Restaurant Location 650 West Northern Lights BLVD Anchorage Alaska 99503 907-276-2275 I went into a local Carl's Jr. restaurant tonight to eat dinner with a teenager than I mentor in the community through Big Brother's Big Sister's of Alaska. We went inside the restaurant and went to the counter and I asked for a paper menu and was told that they did not have any. I asked if someone else could help me as me and my guest are visually impaired and could not read the tv screen menus on the wall. An employee told us that they could not help us and that we needed to read the screens. I asked for a reasonable accommodation to help us order and was told by a different employee that they could not help us either. Then a Manager came out and told me that if I did not like the service I was getting, that I could leave the restaurant or sue them. I was shocked and asked him why he could not accommodate our request and he said again, sue us, or leave my restaurant. I told him that he was discriminating against us and violating the ADA federal law and he shouted at me this time and said sue me. I left at that point and took my teenage mentee with me as I did not want to cause a scene and was in disbelief that this had just had actually happened. I did leave the premises and decided to file a report as I do not want anyone else to have this type of situation occur to them. They consistently get the order wrong and over charge because they charge for the wrong items. It's embarrassing. This is the worst Carls Jr. in the state. read more

They overcharge you thinking you won't check your receipt. The order was wrong and cold. The replacement was wrong and cold, too. Poor staff poor management and terrible food. I used to like Carl's Jr. now I won't come here ever again! Save yourself time and trouble. Don't come here! read more

Love the food. Great place to swing by for a lunch break. Stopped in for indoor seating at 1:30 pm on 8/21/2018 and was greeted by a hostile cashier with red dyed in her hair. She stared my wife and son up and down despite being very nice to her. When bringing our food to us, my wife sincerely and kindly said thank you. The cashier rolled her eyes and walked away. I work in customer service, and find this behavior unacceptable. The rest of the staff did seem friendly enough, so for them I will add a star. read more

My and my friends went yesterday morning and we all got food poisoning. We threw everything up, my friends chocolate milk was spoiled and gross. We were in the drive-thru and when we pulled up there was a girl behind the counter trying to be sneaky eating an ice cream cone! The sodas were all syrup no water no carbonation it was terrible the food my mom and aunt could even finish and none of us felt good we are definitely never going to Carl's Jr again. read more

I know, I know, another big chain, BUT....remember how I described Dairy Queen and their portions. Man, this is THE JOINT. Massive freaking Burgers, massive meals, just the sort of things that can really hurt you, but are ooooohhh soooo good. AND they are Alaskan size portions. I witnessed a manager being rude and using profanity toward another customer. It was totally unacceptable and if I hadn't already paid for my food I would have walked out. Stopped in to try the new all natural burger. Two burgers, two fries, two teas - Ate in. The fries were cold; returned them and got new hot, but had to wait several minutes for them - but that's okay. Ordered natural cut, but received cross cut fries - but that's okay, both are good. The burger was slathered, above and beyond, to excess, with condiments - we burned up a lot of napkins trying to stay slop-free. AND it was COLD. Excellent brioche bun. Friendly service. So on my way home I stop in for breakfast for my kids & I. As soon as I pull up crystal the girl taking the order is talking to her co-workers. I give her my card to pay and she's so busy talking she's waving my card around as I'm trying to get it back. Irritated now at this point she hands me a bag and says have a good day and Slams the window. She had not even given me half of my order so I'm sitting there waiting for her to open the window again, once she's done talking to her co workers again she opens the window and I tell her where's the rest of my stuff she starts laughing slams the window and continues talking to her co workers at this point I'm getting pretty pissed off. Mind you I ordered 4 orders of French toast for my kids she puts one syrup in the bag so I tell her she needs to put one for every order she than laughs (still talking to her co workers) and throws two in the bag. I'm like how hard is it to get your job right? Maybe you should stop yapping your big ass mouth and pay attention to what you're doing. The reason you even have this job is because paying customers keep your ass in business and if you can't get a single order right than you are in the wrong profession! She looks at me laughs closes the window and keeps talking to her co workers. In shock of her completely disrespectful, disgusting customer service I call the manager tell her what happen and She's just like ok, ok have a good day! Really? Now wonder your employees suck. They all seem to not give a shit about how poorly they treat their customers. Subpar customer service, but the food honestly sucks at this particular joint. The friend zucchini was nearly burnt and so were the onion rings, and they're stingy with putting on toppings such as lettuce. My husband's burger had one soggy piece of lettuce. read more

I stopped by this morning for breakfast. After placing my order, I was informed that "Um... yeah... we don't have any eggs". Since 90% of all breakfast items on the menu have eggs it didn't leave much of an option. I had to drive two blocks over to the competition. read more

I can't get enough of their guacamole bacon six dollar burgers. I know it's a fast food chain but I'll take this burger over any other options hands down. My only complaint would be that they reference it as a "six" dollar burger and it costs about $6.19. So just change the title to "seven" dollar burger and we will be all good. read more

We LOVE LOVE Carl's Jr restaurant, even from lower 48 we always have to find a nearest Carls Jr. I've always had NO problems with them till now. One of the reasons I love Carl's Jr, is because they serve lunch menus in the morning. 10/27/2017 we ordered a Santa Fe chicken sandwich and BBQ chicken sandwich, 2 Hash browns. We got to work and we only had 1 Santa Fe chicken and 2 hash browns. It took me 4 phone calls to finally get through to some one, and when I did she I hardly understood her for she spoke very little English, all I wanted was if I could come after work to either get a refund or get a BBQ chicken and she said something like, we were the only ones who ordered lunch and they made it and bagged it. I don't get it, I know they made it and bagged it but I DIDN'T GET MY SANDWICH. I believe she was trying to make this my fault. She also told me to call later and talk with her manager, and all I heard about their managers and owners that they are not that friendly either so I'm going in and talk with them after work today. read more

11:15am on a Sunday, just got a kid's burger at drive through. Got home and my 5yo was 1/3 done when my wife noticed green mold spots all over the bun. Nasty. I just sprained my ankle walking in there parking lot. I have no minutes on my phone and ask to use the store phone. They were immediately rude unconcerned and acted like they did not know how to work their store phone, because I could not make an outgoing call. And so I ask for help and the cashier looked at my phone which has no minutes and asked me as I'm wincing in pain just got a phone work pointing at mine!!! I asked her to please get your phone to make it out going call because I am injured and need to be picked up, she turned her manager spoke foreign words to her to manager picks up the phone and then says to me I don't know how to use this! I set at the table trying to work some Wi-Fi calling app on my phone alone the only one in the store for roughly 30 minutes and they all just sat by the counter and chatted I'm there countrys language. I go to the Carls Jr on Abbott and have always recieved good service. There is one employee who is always professional and has NEVER messed up my order. Think his name tag says Nathan. I always go through the drive through on Sat and Sun mornings and he waits on me. He just seems like a good employee. Just want to thank him for his hard work and professionalism .
