Went here the other evening with a girlfriend. I have been next door to Picasso's Cafe numerous times but never to this part of the location. Some of the food items are the same but they also offered other options. I had the pickle tickle. It was delicious. As part of their weekday happy hour, all appetizers were half. The Other Room is a long bar with tables in the back & a back patio. It's dark & moody inside with polaroid photos of their favorite patrons lining the walls. They have an extensive drink menu & specialty brunch or non-alcoholic drinks. Single mimosas are $5. I ordered the Hot Stack Waffles from the brunch menu. It has two waffles with pulled pork, two eggs on top & a maple flavored syrup. The homestyle potatoes are perfection! Crispy, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I asked for some greens on the side & they were happy to bring me a plate. My friends & I had a fun time laughing over breakfast & listening to great music. Every time this place is fun, night or day. Great indoor seating and huge bar, along with full patio seating where you're almost always guaranteed to make a new friend! The servers are vigil and efficient. There was even a drag show happening today when we got there! Food is also available and a great spot to hop over following a good meal at Picasso Cafe. I've been coming here for years. The current staff is by far the best they have ever had. Trevin, Megan, and Avery are a reason to come by themselves, not to mention half price apps and a great beer and shot deal. This place was a complete surprise. We wanted some snack options and a place to hangout. We tried Picasso's and there was a 45 minute wait. We ventured over to The Other Room and to my surprise there was no more smokey smell and no sembalence of cigarettes either--it's clean air! How wonderful! The location itself is nice, once we walked in it has a very welcoming and fun vibe like you'd definitely like to enjoy some drinks with friends. Well I definitely don't recommend getting their drinks. My friend got their Paloma cocktail and I got the Raspberry Sangria. Both absolutely awful. Awful. We took two sips and left the entire thing. I even told my waitress I did not like it at all (kindly btw) and she said it had "Champagne and Vodka" (her actual words - I wrote it down as soon as she said it) and I was beyond confused because that's not how the drink reads in the menu. I even asked her to remove the drink from the table and she just left it there. The food was okay - not the worse, and not the best. The food here is always good. Normally the service is great too. Today we went on St. Patty's Day but it was still early so it wasn't too busy. I got the Oklahoma breakfast I think and a side of waffles. That waffle was so dang good and sweet without the syrup. The eggs were too wet for my looking. The bacon cooked almost too crispy but okay. The sausage links were good. The biscuits and gravy were great. The breakfast potatoes are so crispy and delicious. My best friend was is here from LA and loves the mushroom fries. Unfortunately since it was brunch they didn't offer them. We wanted a fancy coffee. My bestie wanted an espresso and the machine was out... of course.... ‍ not looking for freebies or anything but offer a suggestion or since it's now the 2nd item we couldn't get offer a complimentary regular coffee or something.
