If you are looking for pokemon singles go to hidden collectible, juice box, card shack, excelsior collectibles, and king slayer the other stores have way more inventory they only had around 30 last time I went. read more

Just went in for a common out of supreme darkness market on it is about 10 cents and the dude charged me 50 cents which is 400% over the value of the card. I don't know if it was because I was on the phone but it's stuff like this that makes it hard to support local shops. read more

Terrible experience over the phone. Tells he can't help me he's busy and that if he does I'll have to wait. If I put a request to see if they have a card he said he wouldn't get back to me until the next day. Overall rude customer service, he couldn't care less helping or answering any questions. States, "idk it could be tomorrow, idk if you come in im still busy and won't be able to assist you right away. I asked how long would I have to wait, he said, idk I'm alone. The shop is decently sized and the staff is nice and friendly. I went here to pick up some precon challenger decks for Magic, which they had. Just not the ones I called them about. They had a decent collection of singles and a good amount of folks playing, although I feel that this shop is more devoted to yugioh and some of the other card games, which is totally fine. They really were lumped for the new One Piece game, so if you're into anime card games, I'm sure this is the place for you. read more

Updating my review: The previous time I had a bad experience, but coming back they really showed that they took the review seriously and valued me as a customer. The owner reached out personally and I appreciate when a business can own up to a mistake and try to make amends with a customer who has had a bad experience. I came back with my nephew to give them one more shot and they exceeded my expectations. We picked up a One Piece booster box and we spoke with a new employee named Eddie who helped us with our deck builds and card selections. Thanks Eddie, you rock! And I love that he is a true OP fan just like myself. The manager whose name escapes me but wears glasses with short hair was also a delight to talk to and helpful with my tcg purchases. Went in today after work and waited 15 minutes before I left, not one employee helped me out or even greeted me when I entered I watched as one employee explained a card game to another person and 2 others sat next to the register. It's probably better I wasn't helped as the prices they have on the Pokemon selection reminded me of scalpers $150 for a ETB is ridiculous. i signed up for a pre-rift event here on a friend's recommendation. spiritforged pre-rift events were scarce, understandably due to the hype around the set, but i think the first red flag should have been from when my friend mentioned there was very little space in the shop itself. there was no communication from them about the event, and i had not known that i was kicked off the list of the event until someone at another event asked me which pre-rifts i was going to. the reason for the kick was simply because they were truncating the list from 32 people down to 16, which makes me wonder why they didn't just set that as the limit in the first place....? on top of that, the only communication for this was through their discord server, apparently, and even then no one was informed until literally the day before the event. when asked if we would get a refund for being kicked off the event, the person on the phone mentioned that the people kicked off would get a refund. this was approximately 2 weeks ago. as of 2/15/26, i have yet to receive a refund from either this shop or carde.io, nor have i gotten any form of communication from them. i do not normally review card shops as they are generally hit or miss anyways, but this one, who have wasted my time and money, before i even stepped foot in here once is very disrespectful. read more

So I drove all the way there, surprise surprised it's closed, no store hours on door either, despite Google says it's open, thx google. This is such badly managed store on the simplest thing. Leave a voice mail please. The room has lots of table and space unless there's tournament. Since this place support both Yugioh and Magic, it' very chaotic and not newbie friendly (luckily I'm a vet & have friends) Else if you come here alone looking for people to play with, good luck. There are plenty of college intern staffs but most seem to "busy" with stuffs, they're just there to eat lunch and hang out with friends, they not even working most of the time or act like they care. They also rip you off buying your cards, like 5cent for rare, so I suggest sell somewhere else. The Magic products are very limited when it comes to sleeve and box. The storefront is nice, and the workers THERE are good ENOUGH not to hate it. But the stand at Frank and Sons is some of the worst card selection and worst attitude for a vendor I've ever dealt with. First off, the prices are WAY over Market Price on TCGPlayer or CardKingdom, so I don't know where they are getting there prices from. And if you try to point out that they are basically scamming you, or try to budge on the price at all, they'll say: "this is the cheapest you'll find here, I have the ENTIRE stock of all vendors here at Frank and Sons and this is the cheapest." (Which is lies) and they talk themselves up so much that it's baffling. For an example, I had 5 cards missing from the list of cards u was looking from Franks and the Market Price value was 59$. I gave him 18$ cash and he STILL charged me 58$. I forget why I buy from him and I'm reminded every time. DONT BUY FROM HIS STALL AT FRANK AND SONS. read more

its genuinely a hit or miss. the female staff who help me are great but there is usually only one working. we have the worse time when its the male staff who help us. price gauging its real and it thrives with them. the price is whatever the male employee at the time feel like it is. no price stickers are on the items. the male employees do not price check online. the male staff over charges most products. the store is so mid. it does not cater to a diverse customer base. customers do not feel welcomed and valued. unfriendly and poor customer service by the male staff. like BE REAL. this store is ONLY for yugiooh players. lastly, girls/women please go to another store! i was physically harassed by another customer when it was crowded! its not a safe or inclusive place. the store lives to the stereotype that gaming is a male-dominated hobby, thriving off stereotypes and biases. read more

First time here, I came with my boyfriend to pre-register for an event in which he was told that signups are only in-person on the phone. We come to pay and was told there was no pre-register signups. Very misleading information and confusion amongst staff. They have a variety of cards you can buy, but in regards to Pokemon, they're basically scalper prices from what I saw. The person helping us apologized for the misleading information and offered us some free posters but what got me was the fact they were implying their fellow coworkers were... something (I think they were going for "incompetent"), but if an employee is bad mouthing their fellow workers, makes you really question what kind of business this is. I'm not from this area so searched shops that sold Magic: The Gathering and found Card Addiction. I got there at opening and the first thing I noticed was all of the trash cans and recycling bin in the shop were completely filled to the brim. I had to use the restroom as I opened the door I was immediately hit with the smell of old urine. I washed my hands and again found a overly full trash can in the bathroom. Every seat in this shop was either extremely worn out, ripped, or both. The only reason they got a second star was the price of the cards I bought was reasonable. If you are just needed some singles or packs to crack they have a really good selection. I wouldn't spend anymore than 15 minutes inside if you can avoid it. read more

I am starting to become suspicious of the packs, specifically pokemon packs being resealed. I've already spent a pretty good amount of money at this place and the premium celebrations box I just bought made me even more suspicious. Some of the code cards were backwards. The rares were upside down or backs facing the other way. The crimping and ruffles in the booster packs were a dead give away of them being resealed. Also the tightness of the packs and the ease of opening were also a dead give away. Also, also... one of the commemorative coins that was suppose to come in the box is missing. I'm even more concerned that they rather their customers use money than credit or debit. I assume this is so that they have no way to track a sale if someone were to raise a question of them doing something like this. If this is going on, it's pretty pathetic to take advantage of your patrons like this. They spend their hard earned money at your establishment, just to be mistreated this way. read more

This place was extremely welcoming, staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, most of the prices were extremely fair. The owner Kevin (short guy) will buy at a very very low value (close to free) and if vendors offer you an amount, he will call you a liar and tell you come back with a real number. Asking him to purchase cards, go to other places in Frank and Sons please. You will get more money for your cards elsewhere. He even fired my friend Frank who used to work there. Look at their booth and you tell me with your own eyes, why is nobody going to that booth at Franks? Also if you need any supplies such as cardboard boxes for Cards which this shop doesn't carry, Kevin would go to a place to at Frank and Sons to buy for $1 and sell it to you for $3. He could have told you there's a place at Frank and Sons that sell them so you can pick them up there. Hint hint. read more

Boyfriend and I came to buy packs one night about 45 mins to closing (9pm). Immediately as we walked in, we did not feel welcome at all. Right away, staff behind the counter and whoever were sitting at the tables (employees or regulars) were saying things OUT LOUD how they should have locked the door. There were even a couple other customers who came in a couple minutes after us while we were browsing and one of the staff was saying "Why is everyone coming now??" Not even trying to hide the fact that they're annoyed customers are coming in. It's not like we're coming in with only 2 minutes to closing. Even then, you still shouldn't talk like that in front of customers. Came here for One Piece OP-02 release on Friday 3/10/22. Surrounding areas selling the OP-02 boxes on the high end selling $150-$170 for one booster box. This place was charging $240 a booster box! Based on the previous comments this place seems to have a history of overcharging. Price Gouging is real lol. Probably not come here again. Highly suggest other local stores in the surrounding area that sell stuff at a reasonable price. read more
