I want to share my disappointing experience with this dental group to caution others. I visited them for an implant on my right side teeth, but they suggested starting with the left side due to damage from grinding. Dr. B performed the procedure, during which she frequently discussed personal matters with her assistant in an unprofessional manner. After the temporary crown was placed, I experienced sensitivity, which persisted despite multiple visits. Eventually, another doctor detected an issue on my X-ray that required a root canal after the crown was put on permanently; that is the one thing that I find disappointing about Dr. B. Now, less than two years later, the crown has fallen out. The group talked about the charge for the replacement, citing examination and X-ray costs first without seeing my teeth, and without an apology. I am unhappy with their approach and lack of accountability. The average lifespan of a crown should be 5 to 15 years or more. read more

I had a Curodont procedure done during my last visit. This was recommended by the dentist. When talking about payment, the front desk gave me a paper saying that my insurance would likely pay $390. I went in again today, and the front desk now told me that my insurance only covered $13. I asked the lady at the front desk if insurance usually covers Curodont, and she said, "Most insurances don't cover Curodont, but we're hoping more will in the future." I was never given this information before going through with the procedure. Had I been informed of this, I would've decline the procedure. Now I have another $390 bill to pay. This feels like very shady business practice, and now I'm hesitant to trust their price quotes. read more

I paid over $4,000, including insurance, to Green Valley Dental for orthodontic treatment that ultimately caused issues with my gums and had to be discontinued. While Dr. Wong was very compassionate and genuinely tried to do the right thing (even stating that she would speak to the office manager about a partial refund) the office manager never called me as I was promised and then refused to return my calls. Due to problems with the Angel Aligner plan, I am out thousands of dollars and have to pay another Orthodontist to start over. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I have been coming here for a long time and used to be a patient of Dr Franz; however, the office has significantly gone downhill over the past couple of years. If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is nothing but a money grab. Prior to starting this process, I asked for the full amount upfront for the entire procedure. Since paying off the initial payment plan, I received another bill for x ray totaling $250 and now to date another treatment plan for the second part of the procedure with an out of pocket cost of $1680. WOW! Consider me impressed. I, like many people, have never really been a fan of going to the dentist. I've only ever had 2 cavities in my life (both after age 25), but I still get major anxiety. The dentist I had been seeing for the last couple of years was just a matter of convenience. Their office was very close to my house, but I was constantly unhappy with their service. So I started out on the hunt for someone new. A coworker and I discovered Green Vallety Dental Group and I made an appointment. What I like best is that they offer (although limited) Saturday appointments. We need more of this in Vegas - a place where not everyone works the normal 9-5. I filled out all of my pre-appointment paperwork online, so that made the day of my appointment super easy. They had my history printed when I got there and saved me a lot of time. The staff is really friendly - what a breath of fresh air. And the office is super cute and modern. Not too shabby! The only disappointment I really had was that, even though I was early, I wasn't seen until at least 15 minutes after my start time. Other than that, everything was great. The hygenist and Dentist were both awesome. We set up a cleaning and I look forward to a long relationship at this practice! Oh - and they offer free teeth whitening. One Star reviews especially of medical professionals are not something I write on a whim. With that in mind I'm going to stick to the facts. I needed to be seen by Dr. Frantz as I was having severe tooth pain. It was so bad I was taking 1600 mg of Ibuprofen every 4 hours, and I even tried using some antibiotics I had left over to try and relieve some of the pain. The fact that I was in pain was communicated during the appointment confirmation call. I let the dental hygienist know before she took X-rays. I even said something to Dr. Frantz directly when he was doing an inspection of my teeth. Dr. Frantz reviewed the X-rays which clearly showed 2 infected teeth. Yet I was not given anything for pain. And I was not given any antibiotics to help clear up the infection. I was told he could write a script for special toothpaste that would be helpful to help repair my teeth as part of a longer term care approach. Once Dr. Frantz left the staff was working on typing up a treatment plan. Due to computer issues I waited literally 50 minutes just for the staff to type up that treatment plan...Dr. Frantz left the room at 4:10 pm, and I didn't get to leave until 5:00 pm. I never received the toothpaste script much less anything else and I was still in pain. Having spent the 4th of July weekend with tooth pain so bad I couldn't eat much beyond soft foods, I am taking the time to express my frustration by typing up this review. Needless to say I will be finding another dentist. I hate going to the dentist anyway but why should I bother going if they do absolutely NOTHING to help with immediate pain relief? I understand the overall mindset of the medical community to be hypercautious on pain meds, but if you have X-rays showing infected teeth and you can't even bother to write a script for a basic antibiotic to try and knock down the infection that's a problem. Or if nothing else explain why you're not going to treat the infection. I don't think that is asking too much. read more

I love the staff and Dr. Frantz. Just received a bill with an additional charge of $10 for Covid charges. Was told mouthwash, masks and hand sanitizer went up in price and that the waiting room gets cleaned more often. I would have hoped that a medical office that deals with exams and surgery would have been as clean before as it is now. The actual cost for the Covid fee is $25 To the insurance companies. 12/19/18 @ 4pm -Showed up for what I thought was a routine cleaning with Mabi (?) -Waited until 4:15pm and called back by someone other than the hygienist I requested. -Stranger hygienist asks me if I want to be numbed & I immediately say for what, a cleaning? -Stranger hygienist says yes for your deep cleaning. -I said no I did not schedule a deep cleaning for today, I would like a standard cleaning until I'm with the hygienist I know/am comfortable with. -Unknown hygienist tell me that yes she is doing a deep cleaning on me and I'm visibly shocked and appalled at this point so I get out of the chair, walk to the front desk and ask to speak with someone in charge. -A lady named Leslie proceeds to tell me that Mabi (?) went home early and this hygienist is filling in for her. That I have to get a deep cleaning because that is what Mabi (?) has recommended as part of my treatment plan. -I explain to Leslie that I am a customer, no one called me to notify me of the deep cleaning vs the standard cleaning appt., nor to tell me that my hygienist was not going to be available. I would have rescheduled the appt./been prepared for a deep cleaning had I been given notice of the change. I tell her that it is my body and I have every right to the decisions I make with who I allow to touch my body and how they touch it and at this time I only want a standard cleaning with this unknown hygienist. -This is where things really go south...Leslie looks at me and tells me there is nothing she can do, she gives me a very unauthentic/condescending apology and tells me in her syrupy tone that if I don't like it I can find another dentist. In her "apology" she also says "A mistake was made and I'm sure you make mistakes at your job too." Seriously!?! This woman does not reflect nor provide the customer service I have come to expect from this office. As a small business owner Dr. Frantz and his staff should realize that patient loyalty and retention mean something because if patients are treated like I was, folks won't come back. My family and I have been patient's with Dr. Frantz for over 10+ years and it breaks my heart to have to write a negative review/give 1 star, I do not do it lightly. What I experienced yesterday 12/19/18 with Leslie left me in tears and shaking with anger at the way she mishandled the entire situation & I DO NOT want another person to endure what I did. Well I Used to Love coming here, I recently changed insurances and I called to verify they took my insurance and everything would be covered as it was with my previous plan. I was assured by the billing lady that it was all covered and set and I have 2 free cleanings and X-rays a year. I just received a bill and called to ask what it's for. I've been meaning to update my review after I got a second opinion somewhere else so here it is. I never got the cleaning I had scheduled here. When they were measuring my pockets I felt as if I were getting stabbed, my gums did bleed when they were getting measured. The hygienist let me know that I needed to get a scaling and rooting done. I said fine and got the price, they sent me on my merry way. What threw me off is that the hygienist said that I've most likely had gum problems for years but that no one ever caught it. I had the same dentist since I was about 11 and I think he would have caught that. I ended up going to another dentist for a second opinion and he told me my gums and teeth were fine. He measured my pockets, not a hygienist, no stabbing of my gums either. Thanks to the second opinion, I was saved from having to spend almost $400 and I got my cleaning done. The hygienist and doctor here were really nice but I would not recommend them, specially after they made me totally freak out over nothing. read more

Michelle and Angela are the two dental hygienists I recommend. Both are excellent at their job and friendly. The new office is wonderful and easy to get to without much traffic! I had another great appointment with Dr. Dorilag. He took the time to answer all my questions and tell me what the plan is for the next year. No rushing here, they really care about their patients! So glad to see Melissa is back at the front desk/insurance (I missed her last time I went in). She is a genius with the insurance and billing and takes time to explain everything in terms you can follow. Plus, while the procedure I need isn't covered they waived all the optional parts (when they could have just pretended they were necessary) and gave me a discount if I pay all at once - saving me about 30% or $2,000. If you want to be left in EXCRUCIATING PAIN WITH NO MEDICATION TO HELP, this is the dentist for you! Went in for an emergency extraction due to a sinus infection spreading to a bad tooth. I have had a HORRIBLE experience with dentistry so I have a ton of anxiety. However, I was in such excruciating pain, I was desperate. First, Dr Wong suggested that I continue on antibiotics and she could refer me to a sedation dentist. I asked if she was able to remove the tooth because I truly need to get well. I have been suffering with this for way too long. Although I was anxious, I was not going to allow myself to punk out and not do it. I didn't expect it to be painless and it definitely was EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL as she could not get it numb. It was HORRIBLE. Once removed, she asked me if I wanted a bone graph. I have plans of a full mouth restoration, so it made sense to do it. My concerns were 1. financial 2. WOULD IT BE PAINFUL? After giving me a $1500.00 price tag, on top of the $260 for the extraction- I reluctantly agreed, again asking if it would be painful- I just couldn't deal with any more of it. She LIED AND SAID IT WOULD NOT BE PAINFUL- That the worst of it was over. She proceeded with the bone graph that was TORTURE- I was not numb and on a scale of 1-10, definitely a 9.5! Terrible. She got done and then went on to attempt to change the antibiotics that I am already taking to a Z Pack. I had already explained to her that this issue originated with a sinus infection that I have been battling for 6 weeks. It travelled to my ear, throat and tooth- I was getting better until I was given a Z pack. I explained that every single time I have ever taken one (at least 4 times in my life) that it DOES NOT WORK and I only get sicker. I had to BEG HER to keep me on an antibiotic that would work. It was a whole argument. Then I asked her for pain medication. I was seriously SUFFERING- She told me she would give me MOTRIN. I asked her if she was really going to allow me to suffer, she looked directly at me Nd said YES. ZERO COMPASSION. I asked her to run a DEA report- I have not filled a narcotic prescription in more than TEN YEARS- obviously NOT a drug seeker or addict. Just a mom with 2 kids that needs to be able to care for them and work. She literally told me to call back in 24 HOURS IF I WAS STILL IN PAIN. I told her that I was ACTIVELY IN PAIN- had been taking ibuprofen, Tylenol and even found pain meds from when I had a C section almost 11 years ago under my bathroom sink,took them. as well! I asked her about the middle of the night- She said I should be FINE. SHE LIED. I was NOT OKAY, NOT AT ALL. As soon as the numbing wore off it was HORRIFIC- I couldn't do anything but lay there crying all night long. I spent almost two thousand dollars to be TORTURED, LIED TO and then left to SUFFER with MOTRIN. I wouldn't wish the pain I am in on my worst enemy- I wonder if she would want her mother or sister treated so horribly! I do NOT suggest going to her if you don't want to be lied to and upsold while in a vulnerable position, in TREMENDOUS PAIN. Then literally be treated worse than an animal- We don't let animals suffer like that but for whatever reason, this woman could look right at me, LIE TO ME TO GET ME TO SPEND $1500 and deny me proper pain management! She KNEW I was hurting- She had the xrays in front of her- Just DISGRACEFUL that she is okay with it- It was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I have not slept in over 24 hours and the pain is ridiculous! Do yourself a favor and go to a dentist with a HEART. Dr. Wong is OBVIOUSLY IN IT FOR YHE MONEY-Not fo HELP PEOPLE! DISGUSTING, DISGRACEFUL WAY TO TREAT A HUMAN BEING, after taking ALOT of their money. Shame on you! There are a lot of decent dentists out there- If your in pain, and appreciate intefrithis is NOT the dentist to go to. Extremely overpriced and definitely not there to care for you properly during an emergency. My mouth took over a month to heal!
