While waiting for a friend who was at an appointment upstairs, I wandered down and found Ambrosia. I was lucky. I found a clean setting that offered a very pleasant view (ok...a little snowy and windy) and two employees who were polite, eager to assist and smiling. I enjoyed a hot chocolate (with a touch of rasberry as I recall) and a fresh chocolate/chocolate chiip muffin...which was warmed by one of the staff members. This is not a setting that's going to generate tons of cash. However, it is definitely a place that likely generates pleasant surprises, and positive guest reactions. Congratulations!

We only had a few minutes to spare and thought, why not, let's treat ourselves. Best decision. The banana bread was hands down the best I've EVER had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I now feel like I need this in my life at least once a week....which is slightly dangerous. The space itself was busy, but there was still plenty of seating, and so many pastries and drinks to choose from. We had someone meeting us who was a little worried about parking, but there's a separate entrance (away from the mall) and plenty of spots, which makes it super easy. I'll be honest, the service didn't wow me, but the quality of the food more than made up for it, so it's still a five star experience in my book. Just something to know going in. All of them were amazing, but the egg coffee is my personal favorite. It's incredibly creamy, unique, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. They also have a great selection of pastries, including gluten free options. The shop itself is on the smaller side and located in a strip mall with a decent amount of parking. Because it's cozy, seating can fill up quickly during busy times, so don't be surprised if it's standing room only when you walk in. Their mobile ordering system is also super convenient. They have walk up service where you order at the counter and I just wanted a simple iced almond latte. I waited 20 minutes for it. And I was not the only one. The young girl at the front counter finally had to go in the back to find the barista because a lot of people were waiting for drinks. It's summer so a lot of iced drinks being ordered but they were not prepared and they ran out of lids for their iced cups so were using regular cups. And the latte literally just tasted like cold almond milk. :( I was already running late for my hair appointment because of the long wait so didn't have time to go back in to get them to remake it.
