    Jerk chicken and rice.
    Salvatore D.

Driving around aimlessly looking for a place to eat, saw this spot, and decided to give it a try. At first glance you can tell this is a mom-and-pop style restaurant. The family's polite and sociable elementary-aged boys were doing their homework at a table while mom and dad worked the restaurant. The boys even "helped" me pick out a soda, haha. The menu itself doesn't seam to be full of Caribbean specific dishes, but I assume they are made in a Caribbean style. The specials, however, are 100% Caribbean. I went with the jerk chicken with red beans and rice, and I'm glad I did. The chicken was covered in a delicious sauce/gravy... It was spicy, flavorful, and a perfect match for the rice. I do have to say though, by itself the gravy was a little salty, but heaven when mixed with the rice. Apparently their lunch specials come with a can of soda and are only $6.00 with tax. Great deal for the amount of food you get. I had a chance to briefly talk to one of the owners and she said they so a lot of catering and to-go orders. She even said I can call ahead so she can have the food waiting for me when I get there - so I don't have to wait for her to make it (even if I dine-in). Overall, I'm glad I found this spot and will probably be back :)

This restaurant is extremely tasty! The food is authentic & the owners are very attentive! I love the turkey Tasso, rice, sweet plantains & pepper shrimp. The food has a lot of flavor! Each dish has its own identity with amazing spices. My Tasso was sooo crispy! I loved it. It held all of the juiciness inside as well as had a beautiful aroma. I will be back very soon for a nice home cooked meal!

We started with the mushroom appetizer with horseradish sauce and the coconut shrimp -- both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the seafood to the appetizers. The atmosphere feels super cozy and homie, like an old fisherman's bar, with fish all over the walls that really give the place character. Our server, Leah, was amazing -- so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu. She helped us decide what to order and made us feel right at home. We had the stone crab and crab claws, and everything was excellent. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

The dining room is very large and plain and not at all fancy. Our server was polite but she forgot to order my appetizer and didn't provide the separate checks that we requested. We all had versions of the all-you-can-eat scallops. And we never got a second plate because the first one was filled with about a dozen or more large ones. And no matter what special you get, you are allowed some catfish with it. So, of course, we each had a fillet. It was the best part of the meal. While the scallops were decent, we were not fans because they were fried, and a bit dry. The fried catfish was crunchy but flavorful. As to the sides, the cole slaw is good. The collard greens were average. The baked sweet potato was very mushy, and the French fries needed to be crisper. The hush puppies were addictive. If you like large or plentiful portions, add a star, because your belly will surely be full. I couldn't finish my scallops or the extra piece of catfish that I had requested. And you're not allowed any doggie bags with the all-you-can-eat offers. We certainly didn't have room to try any desserts. Two entrees at $35.99 each, one alcoholic drink, tax, and tip was $115.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

Most importantly of all, though, the food is top notch. Everything I had, I loved. We ordered the set menu and I highly recommend it. We started with three delicate small bites - sashimi, beets with caviar, and liver. All were delicately put together with a pleasant flavor and nothing too overpowering. Next, we had a large sampling of different items, hummus, babaganoush, muhammara, pickled cauliflower, an incredible olive oil, a beef tallow edible candle, and one of the best homemade hot sauces I have ever had. Then, we had the main course, a perfectly done branzino, and the best beef I have ever had in my life, their waygu beef skewers. Finally, their dessert was sophisticated and so well done. I very highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience in all of the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area!

The potatoes were so crispy and delicious and paired perfectly. Other standouts were the branzino, octopus, and pavlova. All in all, this was one of the greatest meals I've ever had and I highly recommend!
