2 orders of curry chicken w/white rice. 1 with cabbage and plantains. The other with Mac n cheese.

Let's start with the service: Mildred had PATIENCE! It was my first time and she allowed me to taste the curry chicken because my spice level is in the trash! So thank you for that! Sydia, he said I have fresh curry chicken, give me 5 minutes! I love that! Plates were heavy as you can see. Grand total was: $40. Food was 4/5. If you are a BAKED Mac n cheese lover, I doubt you like it. It had the crisp at the top but it was very moist. I like stove top, so it was up my ally! Cabbage was AMAZING! Curry chicken was moist, wish I had a lil more gravy for the rice. Food was laid out! So much to choose from! It is a dine in area too. Bathroom was clean. Not a bad spot at all. I also did get coco bread, warm. Overall: pretty good!

Stew Oxtail w/ Rice & Peas, Fried Plantain, and Conch Fritters - Rating 5/5

Absolutely delicious. The meat of the oxtails were tender and seasoned very well sitting in a tasty savory gravy. Paired with the rice &peas and sweet fried plantains, this was a more than satisfying weekend lunch. I recommend the conch fritters as well (arguably the best that I've had up here so far).

A few weeks ago, the cost for two beef patties was a little over six dollars, however, today, they're over eight dollars and a lot thinner. My last fucking time eating here!

Absolutely fantastic food! I've been going to this restaurant for over 10yrs now and after all of this time, they are still serving some of the best food around. I'm currently fasting, so I opted for veggies today. I had the 3-veggie plate with collard greens, red beans & rice, and the chickpea-potato mix--everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Truly delicious Caribbean/Jamaican comfort food. The staff were very friendly, the service was fast and excellent, & they even let me try a small sample before I ordered. I'll definitely be back!

I've had some spectacular Caribbean food in the Atlanta area. Unfortunately, Caribbean Fiesta does not match the quality of some of the other places that I've been to, but there are certainly various reasons to give this place a visit. For starters, they utilize the cafeteria style concept, in which all the food is laid out in front of you and you can essentially grab and go in no time at all. There are a ton of different options and almost too many items to choose from. Not to mention, they tend to pile your box up high with tons of food. In theory, I totally dig this. What Caribbean Fiesta gives in terms of speed and quantity, they definitely take away in terms of quality. Perhaps I am misjudging my representation of the food because most of my Caribbean food experience is via Jamaican food, but the food here lacks the oomph that Jamaican food definitely has. What I mean by that is that Jamaican food has bold flavors, hot flavors, flavors that excite your taste buds. The flavors of Caribbean Fiesta on the other hand are muddled down and lack the zing on your tongue. The first time I visited I got their jerk chicken, which honestly wasn't even really jerk chicken (not to be mistaken with their jerk wings, those seem legit). It was a pot of chicken that looked as if it had been stewed in a green-ish liquid. The chicken had good texture, but there was almost no jerk seasoning and the sauce didn't have enough flavor to compliment. Their brown stew chicken is the same thing, but the sauce (which is meant to be in this dish) just didn't have enough flavor. Their sides are solid though, I enjoyed their cabbage, rice and beans and green beans. The service has been solid whenever I've visited. Just recently, I had to ask the woman working the counter to open every container and explain the dish and she did so with a smile. I can certainly appreciate that! If you're looking for high quality Caribbean food, I'd look elsewhere. However, Caribbean Fiesta is the spot to visit if you want a hearty and quick meal. They will certainly have something you're in the mood for!

Quick service and very good home style jerk chicken with all the fixings. Good music on and will come back!

A must! Don't let the looks fool you, this place is amazing. I was in the area for a Cinnabon when I came across this place. We decided to stop in and give it a look. The food sits in hot plates so it's not usual way food is served but boy is it good. There are about 15 things to choose from aside from dessert and drinks. The food is so flavorful and tender. The gentleman helping us was patient, helpful and confident in his food. There were plenty drinks, desserts, indoor seating, and outdoor parking. You have to try this place. A must.

I've Ben to this restaurant before, but had only gotten a beef patty. Today I stopped by for lunch. I was browsing the meats and nothing really stood out so I ordered the red snapper, rice & beans, and plantain. This meal was $20. I couldn't believe how much they charge for so little food. I asked if I could eat inside and the lady said yes. They have some tables blocked off and other spread out for social distancing. I was not pleased with my food. The fish was dry! I will not be coming to this restaurant again.

The location is not close to us, so we drove a considerable distance to get there. When we entered, a gentleman greeted us. Because the menu listed the oxtails at "market price," I asked him how much the meal cost, and he quoted one price. Shortly afterward, a woman came over and told me that was not the correct price and gave me a higher price. I honestly should have followed my first instinct and left, but my son was hungry and we had already made the drive, so we decided to place an order. The woman allowed us to sample some of the food, and based on the sauce, it seemed acceptable. However, I was surprised to learn that an oxtail meal costing more than $30 only included the meat, rice and peas, and one additional side. Any other side was an extra charge. Most Jamaican restaurants I have visited include rice, meat, and two sides, especially at that price point. The container was also quite small for the amount being charged. After adding a beef patty and a drink for my son, the total came to more than $40. Unfortunately, the taste and portion size did not justify the price. I have had much better oxtails from another nearby restaurant that provides a larger portion and two sides for a better value. What disappointed me most was the customer service. The woman's attitude and demeanor changed when I asked questions about the pricing, portions, and sides. As a paying customer, I should be able to ask reasonable questions without being made to feel rushed or as though I am causing a problem. My overall rating would be approximately 4 or 5 out of 10 for the food, 0 out of 10 for customer service, and 2 out of 10 for the atmosphere. I was truly hoping to find a good, authentic Jamaican restaurant for the days when I do not have time to prepare Jamaican food myself, but unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations.

We have been to many a tapas places in Atlanta and this one is middle of the road at best. However this biggest issue we had was the birthday celebrations. I thought these went out long ago, especially for a place that serves $16 cocktails. It was not just singing and clapping, they have bang on pots and pans. It is loud enough with the concrete floors and high ceilings. There must have been at least 5 of these while we were there. Very annoying. I doubt anyone would miss them. The Bacon Wrapped Dates were some of the best I've ever had. The bacon itself was noticeably high quality and perfectly cooked, which made all the difference. Combined with the sweet dates and glaze, the dish was absolutely outstanding. We both got the Apples & Blue Cheese Salad with serrano ham, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for summer. My friend loved her shrimp tacos as well. The service was warm, attentive, and just super friendly. We sat on the patio and had a relaxing lunch despite the summer heat. Being in the heart of busy downtown Alpharetta, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but that's simply part of the territory and certainly not a knock on the restaurant itself. This wasn't a full dinner experience, just a quick stop while we were in the area, but it definitely lived up to the hype. I'm already looking forward to coming back, spending more time, and exploring the rest of the menu.
