All hail Pita Pit, my new favorite mid town grab-n-go spot. Fast, friendly, clean, under 10 bucks, HEALTHY and Delicious. This place hits all the marks except for being a chain. If it was locally owned and not a chain, they would have my undying devotion forever. I can't believe they have options like falafel, hummus, feta and roasted red peppers... it's just too good for words. I am really surprised that a store that is facing backwards (BIZARRE zoning?!?) is the busiest Pita Pit in the world. In Alaska. Did I mention that the store is backwards? So that's just a testament to a great product, fair pricing and excellent management. Ask for a loyalty card, cause you're gonna get hooked. It's inevitable. And they serve breakfast all day! And I'll never post a pic of my Pita because I'm always too excited to dive in to remember to get a photo.

Due to the snow there was a bit of mud by the entrance but nothing major. The food came out pretty quick and we went upstairs. This location is INVADED by homeless... be aware that there will be homeless everywhere inside. I decided to eat and leave, but should've just eaten in the car. While we ate, a group of about 4 homeless came upstairs and decided to start doing drugs right there and then. Where's the manager you may wonder. The manager was doing an interview 1 table away from the group of homeless doing drugs. I am not from around here and didn't know that is normal here since nobody seemed to be surprised. My bf freaked out and told me to hurry up. As we walked down the stairs, there was a puddle of pee and drops of blood... I am pretty sure that was from the group of homeless because it was t there when we went up. Word of advice, do not dine in!

I called and ask to speak with a manager about the the milk that burned me, the wait and the cold food. A boy said he was a manager, and was very disrespectful. His bad attitudeexcalted really quick. Are we not allowed to talk to a manger about our concerns? I asked for the manager again, he said to call back. I called a few more times, he didn't say anything and hung up. His behavior was very disrespectful. I hope the manager see this. He doesn't deserve to be qorking in customer service, especially if hes a manager and is very disrespectful.

Returned to Arctic Roadrunner and still impressed. The all American burgers are large and juicy. Full of taste. With an old fashioned taste of the 1960's. 4.5. My wife had an arctic cheese and a fish sandwich. She said that she liked them. The large French fries had good taste but I would have liked a larger-large order. 4.0 Free refills were available on all soft drinks. There were twelve different soft drinks to choose including Coke and Dr. Pepper. A short line to order and the order was filled quickly. Men's room was recently cleaned. Wife also appreciated a clean ladies room. We dined in a booth with a window that overlooked a swiftly flowing stream that was about fifty feet away down about a twenty foot hill. The cashier always smiled and seemed very happy to see us. There were no TV's and no music was playing. I was able to talk with my wife and have no distractions. That is good. Glad that I dined there, with my wife, for lunch today.

I would give this place more than five stars if possible!…read more I'm an absolute fiend for middle eastern and Mediterranean food. I grew up on gyros and when I travel, I often gravitate toward that style of cuisine. So when I say this is THE BEST chicken souvlaki I've ever had, I don't say it lightly. The chicken is extraordinarily tender and so well seasoned. The tzatziki is delicious. The sumac onion and lemon wedge are just the cherry on top. My personal preference would've been for a salad instead of fries for the platter ($26), but I also didn't ask for it, so that's on me. Dad had the spicy pork yerro ($19), and said it was "awesome." A combination of flavors you don't get often, and tasty to boot. We polished off the meal with the largest piece of baklava I've ever seen ($15). It sits in an orange blossom honey and is just as tasty as it looks. Dessert is definitely on the pricy side - we could've gotten outta there pretty reasonably without it. I'll be back to try more of the menu. Their dips look incredible and the halloumi yerro is on my must-have list. Service was decent but depended on the dining room and takeout situation since there's only one server. I loved the response I got when I called about their hours earlier. (The menu photos show a 7:30pm close while Yelp indicates 9:30.) The answer? 9-10 "depending on the meats." Hope these guys stick around because the food is incredible. Highly recommend!
