These ladies were tired, having worked for hours, and yet their kindness and eagerness to make us at home was outstanding. The taco salad was delicious--fresh, tasty and so generous. Stopped in tonight at about 8:45pm (on a Thursday) for two sandwiches to take with us on the road. The guy at the counter was very friendly and fast! The food was delicious! I got the famous taquitos, which were crispy and flavorful. The sauces were yummy, and the chips and rice were great. I got a mix of potato and chicken, and next time I would definitely order all potato since those were my favorite. Here is my honest review. Toquitos were amazing, 10/10 best item on the menu. Amazing flavor, sauce was flavorful. I enjoyed these the most and ate every bite. Tacos I was not a fan, they had a great crunch but tasted like they may fried everything in the same oil? The hot Cheetos corn cup looked delicious but was sadly disappointingly blan. Frys were crispy but tasted a bit off. The rice was dry and blan and the beans were horrid. They were watery and tasted of nothing but onion. I have no problem with onions by the way but the beans were overly flavored with them, I tasted no beans at all. The churro donuts we got with cinnamon, drizzled caramel and powdered sugar. They looked good but were a bit dry. Lastly the most disappointing of it all as I am a huge horchata fan and it's hard to disappoint me with it. The horchata slushie. It was extremely off putting. Tasting like an old mop bucket smells. Maybe moldy machine? we sadly threw out everything except the toquitos which I must say again were amazing and the churro donuts which weren't bad just a bit dry. All in all I would say if you go here, stick to the toquitos and skip the rest.
