21k. I now have my brother in law,( attorney) looking into everyway I can show him just how stupid Im not. Im reporting him to every gov. agency that deals with ripoffs like Hisam. Hisam, you have zero integrity and I wouldnt trust you to tell me what day it was. . I found a newer Tacoma with 40000 miles less than his for same money. I only gave one star because yelp wont let you give zero, which would match how much of my money Hisam got. I was actually really surprised with the lack of good used Preowned Tacomas and Tundreas available in Los Angeles. I thought this was supposed to be like a "we have a little of everything" city. Apparently not. When I called Car Plus Finance after finnding them on Google I told to Hamid and he told me that he had was I was looking for...the Tacoma TRD in Black. I was like yeah I heard that before. Well, he wasnt lying. I got there and it was already set up for my test drive. LOVED IT. NEED IT! Unfortunatly do to some credit lines that were not mine on my credit report i wasnt able to get it right then and there. BUT*** he went out of his way to find me someone who was able to get this resolved, rescore me, and then ill be set to go offroading.I was amazed that he was able to hold it it was a deposit while I get this taken care of.
