Spa review- Visited the spa during spa month for a massage and to spend the day. It was busy and crowded at times with large groups that were typically loud and not respectful in the space. The amenities are great, I particularly loved the heated salt chairs and hot tub. My masseuse was skilled and paid attention to the right areas. The changing room was clean and attendants kept up and were located in the spa which is nice as opposed to trying to track them down. The pool was beautiful but I opted for the beach. There were two servers so it did take quite some time to flag them down and waiting on drinks but overall, enjoyable time. Also, I did take a wrong turn and ended up going to north tower at some point and was locked outside until someone came out so basically exit to the pool the way you came in where valet is. I grabbed lunch in the store downstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the wrap I had. read more

**Very disappointing experience for a birthday at a luxury resort** I specifically chose Carillon Wellness Resort for my birthday because of its reputation as a luxury wellness resort and because I expected exceptional service. Unfortunately, the customer service surrounding our massage appointments was extremely disappointing. Nearly an hour before our appointments, we called because we were stuck in traffic and knew we might be late. The first employee told us it was completely fine and that they would see us when we arrived. When we called again later because the traffic had gotten significantly worse, the same employee told us we could move our appointments and that there were several available time slots. We were told we could make the change at the front desk. Because we were still stuck in traffic, we called again to try to secure a new time before the available appointments were taken. A different employee then told us that we could not move the appointments over the phone and that we would each have to pay the full price of the massage to move them. This was completely different from what we had previously been told. When we asked to speak with someone who could help us, we were transferred to Ledner. His response was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he told me, "I can't help you. It's a weekend. It's busy. Do you know that it's Saturday?" He initially said no supervisors were available because they were all in a meeting. When I asked if I could wait and leave a message, he became agitated and tried to end the call. Only after I insisted that I was not finished speaking did he transfer me to a supervisor. I then spoke with Natalie the manager and explained everything. Despite explaining that three employees had given us conflicting information and that we were dealing with a situation completely outside our control, I never received an apology or any real acknowledgment of the inconvenience. There had been a fatality crash directly in front of us on the Turnpike, leaving us stuck in traffic for more than two hours. We weren't casually running late or trying to change our plans--we were making every effort to communicate with the resort and find a solution. Ultimately, we were charged an $80 fee EACH to move our appointments. We could no longer have our massages together, and one of us had to downgrade from an 80-minute massage to a 50-minute massage without a refund or price adjustment. After all of this, we were offered "free resort passes for another day" as compensation, even though the resort still refused to waive the $80 fee. And spoiler alert we never ended up receiving those either. When I finally arrived, I also asked the front desk if I could speak with a supervisor. I was told the supervisor wasn't available, and I was never able to speak with one for the rest of the day. I understand that resorts have policies, but there should also be room for basic empathy and customer service when something completely unexpected happens. This was my birthday, and I chose a luxury resort specifically because I expected to be treated with care. Instead, the entire experience felt completely out of line with what I expected from a high-end property. This is one of those reviews where you'll have to rely on a thousand words instead of pictures, because photography wasn't allowed! We were looking into Miami Spa Month specials, to unwind after a hectic week. Besides, after work & working out it is nice to get pampered and relaxed. We booked a massage, where after weight and the excessive rowing from a certain gym my shoulder blades needed some extra work. I was told I "may" have snorer but my back felt much better. Being a native Miamian, I skipped the igloo room (I wouldn't be in that cold without my churros from La Carreta ;) but loved the dry Finnish sauna, as well as the Herbal Laconium with the relaxing aromatics. Definitely also try the rain shower room as well as the heated chairs! Though we didn't go to the hotel's private stretch of beach we loved the ground level and attendant Seaglass Bar. The water in the pool was very clear and refreshing enough to beat the midday sun and sauna heat. The poolside bar kept us hydrated with Pinot Grigio for her, mojitos for me as well as mimosas when we pulled up. Foodwise, their bucket of truffle fries makes for excellent poolside dining. Their margherita pizza saved us when we first arrived, as we got there after they had closed for brunch and lunch would have started when we were having our treatments. We were also able to enjoy the rooftop spa pool with its rock, bench, Jacuzzi and wonderful views of the Atlantic. We also noted they have a few mind / body type classes that may be fun to try. Towards the end of the day, I was so relaxed that I had forgotten leaving my glasses with my friend. In addition to the wonderful treatment and friendly service during the overall spa experience, the employees were also very helpful in trying to find where I may have left them. Overall the spa is a 4. But the Shankara massage I received was a 2, so this review is a 3. Let's start with the positives though! The entire spa smells amazing, just the scents alone revitalizes you and leaves you feeling happy. I felt the staff were all polite and the facilities are clean. My partner and I enjoyed the crystal steam room, we thought that was a cool tough. Definitely worth visiting if you want to enjoy a spa day. The Shankara massage that I received was a major disappointment. I recently had a deep tissue massage so I opted for a gentle massage thinking this "Shankara" treatment was right for me. It felt like hocus pocus. I'm no stranger to half-baked massages, I've had terrible ones so my bar is very low. This shankara massage felt ineffective and I'd rather slap some oil on my back and let my cats make biscuits on me next time. My friend who frequents the Carillon tricked me into thinking this Shankara massage. She said it was going to align my chakra, but I wasn't given any instructions. All I was told was to breathe into 4 different essential oils 12 times. I also felt like I didn't receive the full 50 minutes, which is partially my fault for wearing a difficult dress struggling for 5 mins to get it off. (In other spas, the masseuse starts the timer from the moment they start the treatment and not count when the customer is still settling down). Hey guys! I wanted to share my experience. I have been trying to contact the spa and the hotel so many times, without any response. I spent a full day at your spa on 11/03, with a 50-minute massage and full-day access, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It was a truly wonderful experience, the massage, the spa facilities, the beach, and all of the staff were exceptional. I am a physician, and I came to Miami for a month to do a clinical rotation at Mount Sinai and also to go to a conference in Orlando. I had not had the opportunity to visit a spa in over eight years due to my demanding work schedule, it was my first time after 8 years I was giving myself a spa day. After a very stressful week in the hospital, this day meant a great deal to me as a moment of self-care and much needed rest. Unfortunately, the day took a very distressing turn when it was time to retrieve my car from the valet parking service. I handed my ticket to the attendant, who was kind and professional, as were two of the other valet employees. However, I noticed several guests who had arrived after me were receiving their cars while mine never appeared. After about 20 minutes, I politely asked one of the attendants if everything was okay. He said they were looking for my vehicle, but I didn't see anyone actively searching. As time went by, and with a private ride waiting to take me to Orlando for a medical conference, I became increasingly anxious. When I approached the valet desk again, I was told they could not find my car key, and I was asked if I had a spare (which I obviously did not, as I was visiting from out of town). It wasn't until my third time asking to speak with a manager and suggesting possible solutions myself that someone else finally came to assist. Around 7:00 p.m, almost an hour later, a valet finally arrived with my car, explaining that the key had been left inside the vehicle. This is not only deeply unprofessional but also a serious safety issue, as all of my belongings, including my stethoscope and personal items, were inside the car. Anyone could have accessed it. Because of this situation, I missed my private ride to Orlando and obviously the money I paid for it, I had to pay for an unplanned hotel night, and missed the morning sessions of my conference. Despite the gravity of the situation, only one valet apologized and basically I was just told that the car was there, that was it. It's extremely disappointing that such an incident occurred at a place known for its high standards of service and professionalism. What had been a perfect, restorative day ended in one of the most stressful experiences I've had in years. All the investment of time and money for this day was erased completely with this experience. I'm moving to Miami soon to begin working as a physician full time there, and I was genuinely excited to have found what I thought would become my regular spa. After this experience, however, I'm not sure I can trust returning. I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed seriously and if I could receive a formal response, as the consequences were significant both emotionally and financially. My toilet was broken for four days, and despite repeated requests, no one came to fix it. It was left in this condition the entire time, and the smell of sewage was unbearable. After four days, the only solution offered was to move me to another room -- and even then, no one assisted me with the move. This is completely unacceptable. I came here expecting to relax for 12 days, and this experience was anything but relaxing. I ate breakfast and dinner on-site, and out of roughly 30 meals, only two were prepared correctly on the first try. Nearly every time I went downstairs, I saw other guests complaining as well -- clearly this has become the norm. I later learned that the hotel recently changed management, and since being bought by a new company, the quality of service has significantly declined. read more

We enjoyed this hotel. Best experiences of our live. 50 minute massages were awesome. Love the swimming pools and jacuzzi. This is the type of paradise I have not had in a long time. We had good room with clean comfy sheets on the beds. Bathrooms were clean with no problems. Room service was great. We could not take pictures of anything, since no photography allowed. I have been enjoying the Miami Spa month for over a decade now (with a covid hiatus), and while nowadays the deals are often not as good as they used to be, this one is a top notch experience! I selected the Wellness Your Way Experience which includes a choice of massage, plus two Touchless Wellness treatments of your choice, from a long list of interesting treatments including Cryotherapy, infra-red sauna, meditation pod and more. The $199 package also includes access to the pool and beach, to the spa area with whirlpool, steam room, etc., as well as valet parking. You can really spend a full day relaxing in there, so I consider it a very nice deal. My masseuse (I think her name is Morella?) was awesome! She told me that she felt I need extra work on my upper back, and spent extra time and energy working on it, all without me asking for it! I also love the Wave Massage, which is a dry water massage. As you lie on the water bed, water jets under the rubber surface move around to massage you. It's kind of like the regular massage chair, but much more comfortable as the water jets are not as harsh as the massage heads in the chair, and they conform to your body better. Seriously if I win the lottery I will get one of this bed in my house. The staff are all very nice, and I like how they have slippers and robes in different sizes. There is tea in the waiting lounge, and packs are nuts are available for the asking. Don't forget to bring swimsuit so you can enjoy the amenities. They have a little dryer that can spin dry your swimsuit before you leave. read more

Recently stayed at the Carillon for a relaxing and restorative long weekend. The hotel, spa, and grounds did not disappoint! Let's start with the room: The room is arranged as a suite with a full kitchen (including fridge, dishwasher, etc), living room, and separate bedroom with en suite bath and we had a balcony with views of the spa pool and the ocean. I loved the room! The bed was very comfy and the balcony was perfect for lounging. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom seemed a little dated and hard to use, but once we figured it out, it was no problem. There was no bottled water in the room, but we called down and they immediately sent up several. The restaurants and service at the restaurants was top notch. We ate at the Strand a few times and it was very good. I tried the salmon poke bowl for lunch and it was the perfect meal before hitting the beach. For dinner, we tried the ribeye, crab cakes, carrots, and the tiramisu. For brunch, we tried the deviled eggs, crab cakes florentine, baklava sticky buns, and the carbonara burger. Everything was very good but the deviled eggs and sticky buns were my favorite. We also got to dine at the Tambourine Room. It was such an intimate and fun dining experience! My personal recommendation: the menu offers more than enough food without ordering the additional add-ons. We added on the pasta and I was SO FULL. But my favorite course had to be the langoustine. Yum! The staff was so attentive and they were a joy to talk to throughout the experience. For both restaurants, I can't say enough about the friendly and accommodating staff. They really made us want to keep coming back! To discuss the grounds and the beach, hotel guests have access to two pools - one through the spa and another closer to the beach. The beach pool was a bit crowded while we were there, but the hot tub was less crowded. This pool is definitely more of a lively vibe. The spa pool was much more chill. They also have classes in this pool, but in general, it was nearly empty every time I checked it out. The beachfront area was nice. They offer beach service for hotel guests (chairs, towels, umbrella, food/drink ordering). I saved the spa for last because I absolutely LOVED it. I got a massage and a facial there and both services were awesome and incredibly relaxing. It was my first time getting a facial and the esthetician talked me through the process and explained all of the steps she was taking and the products she was using. The spa also offers an amazing thermal experience circuit with hot and cold showers, foot bath, sauna, and more. The staff in the spa is also super friendly and helpful. There's also a coffee machine and delicious snacks to keep you nourished while you're relaxing. During our stay, we didn't leave the resort grounds because we felt so at home while we were there. If you're looking for a hotel and spa to have a relaxing getaway and to eat some good food during the process, this is it! read more

Let me begin by saying I have stayed here at least 20 times over the last 15 years. As many recent reviews state, there is a marked decrease in service. After I booked my stay, my return flight was cancelled and the only other flight was the next day. Not a big deal, I locate the confirmation email, REPLY to it (this is important) and ask to extend my stay one more day. I receive back a confirmation. However, the day before I'm supposed to leave my room key is deactivated. The front desk tells me my stay has ended and they have no record of me requesting the extension. I produce the email but its validity is questioned. Despite it being a REPLY to the original confirmation I'm told it's not even the hotel's email address. The front desk will not budge despite incontrovertible proof. Instead , I must book the additional stay as a new one night reservation at $1400 a night (I had been paying $700 a night). Having no choice, I agreed but reserved the right to challenge it. He says he'll look into it further. I stop by the next day to inquire but get the same story only now it's delivered with suspicion as if I made this whole thing up to commit a fraud. It's completely outrageous to treat a 20 time returning guest this way. Of course, no further emails receive responses. Phone calls go to voicemail and are not returned. Customer service is atrocious but until then I was very happy with the stay. It just ended with spectacular disappointment. read more

The pool and ocean front was peaceful and tranquil, just the respite we needed after big pushes at work and school. Above all this resort was calm and quiet, with no alarming noises clambering from the next room or the hallway. You will not be sorry... Wow. What a colossal disappointment our stay has been. I strongly recommend against staying here. Now- let me be clear about many points. My husband and I are staying here in a condo/suite via an airbnb for a week. So we didn't book via the hotel property. But what has been extremely interesting to us has been to compare how very negative this hotel/spa/service experience has been for a "luxury hotel" vs when we stay at other luxury hotels like Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, who clearly KNOW service and guest experience. This is a lovely property-- definitely areas showing some wear and tear but overall, it's lovely. We arrived on our first day very early like 9am way too early to check in. So we checked our bags and headed to Strand for breakfast. We were seated promptly outside -- but it took at least 5 minutes for a server to get to us. The food was quite delicious and our server was very friendly. That was good. Now- our suite/room I won't comment as much on that here, because that is the responsibility of the airbnb owner...they definitely need to do some updating. What made me run here to Yelp to write this review was our experience last night. We go to bed pretty early, and much to our horror, we were awakened at 3AM by the loud sound of what seemed to be a power drill in the wall or floor above us -- think about that. 3AM-- someone doing construction work?? Made no sense? At first I thought I was dreaming then I realized my husband was up too and he heard the noise and then I realized it was not stopping. I sat up in bed to listen as did he and we realized the sound was above us. We get out of bed, go outside to the large patio that comes with this suite. We look up and sure enough, all the lights in the room above us are ON. We stood out there waiting to see if we could see someone and more importantly what they were doing - I then put my robe on went downstairs and told the woman at the front desk. She said she'd "call security". This morning, I go to the front desk and ask to follow up, I want to find out what the deal was and to ensure I won't have to hear loud drilling the rest of my stay. The first woman I tell this to says "Ma'am I'm just reservations I don't handle security that's a security issue if you want I can call and leave them a message". ZERO CONCERN. zero empathy. Treated me like a fly that was annoying her. I then went to the man who arrived at his desk next to her-- asking if he might assist....it got worse. He looked the room up (above us) and said "well, no one has been in that room for the past 2 days and I can assure you that engineering is not going to start working in the middle of the night but they are scheduled to start working today on that room"-- I said, "are you suggesting I'm making this up?" he said no but you'd have to take this up with the airbnb people over in the residences area. I said how would that help? I asked if they had sent anyone in the room to investigate..I told him our experience and that we went out on our balcony and that the lights in that room were ON and that there was EXTREMELY LOUD electric like DRILLING IN THE FLOOR type noises-- there is no other way to describe it-- if you knew no one was in the room why not go in the room to investigate? He said "well we show no one was in there and we know no one would be in there drilling at that time" and I said "so you are accusing my husband and I of making this up? We just decided to wake up at 3am both of us and make up some story-- why?? " I am just so frustrated that I didn't think to take my phone out on the balcony and take a pic of the room above us with its lights on time stamped at 3am to prove my point. But the fact that this man treated my husband and I like FREAKS and did zero investigation into what could be a serious matter in who knows what way...we know we didn't imagine it. I plan to ask the people in the room next to us if they were also disturbed, I have to believe they were. But I'm sure if you read this you can see, this is a property where the staff is not trained in much of anything. It's not what you get at a Ritz or a Four Seasons. I mean, truthfully, we are looking forward to checking out and getting home and that's because of the hotel, the staff and the airbnb situation we are in. I had to share this to prevent others from the same . Not worth it. Plenty of other fabulous hotels and resorts in Miami to choose from. Take a look at the reviews-- no response from the hotel "management" because none of them know how to manage and probably won't be working here in a week. read more

This is my 3rd time at Carillon Spa the last two experiences were great but my last experience was chaotic. Very hard to book, the staff was not as friendly as before, the pool service was the worse part, we had to ask three times for service when it finally arrived the drink was mainly Ice and the food was burnt, we try calling the staff to assist us but they ignored us. I will not recommend this service any more to anyone. This placed changed drastically we couldn't even take the ropes down like we used before. When we asked they say they implemented new policies. This spa is so awesome! From the moment I checked in everyone was so kind. I wish I had the name of the young lady who checked me in she was a doll. Once I was checked in and given my keycard and pool/beach access wristband I was greeted by Barbara who gave me a tour of the locker rooms and the amenities. They have tea and water available. My masseuse was awesome, I opted for the hot stone massage and I'm so glad I did. The massage also provides access to the hotels pool and private beach. I decided to go to the beach once my massage was over. I was given a chair, umbrella and table. I ordered from the beach restaurant, I ordered the prime beef burger and a non alcoholic mango daiquiri in a coconut. The food and drink were really good. This is the best spa that I've been to and I would highly recommend it. read more

Great amenities however the staff at the desk needs serious training and better guest etiquette. Yesterday we experienced a medical emergency and the staff was completely unhelpful. My mother had injured herself at the spa and the paramedics came, she needed stitches and was asking for her daughters. The staff refused to get my sister and I who were at the restaurant a floor below despite her asking for over an hour. When they finally contacted us and we ran upstairs the staff was standing around the desk talking instead of taking us to her. I left my card at the restaurant as we ran out before the food came. I asked if the staff could get it for me and explain to the restaurant that the food wasn't needed since I had to drive my mother to the hospital for her stitches. Four girls stood behind the counter, one said she would help but never did and after asking repeatedly for 35 minutes I had to rush to grab my card myself while trying to get my mother to the emergency room. the restaurant proceeded to charge me109 dollars despite the situation(We never ate any of the food!) and they said we were charged because they wrapped it to go on the way to the hospital. Her mouth was gushing blood did they really expect her to eat the food in a hospital bed?? Each person at this spa refused to communicate or take charge in handling a serious situation. ****Update as of next day I called the spa they told me to contact the restaurant manager myself if I want a refund. I'm writing to provide feedback regarding my visit to your spa on Friday, October 17. I arrived around 9:30 AM, and everything about the morning was exceptional. The staff was professional, welcoming, and sincere. The facilities were immaculate, the scent throughout the spa was calming, and the small touches -- like the coffee and cookies made the experience feel thoughtful and elevated. The two young women working by the pool that morning were especially genuine and truly represented the resort's hospitality. However, around 2:00 PM, right before my massage, the atmosphere completely changed. Two women entered the whirlpool area and began taking continuous photos and videos for several minutes, turning what should have been a peaceful, quiet environment into a disruptive scene. It was clear this behavior was inappropriate for a spa setting, yet it went unaddressed by staff even after another guest voiced concern. This was extremely disappointing not only because it interrupted what had been a flawless experience, but because it directly conflicted with the environment your resort promotes. After spending the entire day feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated, this situation took me completely out of that state. Guests come to Carillon to escape constant phone use and social media culture, not to see it carried into such a sacred space of rest and renewal. I'm sharing this because I truly value the quality of your resort and want to see it protected. I strongly encourage management to reinforce a no-phone or no-photo policy within the spa's relaxation areas, and ensure that staff are empowered to step in when this kind of disruption occurs. I had such an amazing stay at this hotel, so I'm a little surprised it only has 3.6 stars. Based on my own experience, this place is 5 stars. As soon as I entered the premises, the valet kindly greeted us and parked the car. Once I walked to the front desk, I was promptly helped and had an ease of checking in. The bellhop took care of our luggage. Got to the room and discovered we had a large sized patio with ocean views. It was amazing. Rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities and then some. To top it off, a stay at this hotel includes use of their spa amenities - which I used daily! And private beach access! They even set up lounge chairs and umbrellas for you which I greatly appreciated, especially looking further along the public beach area that was super crowded! The gym was also amazing and had all the equipment you could possibly need with all the cardio machines facing the ocean! This place is really a gem and I would absolutely stay again! read more

I can't get over how great the service was! It was my first time going to this resort and I didn't know where to go. The staff was so friendly and helpful and welcoming. It's rare in Miami to find that these days so it was definitely something I noticed and appreciated. The spa is amazing. Way bigger and nicer than expected. And I was able to go to the beach and order food and drinks. If anything, the beach service could be better - it was verrrryyy slow. Otherwise service was impeccable. I got a 50 min massage and next time I'm going for the 90 min because 50 min is not enough. Each sauna was worse than the last with a sour smell and stung her eyes. A lot of the equipment in the spa was broken "buttons" that didn't work. Foot rub was very unsanitary and wasn't cleaned when she tried to use it. The Jacuzzi area smelled like sh*t. She felt filthy walking out of there. We really enjoyed our spa day here. Loved all the things you could do. The igloo, jacuzzi, warm seats by the jacuzzi, aromatic sauna, steam room. There was a bit of wear around the facility such as the feet jacuzzi faucet was wobbly & slow to fill up. I would have given 4 stars but they are impossible to reach on the phone. Also, they got confused with my daughter's service & gave her masseuse to someone else. In the confusion, she lost 5 minutes of her service. My biggest pet peeve was there are signs asking to not use cell phones to disturb other guests. Several guests were really loud. My masseuse was wonderful & the front desk & staff were nice. What a fabulous day at Carillon! We took advantage of the Miami Spa month special and for $200 we received a 50 min rejuvenating massage, 2 touchless spa experiences, access to the spa facility all day, pool & beach access with chairs & service! Truly a deal - would definitely spend a day here paying full price because it is so worth it! Barbara the spa attendant was so amazing - she helped us all day from getting our lockers set up and guiding us to different areas of the spa facility. Kiki who was more downstairs near the actual massage/treatment area was fantastic! My friend and I truly had the most relaxing day. the spa facility itself is so clean and fully stocked with anything you could need to have the most perfect spa day. I loved the different showers and sauna/hot rooms with essential oils. my massage was truly amazing and the massage bed wasn't a normal bed.. it was full of tiny rocks that I laid on which was a different experience for me! it was glorious. the coconut oil they use was so light but effective and made my skin feel so good afterwards. I did the wave therapy and hand therapy for my touchless and both were great. After the spa we went outside for the beach and had a lovely lunch on the chairs underneath an umbrella. the staff at the beach were excellent. we spent a few minutes at the pool but there was so many kids so we decided to go back up to the spa. after the day the spa validated our valet parking. I am scheduled for a stay at the hotel and want to upgrade my room and book a spa package in later July, but have left 6 voicemails and 3 emails, of which NONE have been answered. I get in the automated loop, no one answers, and then makes me leave a voicemail that never gets returned. I am very hesitant to even keep my hotel reservation as no one ever answers the phone. I chose this spa for my daughters birthday because of the reviews on Google. Needless to say it was not even close to the reviews. The spa is run down and unkept. It is literally falling apart. The tiles are old, falling and moldy. The robes, are thin as paper. It is not relaxing at all, people on their phones. Lady who helps set you up was super unprofessional. Supplies such as toiletries are available, but you have to ask for them. According to staff people steal them. Masseuse spent the 50min talking, not relaxing. Would not recommend. I've been coming to this spa for years. Unfortunately, it has been hit or miss. By far, it had the best amenities of all the spas in Miami Beach. This passed weekend, I visited knowing it's a long weekend (which tends to result in poorer service in most establishments.) great news, thst was not the case. Unfortunately the express facial left me with scabs and burned me. On a positive note, I wanted to take a second to sincerely express my gratitude to Max and the massage I received from her. It was exactly what I expected from the caliber of service (and price paid for) and therapy the Carillon prides itself in. Not only did she arrive in advance of my appointment, for me not to feel rushed, she was hospitable, listened to my pain point areas, and delivered an outstanding service with the perfect intensity. I did the Himalayan salt rock massage. She worked my entire body leaving me feeling like a noodle but more specifically, my sciatic is like new. A plus: when booking, valet is complimentary and you get access to the pool and beach. Fun fact: there is also access to one complimentary canned cocktail and trail mix goodies. If you aren't going for Miami Spa Month, check Groupon for a deal. I was able to secure a Groupon for under $110 (which is cheaper than Miami Spa Month) for a 50 minute service with amenity access, valued at $345. The amenity access includes: beach access with a beach chair, access to the Atlantic pool (which is a salt water pool for adults only), the relaxation room prior/post service, and complimentary valet parking. So as it was such a great deal, I bought my husband one too. When I called to make the appointments, I was told that even though the Groupons were for one person each, we would be able to get our massages done in the same room, as a couples massage. I was happy to hear this because there was a Groupon for a couples massage, but it was more money than the individual Groupons doubled. And even though we picked different types of massages, we would still be able to have them done together, in the same room. I had the hydration massage and loved every minute of it! It felt really refreshing, as the massage was done with coconut oil and also included some type of foot scrub. My husband had the sports massage, and loved it too. The thermal hydrotherapy circuit was beyond amazing. It's not co-Ed, which has some advantages and disadvantages, when you're there with your spouse of the opposite sex. But we each spent about an hour and a half, experiencing the thermal hydrotherapy circuit. Everything in the woman's side was working but my husband said the steam room was down in the men's side. It's really hard to say what part was my favorite, as I loved everything there was to offer. We had a quick bite to eat at The Strand, and that was even good, despite the not so good reviews. If you're looking to eat while there for spa day, you can have lunch at the pool or lunch at The Strand. We also enjoyed a few minutes at the Atlantic Pool. We basically had the entire pool to ourselves as there was only 3 other guests, lounging on the chairs. The pool was the perfect temperature. And the view from this pool was beautiful. The women's locker room was being cleaned constantly by the staff. The locker room offers everything you'd need - showers with almost full length doors, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, brand new hair brushes and combs, different types of hair products, blow dryers, etc. This was really the best spa day I've ever had. read more

Miami Spa Month is between July and August; off course I take full advantage of it! Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is top notch! Staff is extremely kind and give the best professional service. Walking in always enter super stressed and leaving is just heavenly. From their beautiful beach views to their elegant interior and amenities. This is the luxury wellness experience you should at least once in your lifetime experience! The spa is unparalleled; like no other! Complimentary valet and access to the both their pool areas. In addition, you're allowed to stay the entire day so I always take advantage of their thermal lounge, foot spa, Finnish sauna, steam room, herbal laconium, jacuzzi and the list goes on. I had this time around a 90 minute massage; it was divine from start to finish. What's extremely unique for such a high caliber and luxury experience is an incredibly peaceful, unpretentious, care-free vibe about their entire premises. No phones allowed which is a blessing!
