Been here multiple times over the course of about 2 years. Pretty much the only redeeming factor is their nursing staff. They always charge incorrectly and I get some kind of refund check in the mail 3 weeks later. I have never had a good experience with the up front staff and the doctors are always hit or miss. They also always send me home with some kind of antibiotics even when I don't need them. I tried making an appointment over the phone for my most recent visit to avoid some wait time (because who wants to sit around and wait while they are sick?) but when I got in it was "nowhere to be found." If you're going to come in, make sure you have plenty of time because you will spend most of your visit waiting. If you can, I would recommend finding an alternative. read more

I had a very good experience. The wait was very short, as I signed on-line and waited at home. They were very efficient in getting me into a room. Everyone was very professional and kind. I especially had a very nice experience (considering the circumstances) with Dr. Steffans, as she treated me with the most efficient medications to help with my hives. She was thorough in her explanations and was very caring. I was very impressed with this visit and would recommend this Care Now to my friends and family. read more

You can tell everyone who works here must hate their jobs. When staff sets expectations around when to expect to see a Dr., don't believe what they tell you, and be prepared to wait. Additionally, staff is incredibly rude, and the office is poorly ran. read more

I have been coming here for years and have never had a problem until today. I did web check in and they called me promptly asking for my information and stated it would be about a 2 hour wait. 2 hours came up and no call so I went into the clinic. They brought me back pretty quick and I waited in a room for 2 hours. So in real time waited 4 hours just to see a doctor. I am in the medical profession and I could have gone through an emergency room in this time with treatment. I chose CareNow because they are usually very timely and it's supposed to be a fast track but I am extremely disappointed in today's visit. read more

The wait times here are ridiculously long. Even if you do web check in, they will call and tell you it's time to come for your appointment, then you wait another 45 minutes to an hour. Even when they don't appear to be busy, you'll wait an hour or more to be seen. Spent almost 2 hours total time today...total face time with medical staff...about 14 minutes. Overall poor communication. They told me one thing over the phone then had me wait three hours to tell me that don't provide the service I needed. It's also aggravating when the doctor is half laughing as she breaks the news to you. Then they follow up with calls asking how I'm doing when they did nothing to help. Maybe check the patient file to see what services were provided before making a call. read more

I was coming in for a preemployment/drug screen. Made an appointment online for 3:00 pm. Had 2 people call me and ask me for the same information. Already a red flag. Walked in a little before 3:00 and no one was at the desk. Someone had to get someone to get my information. I then proceeded to tell her I have a 3:00 appointment and she rudely clapped back they do not take appointments. I asked why did I get two separate phone calls from Carenow asking why I was coming in. At that time they should have told me they did not make appointments for this sort of things. After handing me the paper there were several people in waiting room. Waiting room was dirty. No hand sanitizer or wipes anywhere. I proceeded to fill out paperwork and I asked if I could take the pee test soon cause I had to go. She told me that I had 4 people ahead of me that I either hold it or go now and wait until I have to go again to take the test. So I sat down hoping I would be seen. After waiting 45 minutes, a nurse or pa comes in and tells me that because I put yes on a question that I would need to go to a ortho specialist to get a release. First off I do not go to an ortho doc. She assumed that I had one because of the yes question. Second I could have pain in my back that involves female issues. The point is She never sat me down and did a physical or take a health history. She determined only by the paperwork what I needed to do. YOU CAN NOT GO ON ASSUMPTIONS especially in the medical field. At all my other preemployment screenings and physicals they take a health history and physical and if you did not pass then they tell you based on that. At this point I was so frustrated, I asked if the person in the front screens the paperwork and if there was questionable issues that a nurse look at it right away so patients do not spend time waiting for someone to tell them BYE. Well she got really snippy with me and made a remark. I then told her I needed copies of all my paperwork I filled out. She refused to give me a copy. I asked why and finally they reluctantly gave me a copy of the paperwork. I have never felt so discriminated againist nor have I been treated with such unprofessionalism from a medical personal. Please read all the other negative reviews on preemployment screenings. I am not the only one. read more

Checked in online at 10am. Got a call saying it'd be about an hour to an hour and a half. They called me to come in 3 hours later at 1pm. We sat in the exam room for an hour and half before finally walking out and going to a different urgent care place in Southlake. Someone in an adjacent room said they had been in the exam room since 11:30am. It was 2:45pm when we finally gave up and left. Well the saving grace for this place is the physical therapy guys are nice and friendly . Came in wed cause I had to do a tb test and physical assessment for my new job in my district. I went into the main area and was sent over to their PT area for the physical part. Got over there, filled out a few forms about my background and was seen almost immediately for the P.A. Came back for the tb test and didn't really have to wait to long, maybe 5-10 mins. Was told to come back within the noted time (48-72 hours later) to get a reading for the results and was told unless I was positive and they had to check me in to figure out how sick I was I would be in and out in 10 mins. Cane in Friday morning maybe 12 mins before the earliest I could be checked. (9:55 and I could be checked at 10:07) They told me because I was already there I'd be seen as soon as that was. We didn't get called back until 10:37. Luckily for me my regular doctors are an exit or two closer for me. 40 min wait for something that took the nurse less than a min and half of that was showing another nurse what a negative test looked like. The staff is nice, but man ... with my regular doctors office being an exit or two closer to my house I may as well go there for after hours than have to wait longer than needed ... but honestly I don't really remember the last time I went to the doctor. *knock on wood* read more

Was able to enter insurance information online early in the morning. They called within 10 minutes and told me to come in right then. I was in and out in under 20 minutes and that's with the doctor sitting to chat, explain, give tips, and asked if there was anything else. I didn't feel rushed out. This isn't the first CareNow location I've been to, so this review is written in comparison to a previous experience in addition to my personal experience here. Found myself here after having severe nausea and vomiting for 11-12 hours. I could not keep food or liquids down and was growing concerned about not holding down liquids for so long while vomiting stomach bile. I called in advance but was told there was nothing they could do in advance, I just had to show up. I did NOT have good results checking in online at a previous location/previous experience, so I just showed up. I was greeted and filled out my paperwork promptly and pressed the fact that I had been vomiting and was still nauseous. I was told the wait would be short. I was irritated over the fact that the front desk girl stopped entering my paperwork when a few police officers walked in with a man that had Volunteer written on his shirt - something minor that called for a checkup (or more like paperwork) - how is someone that is NOT in pain a priority? Just because he walked in with some officers? I had to wait for her to enter in the other people's paperwork that got there a few minutes before she even talked to me. Now she just puts down my paperwork? Looking around the waiting room, there were a handful of people there and it was pressing closer to closing time. I was easily the most discomforted person in there. I finally went back, and had vitals taken. I was sure I was dehydrated at this point, and they needed a blood sample from me. The nurse that came in was sweet and I was so out of it I couldn't care less what was going on, she took my blood and did it so fast I THOUGHT she had done a good job, and I even complimented her. I wish I bit my tongue before doing so, because she gave me the fattest bruise - the 2nd worst I've ever had by a medical professional. My bf was present and he said she wasn't very delicate and he was upset. They ended up referring me to the ER for IV hydration (understandable), and also recommended a CT scan since I was having abdominal pain. I gave them a full list of every surgery I've ever had done - then I arrive at ER and am told that the reason CareNow recommended a CT scan was to see if it was related to my appendix - WHICH I TOLD THEM HAD BEEN REMOVED ALREADY. Even the ER staff rolled their eyes when I told them. I gave 3 stars because it wasn't too long to be seen, but GET YOUR INFORMATION RIGHT WHEN REFERRING A PATIENT OUT!!!! read more

With this location only being 10 minutes away, I am pleased to say the lobby wait time was a minimum and I was seen by a Physician with little to no time to think about any impact to my visit being an inconvenience. My children don't get sick often, so I wasn't sure who to go to on a Sunday morning. My little one had a cough and what seemed to be an ear infection. I checked in online, which I recommend, a lady called me to verify my information, and she told me she can have me come in 45 minutes. She called a short time after and I let her know we were almost there. We filled out a simple form, they called us back maybe 10 minutes later and the nurse and doctor were kind and professional. A great Care Now location. The doctors are patient, they never rush you. They ask good questions and carefully review their analysis with you. This location is very well equipped.It has a very good staff. Their online check in process is very efficient. My wife and I routinely use (when necessary) this Care Now location, and have never been disappointed. The staff tends to be very busy, yet they get their jobs done and have positive attitudes. The service from doctors, nurses, PA, and staff is excellent. After years of use, we remain happy with Care Now. read more

Jut left this place. Nice place. Was told contacts pay was going to be 30. Wrong. Paid 65. Junior (the front desk guy.) Was extremely, EXTREMLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL . No manners whatsoever. If you dont like your job. Find another. So disappointed. Asked him what was the charge the other charge for. Was told for a flow test.? Dr. Keeble came in and immediately hand me his business card then walked over and handed me a card to rate my experience and proceeded to tell me to make sure I give him a thumbs up and everyone else. He literally spent more time trying to get a pat on the back than examining me. He was very unprofessional and it was obvious he didn't care to work that day. I checked in online over an 2 hours ago and had no call. I called in and the lady said she called me an hour ago and asked me to verify my phone number. I gave it to her and she said it was the right number. This is the 3rd time I have attempted to do the web check in and the last. Every single time there is an issue. The last time I did it, I was called and still had to wait 45 min to get called once I got there. And then another 30 before a doctor came to see me. This process is pointless and ineffective. I told the lady on the phone just now that this was the last time that I go to CareNow and she resoponded as if she didn't "care" at all. No apology or anything. Definitely never getting my business again. I am so disapointed in this locations lack of professionalism and customer service. I wish I could leave zero stars. read more

I was here last Friday for a simple follow up, I sat in the exam room for an hour and half before open the door to ask about the doctor. A nurse her name is "Krystal" said to me in very aggressive way "it's not allow to you to open the door", I told her that I just asking about my doctor because of the long waiting time, she replied in very rude way " if you can not wait you can leave now" !!! sure I will never be back here. Front desk staff was very rude and not helpful. A little girls was throwing up in the lobby in the presence of the nurses and the nurses seem unconcerned or didn't even offered to help. Very shitty of them, I felt for the child and the mother in waiting. As far as the practitioners are concerned, I was asked if I had a fever which made me believe that my charts were not checked before she came in my waiting room. I explain my symptoms and was told that I didn't look sick but was recommended that I pick up my prescription at my local pharmacy. Thought this was going to be a good experience as you can check in online. They called me a couple hours after check-in and said they were ready for me. I got there, filled out the paperwork and the nurse took me back within about 10 minutes. There was nobody in the lobby, so I thought this is going to be a breeze. Boy was I wrong. After taking my vitals. they stuck me in an examining room and shut the door. An hour and a half later I finally stuck my head outside the door and asked how much longer. I was told "you are next". 20 minutes later I went back out and was told "the doctor is discharging" a patient now and would be there shortly. Finally, a person in scrubs came in. I have no idea if she was a doctor as she did not identify herself. She said how are you and I responded not good as I have been sitting here for almost two hours. She seemed irate that I would even mention that. I asked her about a cut on the inside of my lip and asked if I needed stitches. She looked at it said no and then told me to put Neosporin on it. I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure that something that says for external use probably should not be put in your mouth. So, after two minutes she left to get my "discharge papers". Like I was in a hospital. What a joke! After 10 more minutes of waiting, I went out to the front desk and asked to see a manager. They gave me that dear in the headlights look. Of course, no manager ever came, and I left. Do yourself a favor and find anyplace else but CareNow, I mean CareLess. Your time is just as valuable as theirs is! read more

I went online to make the appointment and was told it was about a three hour wait, I would get a call once a room was ready for me to arrive. I received a call about an hour and a half later stating a room was ready and I should head over. I walk in to the check in desk filled out the necessary paperwork and gave my picture id and insurance card. I brought to room and had my vitals taken and also a flu test done. I was told it would take about 10mins for the results. I have been waiting in the room for over an hour now. Really is this URGENT care? If you are busy say you are busy. I called and scheduled a time. Receptionist called me to check my info and then told me there was still a three hour wait. So I wait over three hours to get another call to tell me they are closing soon so I needed to come wait in the lobby and it would be another three hour wait.
