The stereo system on my 9 year old Toyota Camry was staring to act wonky (touchscreen not responsive, power button not working, steering wheel control not working, skipping tracks, etc.). He replaced the old touchscreen and got it working like the day I bought the car. All the issues mentioned above were fixed. I had Jorge repair my OEM Lincoln Stereo/NAV/6-CD player unit from a 2006 Town Car because the CDs jammed and wouldn't move at all. I contacted 4 other repair places and they all declined to take a look at it. Jorge said he would, and said that it might need a new CD assembly. Dropped it off and 2 days later it was repaired. Just needed a 'reset' as one of the CDs was jammed. Now Jorge could of charged me the original estimate for new parts and I wouldn't of been any wiser, but he didn't, and I saved $145. If anyone owns a 2nd Gen. Lexus IS, then you are bound to know that the screen will stop working on you. Luckily I found Mobile Var Stereo though Facebook and my experience has been seamless, uncomplicated, and professional. My first interaction was through facebook messenger. Someone replied to me immediately and asked discerning questions to fully understand what work needs to completed on my car. After discussing, it was found that it was just my touch sensor not working (if your screen remains black and does not respond to touch, an additional component needs to be replaced). My neighbor and I have the same car and he has the same issues, so both of us worked with Jorge to book an appointment, and gave us a discount for both of us ordering a repair. Jorge was on time with appointment and was able to work on both cars in a timely manner (appox 30 min per car). He already had prepared and pre-assembled each component prior to arriving to our house. Jorge tested screen sensitivity, contrast, and offers a 2 year warranty with his work. He also accepts credit card if you do not have cash. Recently my screen has been hiccuping and going black intermittently, I contacted Jorge and he said he is willing to help me out to replace the part when it finally fails and I have saved up enough money. Overall, I highly recommend going though Jorge and Mobile Car Stereo- he has been servicing screens professionally though different car dealerships in the South Bay for years. This is way more cost effective then having the dealership scamming you to replace your whole Nav/Control unit for $1700-$2300! I had a problem with the sound not working in my radio in my jeep.....went to several companies.....no one said they even knew how to fix it ...found that strange since it is a big part of a radio.....the sound....hello?..... .but all of them wanted to sell me a new radio......for only about $400 to $600...........i plan on selling my jeep in a few months and did not want to put that much money into it........ then i ctcd george .....from mobile car stereo.....he came to me....exactly when he predicted...........he said most likely one of the chips needed to be re-soldered.....said it would cost $75.......took my radio - brought it back to me in a few days......it worked initially ....then no sound again.... called george - and said for me to let him get me another used radio....i asked how much .....he says $130.....I say ok........comes back in like 2 days ......puts the new radio in ......perfect......he takes my card and only charges me $55.......i said - i thought u said $130.....he says yes - he did .....but since the first time did not fix my problem......he rolled that $75 into the total cost of the radio of $130.....I was like.....totally unbelievable.....this just does not happen today!!! if you have a problem with yr car radio...i know u would be EXTREMELY foolish not to call George and mobile car stereo repair.....the guys totally knows his business....and I know u will not find anyone more fair and more honorable then george.....guys like him are just so very rare to find in the business world! steven speck read more

The aftermarket stereo in my 2001 VW Clunker (Jetta) just dropped dead one day. I thought about taking it to the place that installed it, but I figured I'd look at Yelp first to see if there were someone closer. Can't get closer than having the repair person come straight to my door! We had to work around the rain for a week, but today was a bright sunny day in more ways than one. No idea how it happened, but the fuse that controls the radio was GONE. Well, no, a radio isn't going to work if it has no power. So the repair was quick and straightforward and the radio didn't have to be replaced after all. I am absolutely thrilled. The price was extremely reasonable, too, which is just frosting on the cake.
