The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. The restroom was clean and smelled good. I love the history of this place, especially the fact it existed during the Prohibition era. The owner and staff are so kind and eager to help with anything you need and tell you about the place. The food was amazing and fresh. The lasagna had the perfect amount of ricotta. The arancini was superb. Sean was my bartender. He made a mean Sidecar Italiano and I went back for 3 more. Carletti's is a wonderful addition to the OKC dining scene. The atmosphere is perfect, with cozy little seating nooks that make your meal feel intimate and private. It would be a great place for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. They also have a speakeasy called the Kentucky Club, where we enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. I ordered the lasagna, and it was delicious, loaded with rich, flavorful sauce and plenty of taste in every bite. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I'll definitely be back! read more

Made a 6:15 PM reservation approximately a week ago and got seated behind a bar. In my opinion, if you have the chance to request seating, I'd recommend a booth, a table by the window overlooking the road and greenery, or a table that is inside their "cargo" looking area that offers a more intimate feel. Didn't catch our waiter name, but he was very nice and explain the menu very thoroughly. Greeted with water and complementary bread (not sure what the name of it is) tasted delicious through its subtle garlic flavor. Our whole table started off with a side portion of Caesar salad, where we are greeted with a wedge of lemon that I have never tried before. The lemon adds exactly what it needs to, causing all of us to devour our salads before being greeted with our entree. (The salads had plenty of dressing, Caesar dressing was not too thick). Giovanni's meatball was massive, one of the guest at our table could not even finish it. Another guest at our table ordered the Alfredo Bianco, which looked divine and she confirmed that it was amazing (unfortunately I did not get a picture). Two of us had a spicy rigatoni, personally this is something out of my comfort zone because I'm not familiar with Italian food. I felt like my noodles were slightly hard, and I wish the food came out warmer. However, the taste was still amazing, the little meatballs had a lot of flavor. We ordered a side of seasoned mushrooms, which paired very well with it. We also ordered the rosemary frittes, the hint of rosemary and truffle caused it to be so addicting. I opted for the quartet as my dessert so that I could try the four cakes that they offer at the restaurant. Highly recommend these four spoonfuls of cake for only $10. read more

The restaurant itself is very stylish and cozy. However, the main course was lacking flavor. The Caesar salad was lemony and good, but the spicy rigatoni had zero flavor. 4.5 stars! We had a lovely anniversary meal here recently. The small private rooms allow for an intimate dining experience. Our server helped us pick just the right things for our meal. We started with the Crostini Misti, which I highly recommend. It would be perfect to share for about 4 people. Other highlights from our meal were the Alfredo Bianco and the Italian cream cake. Not sure how long this place has been here but it looks like it has been forever. The speakeasy vibe works great here. Had an early reservation for 6 PM and arrived a bit early. We were offered to hang out at the bar to wait. I would recommend just that. The view and the ambience is just spectacular. (Actually, I think the bar--The Kentucky Club--has been around a LONG time and the restaurant is relatively newish.) Bar staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. They were out of a few things like blackberries and a mixer but honestly, I didn't care because they were so nice. I loved the spritz options--you could get St-Germain, limoncello and, of course, Aperol. They had a few really good mocktails too. Most of the dining area is actually separated into little private rooms. (Reminded me of a a cozier and classier Pete's Place). The bread service was amazing as was the Italian salad I got. I ordered the pesto dish and it was OK. Their pesto includes basil AND parsley. It almost had a spinach-y taste. It was good but I would order something else next time like the spicy rigatoni. I LOVED the spoonful dessert options. I went with a tasting of all four--Lucia's Lemon Bar, Tiramisu, Palma's Torta Italiana, and a chocolate cake offering. Not a fan of the lemon bar--it had an artificial taste. The tiramisu and the Italian cream cake were the favorites around the table. The chocolate cake used a super dark chocolate so just be aware. Others around the table tried the lemon sorbetto and the salted caramel gelatto. The menu mentioned after dinner mints but we were not offered them. I would definitely go back!!! read more

We came for mothers day and man did I have throw memories when this was a BBQ place. I was so excited to see the updates and this unique restaurant to come back to life. The food was good, but not for what they are charging. I think they are charging more for the view, because the view out the windows is lovely. I got the pesto pasta and it was very tame and unique with a crunchy texture added. My hubby got the linguini I believe and liked it. I would be interested to try their lasagna, but I am so biased against most so probably not. But they offer many family recipe dishes and sauces making it a very homemade feel. I would probably go back, but on the fence because it is pasta with steak pricing. Little over the top. read more

We reserved a Saturday night to dine and go see the Big Red Cowboy Boot. 6 of us gathered at the bar before our time began. The bartender (she) was awesome. The atmosphere was festive. We were seated in a private both. Comfy with great acoustics where we could hear each other. Our waitress greeted us and let us know it was her second day. Boy, was it! Everything was slow from this point on. At one point she told us wine couldn't be served because they'd run out of glasses and were waiting on the dishwasher to catch up. The food- burrata ap and salads were good. The baked cod was disgusting and the chicken piccata was the worst recipe I've ever experienced in a restaurant. The dessert sampler was a mixed bag. The coconut and tiramisu were ok, the lemon was the only delicious item all night. They need a new chef because this is a cool location and building. Call me if you want my piccata recipe. read more

My work team visited for a holiday lunch and were very pleased with our meal and the service Rhiannon provided. We started off with the arancini and crostini appetizers. Both were really good, but I particularly liked the olive tapenade served with the crostini. The marinara with the arancini was also notable. For our entrees, a friend and I both ordered the ravaioli bolognese. I absolutely loved the dish. The bolognese had a touch of heat and was great, but the ravioli stole the show. I don't know if they were stuffed with a lemon ricotta, but they were lemony. The first bite surprised me, then I fell in love with the taste. The side Caesar was OK. I would probably go with the Italian salad the next time. Others ordered the gluten-free Alfredo and the duet with a half meatball sub. Everyone was pleased. For dessert, how could you not go with the quartet: spoons of their lemon bar, tiramisu, Italian cream cake and derby torta (chocolate cake). The lemon bar was wonderful with a nice tartness. I would also order the Italian cream cake and tiramisu. The derby cake was fine with a dark chocolatey sponge, but the others were so good as to eclipse it. There are so many things on the menu I'd like to try, and plan to return soon to begin further exploration. read more

Last week we had Sunday brunch at Carlettis. I had read a feature story in the Oklahoman about Carlettis and was excited. I was familiar with the venue form the days of County Line and more recently Gabriella's. I have many fond memories of eating Italian cuisine in Krebs, Oklahoma at Petes, Isle of Capri and Giacomos and was anxious for the experience. The layout has not changed much, if any, from earlier restrauants, previously mentioned, that occupied the space, and I think that's a good thing. The numerous small dining rooms provide intimacy and quiteness. It is tastefully decorated with family memorabilia representing their history and culinary traditions and experience. The vibe for Sunday brunch was subdued, somewhat mellow. I had intended to order eggplant parmsean, one of my favorites, but it's not available on their Sunday brunch menu so I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. Jan ordered Lasagna. The time between order and delivery was painfully slow. The pizza was OK. They use the small pepperoni called char pepperoni which are small disks which are thicker and curl up when cooked, thereby holding the oil produced during cooking. I did not care for the char pepperoni, hence I less than enthusiastic in response and opinion. Jan's lasagna was a disappointment. One end of the lasagna was dried out to the point of being hard and almost unchewable. Whoever plated the lasagna should have removed the dried out portion. Jan thought the lasagna was quite ordinary. I thought it was favorable. It was long on meet sauce and short on cheese. The service was average, the prices moderate. Just finished a wonderful meal on their first day, and compared to all the new restaurants we've been to lately, this was by far the smoothest experience. Also, one of the best atmospheres we've dined in recently. We were seated in a shared room with another couple, which made it feel semi-private and intimate. The food is rooted in recipes handed down through generations, and it shows. The cocktails were well-made, thoughtfully crafted, and reasonably priced. There was a bit of a wait for a few items, but they brought out food along the way, so we were never left sitting with nothing. The crostini were delicious, and the Caesar salad was excellent -- solid dressing where you can actually taste the anchovy (as it should be). I had the cod with lemon, which was outstanding: fresh, perfectly prepared, and balanced. I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly tangy, something many places tend to overdo. The ravioli bolognese was also delicious and very well made. Our server, Justin, took great care of us and made sure everything came out smoothly. After dinner, we stopped by the Kentucky Club, their speakeasy. Seating at the bar is first-come, first-served, but you can also reserve a table there when making your dinner reservation--a great way to end the night. read more

If you are looking for a little upscale brunch place that offers Italian flavors the. We recommend carletti Italian. This past weekend, we met up with friends for brunch here to try it out as we all like Italian. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing with hands-on service. From the hostess to our sever Luke, we had a wonderful experience where our drinks never went dry. Since it was bunch food was much more lite than a standard Italian dinner. Lots of sandwiches, salad soups and breakfast like food option. One member had the soup and ceaser salad. and by the looks of the results plate is was good not a drop left. 2 others had more of the breakfast flavor, the Italian Okie. Whereas I had the half Italian hoagie and Italian salad. The sandwich was divine with its multiple flavored meats and cheese with a light dressing. I devoured it. The salad was good with its greens but I should have asked for the dressing on the side as it was swimming in it. I like dressing but not at the expense of the salad itself. Their wine choices were extensive. I had the wintergreen julep and garrison finish drinks. The julep was by far the best between the two with its deep flavors. Unfortunately the garrison drink's blackberry and thyme were too muted for my liking...it didn't "snatch victory" from me. On a different note they keep this place pristine to include the bathrooms. This place is one of the better Italian restaurants and 10 times better than the chains. read more

First time here. Amazing experience from start to finish. Typically, I don't choose Italian for dining out as we can make most dishes at home better than restaurant quality. Not this time. Starters were lamb fries (thinly sliced and breaded) were the best I have had. Beat Cattleman's hands-down. Arancini was amazing. Arborio rice was seasoned well and moist with a crisp exterior. Paired well with the red sauce. Panzanella salad was a special and perfectly seasoned. Cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes balanced well. Mains included the ravioli bolognese, ragu pasta special, and eggplant parmigiana. Everything was cooked and balanced perfectly. The bolognese was so rich and paired perfectly with the beef ravioli. I have to admit. I abhor eggplant. Tasted the dish and it was a winner. Eggplant was grilled first then cooked with sauce and cheese. If you like eggplant, you will love this. Not your typical eggplant experience. Desert. Tiramisu, Derby Cake, and Lemon Bar. The lemon bar was my hands down favorite but the Derby Cake was an amazing surprise. Made me think of molten lava cake but better. Cake was moist and rich and held up well. 10/10 Will be back. read more

Came with a group of friends on Saturday evening to check out this place. I haven't had a chance to check it out before now since it opened as Carletti's. While the building still has the same cool private side rooms as it did waayyy back in its BBQ heyday, they have transformed it into a cool speakeasy atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and led to our little alcove to dine. The sunlight coming in the window made it difficult for the tablemates facing those windows to see those of us seated facing away from the window. This was easily and quickly remedied by our undoing the curtain ropes to block out the windows. (Apologies to the staff for needing to retie them after we left) Justin did wonderful at answering all the questions we peppered him with, and did a great job of describing how the items were made. We all ordered something different which helped us to see the variety of options. Even our gluten free guest was cared for with a gluten free option! First to come out was the bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was light and tasty. Eight guests with 4 dipping bowls, would have preferred my own dipping bowl, but i just went aheadand used my bread plate. I personally would have liked to see a little roasted garlic to add to the oil and vinegar, but that is a personal preference. I had the eggplant parmesan, which I was anxious to try since this was baked vs fried. I love eggplant, and I am not really a fan of greasy fried foods. Not only was it not greasy and not fried, but the serving was much bigger than I thought it was going to be, to my joyful surprise! If I had had some room, there would have been some serious dancing for joy going on, so I just did a little shimmy shimmy in my chair instead. The eggplant was tasty, still slightly firm, and not spongy. The chicken picatta and lasagna at the table got a thumbs up, but the pizza only got a warm reception. She said it was okay, but nothing that fantastic. Dessert time a few different items ordered. All good. Am really a fan of the "spoonful of sugar" option. More places need to do this, IMO. A spoonful of one of the desserts? Makes so much sense! So many times I want to try a dessert but am too full to order any. Having just a spoonful is a smart idea! We were not offered, and did not get the complimentary mints which I would have like to try. Only realized we didn't get them until after we left. They were out of a few things when we sat down for dinner at 6, so not sure if they were out of mints as well. Overall, I was happy with our time and will be back to try something else! read more

What a find! We were a party of 9 ageless beauties that showed up at the restaurant. We were treated like royalty! The service was fabulous! Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and more delicious than the previous one! The decor is so inviting and the history of the restaurant is very interesting. Lisa our waitress was the best! Gorgeous interior of the restaurant. I stopped in for brunch at 11:30 on a Saturday. The restaurant had a few tables, but wasn't busy. I sat at the bar and ordered the Okie Plate. I asked for scrambled eggs and they said they can only do one style of eggs. I feel like this is kind of a drawback, but was OK with the fold over eggs offered. It is kind of like an oily omelette with nothing in it. The biscuit also does not come with anything. They charged me a dollar for a side of jam. The jam is not made in-house and is rotational. Being that I was the only one seated at the bar, I heard a lot of the conversation between staff members. It is clear now why they offer so few options for brunch and don't allow changes on the egg style - they are overwhelmed most weekends. I see this as a drawback because other local brunch restaurants don't struggle in this area. The food is a 10 out of 10. And for those interested, they serve that good-good bacon. The perfectly salted, perfectly marbled, thick bacon with the right amount of chew and crunch. I would definitely be back to have this breakfast again. I would also love to try dinner sometime. I would say give this place a try, the ambience is attractive and the food is great quality for the price even if they are working out some kinks. read more

Amazing find! Fantastic service and family atmosphere and the food and drinks were incredible. GF white pizza was a wonderful with just the right amount of flavor and perfectly cooked. For our meal we all enjoyed the large protions of ceaser salad, lasagna and heavenly dessert. Wonderful value for our family of 5 to go with the for the whole table option and we came home with leftovers. We visited on 12/30 for the first time after being excited by the hype and marketing, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. Service was extremely slow and poorly paced--our drinks arrived about 40 minutes after being seated, after we'd already finished appetizers, and one drink was incorrect, causing even more delay. I was charged $22 for a martini that appeared to be a very small pour, which was frustrating. Entrees came about 30 minutes later. My carbonara was lukewarm and overwhelmingly salty to the point of being inedible, though others at the table enjoyed their dishes. We also ordered a bottle of wine hoping it would be quicker than cocktails, but it didn't arrive until we were finished eating. On top of the delays, the service felt inattentive and unwelcoming--one server even snapped at us when we tried to correct a drink. For a bill close to $300, this was nowhere near a luxury experience, despite luxury pricing. I emailed the restaurant about this experience on 1/5 and never received a response, which only added to the disappointment. I truly want to see new local restaurants succeed, but this visit fell far short. read more

Came here for a work lunch. Usually don't go Italian due to avoiding gluten but heard this place had gluten free options. Great service. Nice wood prominent interior. Quiet interior, easy to have conversation. I had the Alfredo Bianco with mushrooms, peas and shrimp. Nice portion, excellent pasta. On January 31, 2026, my husband and I went to Carletti's to celebrate Valentine's early. My favorite part about the entire evening is we had reservations for a specific time. When we arrived, the front waiting parlor was _FILLED_ with waiting people. I was prepared to hear, "We know you have a reservations, your wait is going to be 15-20 minutes." like most restaurants. HOWEVER, they sat us immediately - had a table waiting for us and everything. I was so impressed, that alone will bring me back. That said, the food was divine. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot. The service was quick and professional, and the server we had - Jordan - knew about the dishes and what to recommend. The atmosphere was also very nice - it was hip but with an old school flare. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the end-of-dinner-mints; they were like eating minty Play D'oh in texture. The taste was fine. Just not a texture I enjoy. All in all, this was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and I recommend everyone give it a shot for a nice date night that feels opulent without breaking the bank. read more

Was disappointed with my first trip to Carletti's. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is very cute and cozy and I loved the individual sections for each table. We ate at around 1pm on a Saturday so we could only order off the brunch menu. I started with the Pope's Blessing, their espresso martini. As soon as the waitress brought it out I could smell the alcohol and I was not a fan of the coffee liquor they used. Ordered the meatball sub and chicken Parmesan sub. Mine came with rosemary fries which were decent. The chicken in the sandwich was borderline cold. The meatball sub was much better. But the chips were literally just lays potato chips. Others ordered the Alfredo pasta, which was very good. Had the tiramisu for dessert. Big mistake. They use the same coffee liquor to soak the lady fingers, so could not finish the tiramisu. But someone else ordered the lemon bar and that was great. Service was okay. She was very nice, but took forever to get any refills and the place was not that busy at this time. So we dined here first time for a birthday meal. I was super excited to come and have to say I don't know that I have a desire to come back quickly. I arrived with my husband and our daughter after the bulk of our party of 8 had gotten there. They were at the bar waiting for our table. So when we entered and asked about where it was the host said oh someone should be seating them now, I will seat you. We sat in a room for over 10 minutes waiting for our friends, we finally went over and said are yall coming over or should we order appetizers while we wait for you. Turns out no one ever went to seat them or say the table was ready or that we were at the table or anything. The evening started with the bread service, the waitress dropped the oil from one on the floor and on my husband and our other friend. We were just given a towel and told to walk carefully. Not ideal especially since it went on their clothes. The worst part was the food, mine and two others had cold dinners. When your spending over $100 on two people before tip you expect to be served a hot dinner. However after waiting so long for everything, we all just ate it cause no one wanted to wait more to get the server to come back and have it remade. Then we finished the meal and got none of these amazing mints that we were told about. We also had the lights turned on right at 9pm, we had gotten there at 7pm and with how slow everything was, we had just gotten our desert and then the lights turned on and we felt like we had to immediately leave and not enjoy our desserts or the birthday girl even enjoy her birthday dessert and nightcap. It's a beautiful restaurant, the food probably is even better hot but it really just missed the mark. Service definitely needs to be improved. But it seems management doesn't care too much either. I reached out about the experience and got zero response other than when were you here so I can look into it. Zero apology, zero follow up, zero care about the fact they had guest leave with oil ruined clothing. There's plenty of other scratch pasta kitchens around now. Don't see us coming back any time soon. read more
