It's quite an unsuspecting Cuban restaurant! But they definitely mostly serve regulars and it helps to know a little Spanish as most servers admitted English wasn't the best, though they tried their best! We ordered the mofongo (cooked plantain), boliche asado (Cuban pot roast), and the chicken Milanese. The chicken is definitely Cuban as there was some ham in between the layer of cheese and chicken. Everything was pretty good except the chicken came undercooked in the middle. They were really apologetic and remade the entire dish which was a nice gesture. The portion size was also very generous and we were so full after finishing! The decor is very old school but it was clean and simple.

Went to eat here during a visit to Miami. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. I just think that for the location this place is overprice. We spent $100 during lunch for 3 people and didn't drink alcohol. I had the fried fish and it was great. The ambience was nice and family oriented.

Food was amazing. We tried a cuban tamale, beef empanada, shredded chicken with rice and beans, The Miami cuban sandwich and sweet plantains. Service was great, very attentive waitress and the manger came to check on us as well. 10/10 recommend

Mediocre to Ok!! Service is slow. The owners walking around casually and only has one lady at the window/ lotto window/front of restaurant doing everything and no one is helping her trying to attend 10 people. Food is ok . Cuban and Latin food. They have good frituras se bacalao

Cubano Especial! So good. Get it.

Great food. Great service. Great prices. Can't beat it. Authentic Cuban food. I chose this place in Miami over the others. I picked well. Also the Cuban Coffee is fire.

This is a cheap eats favorite among the locals. I love the options something for everyone. Come super hungry, no problem, you will still leave with another meal of leftovers. The portions are beyond huge at some of the cheapest prices. This is where the locals come after work, during lunch, first thing for breakfast or with the whole family. Tables are easily moved around to accommodate the whole family, even the high chairs are readily available. Again, servers try to speak English and the menu is bilingual. If you can speak Spanish, great, but no worries, point and ask for your meal in English and the service will still be friendly. These servers are trained to make sure you have a full glass of water, and fresh warm Cuban bread. Need something else, just look up, someone will come over and get it for you. Don't forget the desserts too. As a Yelper, you get a free one when you spend $15 which is probably a meal for two. I must say the breakfast is my favorite meal here for the omelettes are huge and you can see and taste all the ingredients. Again dinner is good too, with large portions, but I do favor their Spanish breakfast. Great service, Fantastic prices, and delicious food! Excellent!

I haven't been here in a while. They used to make great food. Went today with my mom and grandma, the waitress did an excellent job. Unfortunately the food wasn't as great as before. My mother ordered cod fry ( Fritura de Bacalao) now I am not sure if they were old or if they knew how actually make this but it was terrible. You couldn't cut into it and it didn't taste anything like cod fish. The sauce that it comes with in my opinion has to much horseradish. I ordered two Colombian empanadas. One meat and the other chicken. It looked good they had just come out of the frier. Now the Ernest empanada didn't taste like anything and the meat was gray. I was to scared to taste the chicken cause on the inside it looked terrible. My grandmother order the Yellow Rice with Chicken ( Arroz con Pollo) she barely touched it. I tried it and it didn't taste like Anything, it just had a weird aftertaste. My mother ordered ground beef with white rice and black beans. Also terrible the ground beef didn't look or taste like ground beef. It didn't even have the texture of ground beef. The black beans were probably from cans because they didn't have any flavor and it had a sour after taste. I think they might have gone bad. I had the Mofongo with pork chunks. It's was good, they gave you a lot of pork. The pork tasted really good and the mofongo was alright. I won't be back because the food is definitely not worth it. No he estado aquí en mucho tiempo. No podías cortarlo y no sabía nada a bacalao.

After searching for a spot close to my hotel, this place seemed good enough to get food to go. It seemed busy which is always a good sign in my opinion. Ordered at the window and it came out within a good ten minutes. I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and plantains. Portions are huge, and of course I had leftovers for the next day! Everything was cooked perfectly. Also got a juice but it tasted too sugary and didn't taste fresh enough. I'd come back!

Loved it! They seem to have some issues keeping orders straight, the brought out the wrong sandwich the first time and I heard many other folks whose orders weren't right but that's pretty minor to me. If I was doing takeout I'd just make a note to check the order before you leave. I (eventually) got the Cuban sandwich and it was great! This sandwich could easily feed two people along with a side, I didn't order any sides and barely finished it. Easily 1/2 to 3/4# of meat, melted swiss, and mustard with just enough pickles to give it some acid to cut through all the protein (maybe just a few more pickles would have been good, but no complaints). Staff were all wonderful and very kind! This place is going on my list for future visits. They have a list of daily specials and it is basically a new menu every day in and of itself, I want to try it all

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too. Nice vibe, good energy, and perfect for walking around before or after eating... which you will probably need to do after finishing that burger. The servers were good -- friendly, attentive, and thankfully didn't judge us for attacking the food like we hadn't eaten in three business days. Overall the place has a fun atmosphere, great Cuban comfort food, and the kind of menu that makes you want to come back just to try the things you didn't order the first time. Highly recommend... just be prepared to leave full and slightly considering a nap. 10/10 would happily destroy another Cuban sandwich there again.

The roasted pork was tender, juicy, and packed with savory garlic-forward flavor. The crispy edges added a nice contrast in texture, and the mojo-style seasoning brought everything together with a bright, citrusy punch. It was comforting, flavorful, and paired really well with the traditional sides. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the dining experience smooth even during a busy time. The vibe is lively and colorful, with a nostalgic Cuban café atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel festive and welcoming. It's a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone looking to enjoy classic Cuban comfort food. Overall, a really solid Cuban meal with bold flavors and generous portions. I'd come back to try more of their traditional dishes and cocktails.
