Due to our super busy schedule we are delivery people. All the way over in Chester. The wife and I grew up in NYC. I have tried every shop in the area for 6 years then we found this gem! I have to say this is the best Pizza around by far. Reminds me of walking the old neighborhood back in the 80's when fast food pizza ( the major chains ) didn't exist! I went to Goshen Pizza Tomato Pie and had a very disappointing experience regarding food hygiene. I ordered 4 b beef Party with cheese and saw the person preparing them take cash from another customer and then, without washing his hands, touch the cheese inside the oven to check if the party were ready. I politely told him that wasn't right and asked for new parties but he refused and started arguing with me. In the end, he gave me a refund. I asked for the manager and he refused even give me his name. he was the owner. It's unacceptable for someone to handle food right after touching money without washing their hands, and even worse to respond defensively instead of fixing the issue. I hope they improve their hygiene practices and customer service, because with that kind of behavior, I wouldn't return or recommend this place. read more

Found Goshen pizza, 5 minutes off the highway heading back to upstate NY. Reviews looked good, so we stopped. It was obviously a busy lunch stop. They had a nice selection of pies to choose from, but we got the lunch special, 2 slices and a large fountain drink for $7. Not too bad. I had a chicken Marsala dinner with spaghetti delivered. It arrived in a foil container with a clear lid. When the food first arrived I viewed through the lid about 1/4 inch of orange oil on top of the entire dish and the sauce was more white than brown. My initial thoughts were this is not chicken Marsala and it does not look appetizing. I was hungry and against my better judgement I ate a few bites. The flavor of the chicken and sauce were bland, oily, and had no Marsala taste. The amount of oil was just overpowering and confounding. The spaghetti, few mushrooms, and chicken were cooked well but could not be saved because of the aforementioned issues. I ended up throwing out the entire dinner. It's a shame because I was a first time customer. I will not be returning here. read more

We recently moved to Goshen ... they have the largest selection of pizza at lunch time and I love the NY style pizza ... if they have the chicken parm pizza available try it. Stopped here with my family after a visit to LegoLand and so glad we did. It had delicious, fresh food including a variety of pizza slices for my little one to choose from. Do not waste your time. I received a flyer in the mail and figured we'd try this place. Ordering alone was a challenge. The girl who took our order kept getting it wrong when repeating it to me but I figured I'd correct her one more chance and give it a shot. A half hour later, I get a call saying that my credit card info was deleted so she needed it again. I gave her the number and my delivery address (for the 3rd time) and we hung up. Another hour goes by and I called to see if the food was on its way. I was told that the driver was sent to the wrong address and it would be at least another 20 minutes. In terms of food and customer service this place is incredible, but working for the current owner was a nightmare for me. He was always too harsh on the girls who came in to train including myself. When I first started I would try to take my time on the phone orders to make sure I was getting the order right, and he would tell me to rush the calls. As a customer I would rather spend more time on the phone and get the right order, then have a quick call and get the wrong food. There was so much anxiety around making any small mistake, or asking a simple question because I would just get scolded by him. I eventually quit once I realized he had zero regard for his employees well beings. read more

This place does not know how to take orders! By phone or in person, gave them 3 tries and that's it. Customer service was horrible too. Ordered 50 wings and a pie, realized it was gonna be too much food only a few feet from walking away from the counter cancelled the pizza. This guy had the nerve to say the pizza was done and no refund! He said it was bad for his business and would not do it again. Now a days you seriously have to record stuff because if I could upload it , you would be pissed too. If that's not bad enough leaving quick and pissed my wife counted back the money on the way home in the car to realize he only gave me back $11 and the pie cost was $26. Not worth me going back to curse the unprofessional little man out. It's sad with everything going on that customer service wouldn't be more on point.
