I've been passing this place for years and I see the signs for best margaritas and signs for tacos, well finally decided to try it. I'm very disappointed for the price you pay for the tacos I expected better. The street tacos are small, which I knew they would but the tiny slab of meat on them, how can you call it a taco?! For the same size street tacos with more meat, I can get them for the same price or even cheaper at other places I know. Also there was one salsa that I can tell was old, the moment I bit into the tomato it had the canned expired taste to it. Service was good. The place was clean. After trying the tacos, it's a negative for me. Maybe one day I'll try something else.

so gross. I wouldn't spend money here again. Wish I didn't the first time. Got two burritos that weren't bad, but not awesome. The dip made me nervous. Maybe people don't order it and they gave us one that was in the fridge...? Unsalted tortilla chips, just tell me they really don't care.

Do not judge a book by its cover. This may look well seasoned on the outside, but it is full of good food and people on the inside. Today we were passing by after an adventure at Cerreta's. This is a location we usually visit during the Christmas season after walking around old Town enjoying the festive lights. Being celiac, the girls picked out a gluten free cheese crisps. Rather than one large flour tortilla, they give you 4 small corn tortillas. Very thoughtful. They had rice on the side. I had the chicken taquitos special with beans no cheese. Everything was cooked perfect. The taquitos can be tricky not to over crisp, but they were not over done. Service was great.

Carumba Mexican Restaurant The Giant Carumba Burrito for $5.95 this is 3 meals for me. They actually use 2 flour tortillas for the burro, takes up the entire aluminum tin with lettuce tomatoes and sauce. Even though it is huge still has good taste, I get the beef and it is served wet in the enchilada sauce. Also comes with chips and has a small good salsa bar. You order at the counter and they call your number to pick up the food. If you are looking for a fast inexpensive good quality clean Mexican restaurant, this is it, They do live up to their motto "Where you don't PESO much!"

This is my wife's untouched chile relleno; she took one bite of it and immediately said it did not taste right.

The enchiladas are seriously the best full of flavor and perfectly done. Definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Love the Caramba's staff! Food and primo margaritas are the best! Carnitas, famous stuffed quesadilla, and spinach queso dip are our go-tos

We were pleasantly surprised by this Mexican restaurant on 83rd Ave. and Peoria. It's a large…read morebuilding with lots of seating at booth tables and bar area. Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

When requesting a table she stated there were only 2 servers and that the tables were not in their "section" which was only 4 feet from the booths! Stupidity at epic levels! We turned around and left after wasting 10 minutes. Eat at Firebirds across the street for better food, service and a hostess with brains!
