I really love those foods bakery. They have items you could not normally get anywhere else. Their pastries are always fresh and their bread is soft and crunchy on the outside just how I like it. I would recommend this grocery store if you are looking for specialty items they have a great international section as well as gluten-free if you have not been here definitely check out the deli and bakery, which are across from one another you will not regret it. Went to lowes foods to purchase rotissare chicken I clipped a digital coupon for $3 off when I gave my phone # for my loyalty card the $3 did not come off the young man proceeded to tell me that I needed the coupon to get the discount. The whole purpose of DIGITAL COUPONS is so that you dont have to carry around a bunch of coupons you clipp them online and they go to your loyalty card account. It would be helpful if you train your employees on services you offer and how they work so customers are not inconvenienced. read more

I find myself once again wondering why it is so difficult to get simple things like milk or bread at a single grocery instead of having to travel to several. Ever since COVID it's been a journey and a major chore to get shopping done each week. The one place however that I can usually count on to have what I need/want, is Lowe's Foods. They aren't a perfect choice but these days they are usually my go-to. They usually have the Horizon milk I like as well as the Ocean spray diet cranberry juice. These items seem to be difficult to keep in stock at other stores. The only thing I wish for is a better fruit and veg department and then I would never have to go anywhere else! read more

This one star goes to the check out girl named Ashley. I shopped at this Lowes Foods all the time. Whether it be door dash , Indra cart, or in person. Usually I get them delivered because my husband and I own multiple businesses so I don't have much time to shop. But when I do go shopping myself, I use it as a "breather". Getting out of the house and away from our very busy businesses. When I go to shop. I SHOP. But, I have OCD. Major OCD. So I like to do things a certain way and order that I respond well to without anxiety. So I always use the self checkout. There is no signs anywhere that says "--------- items or less" anywhere. Today was a busy day or Lowe's and I lost track of time. I had been shopping for a couple of hours and had to hurry and get home for a meeting that I totally forgot about. The lines were busy and self checkout was open. I pushed my cart there (as I always do), and I hear "uhhh maam, you can't go there. You need to come in this line" and she yelled it in front of all the long lines and everybody was looking at me like I had done something wrong. In all actuality, I had my Guinea pig, a 100oz drink, and a big huge purse with all of my work stuff in it in the cart, so I actually didn't have as much as she thought. But when she yelled and completely embarrassed me, she had a horrible attitude and rolled her eyes and made it seem to everybody like I was there to steal. First off, when someone has about $1,000 worth of groceries and other household items, THEY DONT NEED TO STEAL. It was outrageous the way she came at me in front of everybody. I've never had this issue before anywhere I go. When I scan my items, I take them out of my cart, bag it and put it in a whole new cart. But, I like to do it my way. In my order. And I didn't see any signs saying you had to have a certain amount of items or less to go to self checkout. I go to self checkout mostly so I am not holding up anyone or being a burden to the checkout clerk bc of my horrible OCD. But, I wasted so much time in there, bc I ended up leaving without buying anything at all. They don't deserve my business whatsoever and I'll be going to Publix from now on. They don't treat their customers like criminals or embarrass them. They know if someone comes in about to spend $1,000 , they aren't there to steal anything. I hope Lowes does better with training and hiring people with more respect. If someone would've tapped me on the shoulder and spoke to me and ONLY ME about what they wanted me to do, that would've been 100% okay with me. But the way she handled the situation was terrible and extremely embarrassing. Maybe she thought I was "trash" bc I wore my comfy clothes today and had my hair up, and I wasn't in my designer clothing with my hair and make up done. She 100% stereotyped me. I know this bc I am normally dressed in my designer work clothes and when I go there and I've had more in my cart, many times, and was able to use self checkout without any problems. Do better Lowes. These young kids don't know what respect is, I'd stay away from hiring too many. They will make you lose customers like me, who spend literally, thousands of dollars each month. If you do hire these young kids with no respect, at least put respect in your training course. Good luck. Sorry but, Ashley made y'all lose a great customer who spent a ton of money with you guys. And when I was leaving I spoke to the guy at the door who seemed like a manager, he was nice at first but then when I told him why I was leaving, he kept looking at my purse with all of my work stuff and wallet and many many keys and paperwork, trying to see if I was stealing hisself. He was smiling at me and it felt absolutely sarcastic. I have never stolen anything a day in my life. I am not trash who has to steal. I have my own money that my husband and I work hard for, and a lot of times I use it to help others and strayed animals. I am a good person and y'all made me feel like I was less then. I am extremely appalled and feel completely disrespected. And even before I went in the store, I locked my car and couldn't get it open and my phone was in the car along with my cards. I went in and the guy from customer service came to help me and all he did was stick his arm in the window and pull the handle and I tipped him $15.I was so tired I didn't even think to do that bc this isn't my car.This is a car from our dealership I've never driven before. But people who steal, don't tip someone for 2 min of their time, or do they even tip at all even when they're supposed to. Ashley realllllly made me very VERY upset. You don't do that to people. She stuck her nose up at me when she yelled and then when I was leaving. She turned around like she was supposed to be intimidating me and watched me talk to the door man and watched me leave.I would say something really ugly, but, I am not that kind of person. I am a frequent shopper of Lowe's and I am NEVER disappointed, if I am it is quickly taken care of!!! The Customer Service doesn't compare to ANY stores around! I want to especially highlight my experience this evening with JD. Honestly, it is so easy to be nice. My experience with JD was beyond exceptional! How many months into Covid are we? This store STILL remains understocked. I haven't seen hydrogen peroxide or alcohol here in over 5 months. No name brand TP - just cheap no name crap! Look at these photos of their paper towel, tissue & TP aisle - absolutely disgraceful! These photos aren't a 1 time happening - these photos show how pitiful this store has been CONSISTENTLY for over 5 months, its the norm. This is probably my best place to shop for all my groceries. The atmosphere and people are nice and they treat me like a loyal customer. I highly recommend Lowe's foods for all your shopping needs. I would like to also add that John the Butcher is very fast, friendly, and courteous. He goes out of his way to make sure you have a pleasant shopping experience at the fresh meat department. I have been using Lowe's foods to go at the Burlington location for a couple of years now. I really love it!! This service has saved me hours upon hours of time; as well as, money because I plan meals better and don't make in-store impulse buys. They always get my orders correct, they are friendly fast and efficient. I am very grateful that I no longer have to spend time in the grocery store. Also, recently, my mom tried the service. They saw that she was unable to carry heavy loads, so they bagged the groceries so they would not be too heavy for her. Lowe's foods to go is one of the best services I have used and would recommend it to everyone who likes to save time and money. read more

Friendly folks here! Marcella in Meat/Seafood is especially helpful and friendly. The store is clean and not too congested, so you can maneuver the carts with ease. Speaking of carts, hand sanitizer is always available and no wobbly wheels. The hot food actually looks desirable, maybe next visit. read more

I used to think this chain was very so so but my opinion has changed. They have great outside and indoor displays which are creatively thought out and implemented. They have an absolutely fabulous beer selection, Which includes a variety of draft beers which are available to sample, enjoy in the store, and take home in Growlers. I called to ask questions about beer varieties. I was asked to hold. I held 5 minutes. I called back and explained that I had just been put on hold because I wanted to ask a question about beer varieties. A young lady apologized and put me on hold again. I waited 12 minutes on hold the second time just to see if anyone there was paying attention. No one was apparently. I hung up and called again. This time a manager answered and of course apologizedthat he was busy with construction. So, I never got anyone to care enough to answer a simple question. They have list my business and my suggestion to friends will be to avoid them because they clearly don't care enough to answer phone questions. Sad. read more

Super super nice store - 90% of Fresh Market with better selection and lower prices!!

I have been using Lowe's-to-go recently and really like it. It saves so much time and is very convenient. I have one suggestion, however. A few times the produce the person filling the order may not be chosen as carefully as I would choose. Since there are only 2 of us, I try to pick items with the longest shelf life so I won't end up throwing things away. Sometimes I don't think they do that. A few times, they've been out of something that is online. They do give you an option to substitute for a similar item, plus a place to write them a note. All- in-all, I've been very pleased and would highly recommend using this service. read more

I've been coming to this store since it opened. Seems as time goes by, the employees are in such a hurry that they can't help you. Example- when they had the stamps for pots earlier this year -the young cashier told me to go online to collect my stamps as he didn't have time to count them for me. Wow! Seems like they are always running around collecting groceries for online callers and step right in front of you while you are in the store. Let's just say how rude that I have to wait to get my item as they are in a rush to get groceries for the online orders. I certainly have considered switching. What a shame! read more

I went in here on a busy Sunday afternoon just to get three things. One was lunch meat because we only eat Boars Head. I got the sale this week which was ham $8.99per pound. I got to the register and the young lady rang me up as I paid I began thinking that it was more than I had thought. I pulled the ham out of the bag and it was marked $11 per pound. I said to her that the ham was supposed to be $8.99/lb. instead of having someone come correct it she made me do the leg work. Of course I wasn't pleased but I went back to the deli, explained what was happening. They gave me a new price sticker and I went back to the register. When I got there the same girl said I. Ow needed to go to customer service. The manager, Rebecca, overheard this and asked what was happening. I told her and she waved me over to the counter. She apologized and said she would give me a full refund AND let me keep the ham. Now that is great customer service!! I was shocked. Most businesses rarely apologize for mistakes and most definitely don't go above and beyond like she did. Kudos to Rebecca for making this situation turn into a positive one. We will return to shop at this location again! read more

Only carries one type of NA beer and it's not a good brand. Other stores carry 3 or 4 brands that are at least tastier than the brand that the Burlington location carries. read more
