We tried a couple of varieties of the peruvian classic drink, Pisco Sour... once traditional and one with a mango twist. They were very good (not my thing but very good for what they are). We shared one of their ceviches (amazing) I ordered Tacu Taco with chicken and my husband got some seafood dish; I can't remember what it was called but I know we could've shared one dish since the servings are huge. I ordered the shrimp ceviche, which was fresh and flavorful, and the filet mignon lomo saltado. The steak was a bit tough to chew, but the flavor of the sauce was spot on and really well seasoned. Overall, despite the slight delay with the dishes, I enjoyed the meal and would come back to try more. Their Peruvian-Asian fusion options sound especially interesting, and I'd love to explore more of the menu.

I desired Haitian food because in California it is almost non-existent. Plus, my dad's side of the family are haitians. So it's in my DNA, and let's go. We came shortly before they opened, and we placed our orders. I ordered the fried fish dinner, and it came with plantains, pikliz, rice, and a salad. My cousin ordered the pork dinner, and he chose the same sides that I did. The vibe inside was very chill and the speakers were jamming some amazing Haitian music. I first met Chef Juliette during a visit from DC in September 2025. My best friend introduced us, and immediately I felt the love of a mother and the passion of a seasoned chef who genuinely loves what she does. And that passion? We stopped by to pick up a catering order for an event, and Chef Juliette sent us off with pork chop sandwiches so big--and so good--I barely touched the catering food that day (thank goodness for to-go boxes and a freezer). I was able to bring back BBQ chicken, ribs, and the "Turn It Up Rice"--which is out of this world. Perfectly cooked rice layered with crisp vegetables, shrimp, chicken, and brisket... smoky, flavorful, and such a creative spin on fried rice. Then, the day after, Chef invited us back for a VIP experience--and when I say the love is real, y'all... it's real!
