I hadn't set foot in a card store for 25 years before visiting CardsHQ for the first time last month. If this store had been around when I was a kid collecting junk wax in the 90's I can tell you I would've spent all my lawn mowing money AND had a collection that's actually worth something! CardsHQ has a great vibe. It's welcoming, stocked, and easy to navigate. I went with a couple of my friends who weren't into the hobby but as Braves fans they loved checking out the Braves section. And afterwards they just chilled on the couch and watched football while I picked up some vintage HOF RC's. If I lived in Atlanta I'd be back too often! But I'll definitely be back on my next trip there. Until then I'll just keep browsing their website. As a vintage collector I would love to see some more vintage options. Just my opinion. I've gone here 10-15 times over the last year or so and it's been a near perfect experience every time... there are tons of dollar bins to ruffle through, pretty much any box you could possibly want and they have labeled display cases that make it easy to get in and get out if you're looking for something specific and there's also some insane cards to look at so it's always a good day when I can stop by... I did recently use their 3rd party grading service for my first time ever sending some cards off though and they have a laminated price sheet that explains price selections to a tee but it'd be nice to have a step by step sheet as well because it was daunting trying not to mess anything up on the first time filling one of those out hahaha!! Came into town from Tennessee for a Braves game and came to look at the shop. Nice shop with a bunch of stabbed cards. Didn't have much at all as far as $1 or value boxes. If you're looking for that, this probably isn't the place to go. Prices for the cards in the cases are clearly displayed which was nice. Pricing in line with recent comps, some a little under, some a little over but nothing too terribly crazy. Staff left us alone while we were looking until we needed help getting some cards from the cases. Will definitely be back when in town again read more

Cards HQ is a great place to stop in to see a variety of TCG and sports cards. I love just the sheer amount of products they carry and the diversity of them. From English to Chinese they have cards for basically every collector. While I will say their prices on English Pokemon are expensive, the other language cards offer a cheaper alternative and are still an enjoyable experience. This shop is super neat. It is huge! They have a great selection of sealed, singles, and slabs. Staff seems friendly and the trade in process looks to be pretty straightforward. My only complaint would be the Pokemon bulk. It's all the same cards - 2 promos, base energies, and BBWF extras. You can tell that they cycle all bulk from what they rip into inventory, which is why a large part of it being promos. Definitely worth stopping in to check everything out! read more
