Carbone's has some really good pizza the one day my girlfriend or a small pizza I ended up eating the entire thing on her. It was a cheese and pepperoni and mushroom pizza and usually I'm not a fan of mushrooms but for some reason I just could not stop eating it I haven't had their wings but every time I stop and everything seems to be very tasty looking so if you're and all that and and you're looking for some pizza give this place a shot I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

I'm a frequent customer of Carbone's (Alden). I love their food. The pizza is cooked always made the way you want, cooked through. The subs are served up on lightly toasted rolls. The wings tend to be on the crispy side, but you can always request them "not-crispy" any they always cater. The sauce is perfect: I'd say it defines "buffalo wing" nicely (Personally, I'd recommend medium or hotter). Gripes: - They cut the pizza too small and not evenly. - Crispy wings (sometimes overcooked). - No delivery (but in a central location). Grew up on this pizza - never understood why so many people claim its the best. Was always unimpressed. Sauce is way too sweet. Gross.

Anything far from good pizza. My wife and I decided to eat at the restaurant prior to a concert at Darien lake. We waited close to 30 minutes for a personal pizza and a single order of wings. Definitely not worth the wait and I wouldn't even recommend takeout. The sauce on the pizza was very bland. The cheese fell right off the pizza when I took a bite which just left me with a very doughy crusts w and bland sauce not to mention the pizza was very greasy. On to the wings..... I ordered my wings extra crispy with mild sauce. I opened the contained and there was just a puddle of grease on the bottom of it. I took a bite and the wings were very bland also. #GREAT in and out place. This is not a sit down place really. Their are tables and chairs their but not much. The chicken fingers and fries are awesome but the pizzas are not that good. The cheese is bad theirs a lot of sauce and the crust is small. So we place an order for like $50 in subs. Told them I had a coupon when I ordered and for the amount of the coupon. It's the same coupon every week. Anyway, when my husband went to pick it up, the coupon disappeared and he told the little girl, I'm sorry but I must have lost the coupon outside. She would NOT honor the coupon, and says that she needed "to see it".....WTF?!?! It's not even a coupon with a number u punch in the register. But, she could've suggested to my husband to just open the Carbone's app, and show her the coupon on there. Takes four seconds maybe. NOPE, not a word, no helpful advice, couldn't give a crap, and then argued with him and couldn't give the discount. That is not the way you keep customers coming back. You can't hire smart mouth, cocky, sarcastic little teenagers to try and run your establishment and expect to stay open much longer. This isn't the old days with no choice of restaurants. So many people stopped coming here, now I see why. We're gonna start going to Lancaster too for our dinners from now on like everyone else. Alden has an over abundance of pizza places for such a small town, and this is without a doubt the number one place to get your pie. If you're looking to eat in somewhere, this is definitely not the place to go...but as far as take out pizza goes, Carbones will always be close to my heart. read more

I am not the type of person to ever complain but the service and mishandling of my order this weekend warrants a response. Our 6 year old had a birthday party on Saturday 12/9 with 13 hungry kids. My order was a party pack which I called in and still waited over an hour. Upon pickup the place was busy, we questioned the order and the girl at the counter (whom was rude)reassured us that this was our order. Well it wasn't! Sausage pizzas and spicy boneless, which no kid wanted. We called right away. The girl on the phone was the same girl that reassured us that this is our order upon pickup. Her response was "what do you want me to do about it" this was after she double checked our order. She said a manager will give us a call. Well, nobody called. I guess they don't need our business. Now I know why they always have a help wanted sign up. Myself and a large group of co workers visit this place very often, gave them good business. I'm done. Sad that people don't care about the customer. anymore. Too many great pizza places in buffalo. No loss. read more
