The shop has the display cases right when you walk in the door and there is a little cafe area off to the right which seemed cute. We were greeted when we walked in and the girl who helped us gave us plenty of time while we decided what to order. I asked what her favorite thing was that they had and she told me the danishes or the cheesecakes. I ended up ordering several things to try: a glazed donut, glazed raspberry filled donut, powdered raspberry filled donut, cheese danish, chocolate chip cookie, and cinnamon roll. The donuts and cinnamon roll were given to family who already knew how good the donuts were and we tried the chocolate chip cookie and cheese danish. The chocolate chip cookie was huge, chewy, and had a great flavor. I think my favorite thing I tried was the cheese danish. The dough was buttery and the filling wasn't too sweet. It was a great suggestion from the girl working there. Also, all of this was under $18 which is crazy. Will definitely be coming back.

Surprised with a visit to the commissary and I was not disappointed!…read more The service was so attentive from the second we walked in to the minute we walked out. I enjoyed seeing all the dog pictures covering the walls. The pastries here all looked amazing especially the sourdough chocolate chip cookies! I tried the sourdough pizzas they make on the wknds and enjoyed every last bite. The crust is just so perfect, it makes a nice crisp noise as you bite into it but still has that nice chewiness to it that makes a sourdough perfect! the buffalo mozzarella mixed with the garlic sauce was so great however I wouldn't mind a drizzle of buffalo sauce over the pizza for an extra kick. I also tried a sip of their cortado coffee which is true what they say puerto rican coffee is the best coffee!!! Loved it!

Horses. Dogs. VETERANS," drew us in. This establishment is so much more than a coffee shop. We loved everything about them, the passionate people who volunteer their time to the mission, the incredible animals that they rescue, rehab, train and pair with veterans, their baked goods, and their coffee. EVERYTHING! They sell a variety of baked goods including muffins, pastries, cookies, sourdough cinnamon rolls, sourdough bread, and coffee from a small farm in Puerto Rico. Everything we tried was delicious and although we were on a time crunch and couldn't stay, there is plenty of room to sit and relax while enjoying your goodies inside. All proceeds go to help veterans integrate back into "normal" life after military service. This is just an ounce of what they are about, so definitely stop by, learn more, and support their life changing programs by grabbing a bite and a coffee!

First of all, I don't know what's wrong with me! I don't know why I've spent the last few years in…read morethe dark about this place. I went in one day after lunch about a year ago and was completely overwhelmed because everything looked so good and I didn't order a thing. Stopped by yesterday and now I'm hooked! If you read my other reviews, you'll see where I tried another bakery's cinnamon buns twice and just was not a fan. Biggest critic was the lack of cinnamon in the cinnamon bun - this one is the opposite. There is cinnamon in every single bite - they even do the cinnamon-sugar on the bottom of the pan to ensure the crusty sweet goodness on their buns! This is definitely in my top list of cinnamon buns. The dough is so good and soft, the icing is to die for, and you know you'll get cinnamon in every bite just by looking at it! This is where I'll be going from now on when I don't want to make a batch at home! I also got the cookie butter cheesecake - how have I lived my life this long without trying this? Cheesecake, caramel and cookie butter in every bite! The cheesecake is super fluffy and I can't wait to try more of their flavors. I got my husband an ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie and we were both delighted with the flavor - it's the perfect balance of browned butter and bittersweet chocolate! He can't wait to give their oatmeal raisin cookies a try. For five in the evening, this place was hopping by the time I left. There was initially one person ahead of me and one behind the counter and as folks came in, two more came out the back to help! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The shop itself is cute! I love walking in to see display case after display case of baked goods - all of them looking amazing! They also sell ice cream and coffee here! Definitely a bakery I will be frequenting often!

I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back.
