Cute coffee shop with a earthy vibe! Tried this coffee shop after driving the tail of the dragon, staff was friendly. Coffee was a little too sweet for my liking but the flavor of the espresso was nice!

Stopped at this adorable coffee shop on my way to Bryson city. Great vibes & they have so many options. The coffee has been nothing short of AMAZING both times I've stopped. Best pumpkin spice latte I've ever had! Everyone's so warm and welcoming. My go to coffee shop from here on!

Such a cute little coffee shop and the coffee is honestly delicious! The barista was so sweet and the service was fast. Would absolutely recommend getting a hot latte with oat milk, white chocolate and toasted marshmallow!

Strawberry banana smoothie and an iced latte with oat milk and almond+vanilla flavoring..... perfection. Latte was amazing. The inside was adorable! Highly recommend stopping by here

A wonderfully little coffee shop on the side of the road. Very little cell service and no Wi-Fi, but you don't go for coffee for those things. I ordered a caramel mocha latte and I can say it was one of the best I have ever had. My friend ordered a chia tea latte and he said it was much better than Starbucks. They do have a bathroom singular outside by the drive thru building. If I am ever in the area again I will stop here in a heart beat. Great coffee and great staff.

We never miss an opportunity to stop at this wonderful coffee shop. They have great coffee, sweets and local art. Beautiful halfway point for us heading to visit friends and family in western NC.

Parties must wait outside before entering. 3-person limit capacity.

Ahh. I wish I could give this place more than two stars. Let me share with you why. First, pros & cons. Pros: coffee and bagels are legit. Very good. I tried their cold brew coffee and it was smooth. Not bitter like other coffee locations that sell cold brew. Cons: the customer service was what brought the review down..... not very friendly here. I noticed there were other reviews mentioning the staff also being rude to another reviewer. Barista seemed annoyed by our questions. Here was another experience: If you look at the pictures, you'll notice the coffee shop has displayed a rule about the capacity of people at the entrance of the coffee shop. "3 person maximum capacity." However their rule did not apply to all customers. When my husband and I walked inside there were a total of four people. We were asked to step outside since it was over capacity. We responded, sure no problem. The group that was before us (4 people) and after us (4 people) went over capacity. However, no one told them to step out. I kindly mentioned I was planning to write a review and wanted to make sure I understood why they allowed two parties in, one before us and the other after us, that lead to over capacity. But we were the only ones told to step outside. Their response: we can't man the doors all the time... We have no problem with rules. We completely respect the rules, especially during a pandemic. We felt like the way and manner in which the rules were communicated and the lack of consistency with their customers, lead to a bad experience for us.

For a busy coffee house? 10 minutes from order is the norm for a place with its act together. 15 minutes? Newbie time. 25 minutes? Def ownership understaffing. 32 minutes, from order? I've been here before. Tourist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Once upon a time? They had a good enough selection of decent pastries, in the case. Today? Sparse, like the Sahara of Sweet. A couple of very unappetizing cookies. No croissant. No cinnamon rolls. Ehhhhh. Dolce expanded their cafe menu. Likewise it, too, is slothmade and slothserved. With success comes a certain level of complacency. Even arrogance. $30, for your t-shirt? Baker, please. This has been a destination spot, for tourists. Competition, with the level around them, should provide incentive to get their act together. Kind of sad.

I got it hot, because of the cool mornings here in the valley. It paired great with the Orange cranberry Scone! Of course I got it warmed! It was so moist and yummy, no butter needed there! I talked to the owners daughter and she told me the bakers arrive at 3:00-4:00 am so everything is fresh each day! My friend got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese on a fresh made bagel! There was a chipotle aioli on the sandwich that made it over the top! I had to have a bite, just to tell everyone about it! Shhh! I might have snuck an extra bite! So SO YUMMY! The decor in the shop is so coffee chic.. loved it! Super comfy chairs and tables if you need to work. Outside plenty of tables and comfy arm chairs. Great spot to get away from the hoopla of the main strip in Helen, GA but still be somewhat close…read more It's about an 8-minute drive to this cute coffee house from Helen. It seems to be a local favorite because it was pretty busy when we arrived. We got the last spot in the parking lot. The lot is not paved (dirt and mulch); however, if you have a Tesla they have two charging units in the lot. Staff are very friendly and inviting and they do a good job of cleaning and maintaining the coffee station and customer seating areas. Prices are competitive to other businesses in the area, although the coffee is a bit expensive in my opinion, but it is delicious. I ordered an Americano and it was one probably the best one we had on our whole trip. Nancy and I both ordered coffee's, the Americano was $5.75 and her Coffee of the Day was $4.00. For our breakfast we decided on the Bacon Quiche $7.50 and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit $6.95 to share. The Quiche was on point; it was much better than the Biscuit Sandwich. Don't get me wrong both items tasted yummy it's just the biscuit was quite dry. Nancy had to ask for Jelly to spruce it up. They didn't charge extra for the jelly and after adding the jelly the sandwich was actually the bomb; something for the menu development team to ponder. There is not a lot of seating here but it seems most customers are in and out quick except for a few that are working on laptops and whatnot. All-in-all, a great spot for a quick breakfast or brunch and fresh ground and deliciously brewed coffee. I recommend them if you are in the area.

The brewery has a great rooftop atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with a drink while taking in downtown Bryson City. They also host live music, although we weren't able to stay long enough to catch the performance. The highlight of our visit was definitely the bartender. I wish I remembered their name because they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to recommend drinks, suggest places around Bryson City to explore, and even gave us recommendations for campgrounds where we could stay that night. Those kinds of interactions are what make traveling so memorable. We had originally planned to grab food from the restaurant downstairs, but that didn't work out during our visit. Thankfully, the brewery itself more than made up for it with its relaxed atmosphere and outstanding hospitality. If you're looking for a laid-back rooftop spot to enjoy a local beer, listen to live music, or chat with friendly locals while exploring Bryson City, Mountain Layers Brewing Company is definitely worth a stop.
