These guys charged me an arm and a leg for installation on one car amp. For one hour worth of work basically cost me $200 dollars. The head sales guy said in his accent, "we have two people working on your car." I told him he was full of sh@! I was sitting outside and only one guy was working on my car. I went there hoping to get a deal. I was looking for something simple just a cd deck that has bluetooth and a USB port. The sales guy kind of pushy telling me to get a double din DVD that cost 3x more than the deck they showed me at first. He even told me it would be around $1,480 for change out everything. I was irritated that he kept blurting out numbers while inputing it in the calculator, saying the costs for labor, the dash kit, doing a bypass, amp, sub....etc. As if I know what the hell he is talking about! But me being me, I was impatient to shop around so paid $250 for the deck and $70 for the dash kit and $50 for installation, total $370. They told me that deck was on sale; original price $280, so I did research online and I found out that I could get the exact deck for $160 shipping included! I know I got ripped off, my fault though. What makes the situation worse is that after a couple days I noticed some of the radio stations on my new deck had a lot of static, the stock deck had no static on those stations. It's like I down-graded my system instead of up-grading. So I called them back and only now they tell me that my car needs a special antennae to be connected since the stock one runned off the stock deck. UUGGGGHH! They said that they didn't tell me before because I didn't ask. How am I supposed to know that!!! So that would cost me another $80, and I said forget that!!! Wish I return it and get my money back but they said all sales final. :( I learned my lesson and I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

My husband got a tip from a coworker to go here to get a car alarm and have it installed. We got there early they were super helpful and the price was awesome $157ish. We went back couple hours later and the guy came out to show us how to use the alarm and also cleaned up the loose wires and fixed the turning signals. Super super great service! read more

This place is terrible!!!! I have a beautiful Cadillac srx which they couldn't figure out. Their installation was by far the worst. Had to pay another dealer to install my power series nicely. They sold me speakers that was not what I wanted. These people will tell you anything to make you buy. I don't know much about speakers but I knew what I wanted and what they gave me was all shit. 2006 passat needed some electrical work done, called them up and got me right in. I inspected the work thoroughly and its clean. The work where the amp is installed is clean, the way they installed it so I can remove just the sub system and not everything else in the event I'm putting large objects in the trunk. Contrary to several reviews prior about the douchebag that owns this shop being "knowledgeable" He's actually not. My husband purchased a stereo system from here to which we've been having issues with. Upon purchase we were not informed of an additional harness that was supposedly needed to make sure the door chimes and blinkers work like they are supposed to. We go back because it's obviously a cause for concern and he says it's $180 to add the harness,the chimes were working prior to the stereo installation so why shouldn't it again, besides also including "harness NC (no charge)" on receipt he couldn't even give a valid reason as to which harness it was. He claims he did inform my husband of the additional harness needed because "it's his business it's what he does, makes sure customers are inform" load of horseshit. Does business does not care about doing right by their customers, they only care about money in the pockets. I prefer zero star ratings. Absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

You get what you pay for. This place may be cheaper and they may have "offers" but don't be fooled, their service is one of the poorest I've ever seen. They cut corners to save themselves a buck or two. Had my alarm and my rear view camera installed here. Rear view camera went bad not once, not twice but 3 times. Each time it was "due to water leaking into the connections". I can understand once, but 3 times? My viper alarm installed here has failed too many times to count since install. Took it back, they said "nothing is wrong". This final time the alarm went off (AFTER I had disarmed it), now, my truck doesn't even start. Called them for help, "nothing we can do, we don't know who specifically installed your alarm." Really? Why should it matter? It should be done the same way all the time to avoid problems like this! Yes, if you go here, you will save money but beware, you will end up spending even more money in the long run getting everything fixed! read more

I wanted to get a system in my car and both those places failed me by saying "Oh we're out of stock". I called Car Stereo Express and talked to Steve. He's a nice guy, I think he was the manager. Told him my situtation, he told me to come down. Everyone there greeted me. I told them I want a full system in my car. 2 10s would be nice, and change out the stock speakers. I said I didn't want it to exceed a grand and they worked within my budget and I got a super nice system. Rockport Fosgate, Kenwood amp and Deck. The head unit is super nice, new, nobody else got it. I'll never have to worry about my ipod running low on battery or playing with it, because I can look through my music through the deck. Took them 2 hours to hook everything up which was okay considering they had other customers to take care of too. I'd recommend Car Stereo Express to anyone who's looking for a quality system, and service. read more
