Very disappointed. I went to try the Beyond Burger. It was really good. The only bad thing was the bun was stale and hard. I asked for pickles and didn't get any and the fries were terrible. I don't know what is going on with this location or the one in Yucaipa, but the quality of the food is terrible. I just don't get it. Not sure if I will go back to either location. It's pretty sad when you pay almost $10.00 for a meal and it basically sucks. And, no it wasn't busy. read more

I went through the drive thru tonight at 8:30 PM and the kid working drive thru, seem to b under the weather. He acted like he didnt want to be there. As a customer I felt uncomfortable because when I would ask a question about a item the kid wasn't helpful, just out of it. Managers should be aware of poor customer service from this kid read more

Unfortunately, I have had a few bad services and been told at 10: 31, after waiting 5 minutes in line with no one ahead of me, that breakfast is no longer served and the biscuit were gone and the machine was off, kinda sucks, so I don't know if I will be back, after 20+ years! Every single time I come through the drive thru, I am forced to "park out front" and wait for my food. It doesn't matter what I order. I could order 1 biscuit and I am still required to park and wait for 15 mins in the front. Don't come here if you are in a hurry. They do not offer "fast" food. Plus if you are going to make me wait that long, the food better be delicious, which it's not. read more

Paid 5$ extra for both of my meals to have cross cut fries, got regular fries. They were also cold, one burger was burnt. This is a shame to all other Carl's Jr.'s. Never seen one with their service in shambles like this. Hope they improve. read more

Carl Jr's in Calimesa is the worst fast food place. I've gone three times and they never get my order right. One time I got home and didn't have meat in the bun!! I called and told them, but didn't go get the meat. I went the next day to get my money back!! I like fire grilled meat, but with bad service and all the mistakes it's not worth the stress. read more

I was really nice about asking for my burgers fresh... I can tell my burgers weren't fresh because they were cold and burnt around the edges. When the main manager is working I ask for fresh and when I receive the burgers they're steaming hot but not this time. It doesn't take much to please a customer or and go an extra mile to put fresh burgers through the belt. I know what I'm talking about because I worked at Carl's JR. before. read more

My wife and I went through the drive through separately and were both talked to very rudely by a young man on April 14 at 12:49. I wanted to add onion rings to our order at the window and he rolled his eyes like, "Are you kidding me?" It has been a long time since we have been treated and talked to so rudely. read more

It is what it is. They are friendly enough but when you tell them "easy ice" what they think you mean is fill the drink up with ice. SMH.

I'm pretty sure the only reason why this restaurant is still surviving is it's because it's a well known name. The food is horrible at the location. Management is so rude and all employees speak Spanish to one another and one of the ladies is tattooed all over and talks to the other coworkers like she's a gang member. Fries came out cold this trip. I haven't frequented this establishment for two years since the franchised out and derive became horrible. Decided to give them one more chance after two years and my order wasn't what I ordered. Not even close so I ate the fries which were cold. Came here 15 mins before breakfast was over wanted biscuits was told to wait 6 mins for a fresh batch which I said was fine then to be told by her coaches that they were done making biscuits for the day. Umm no you were too lazy to make a fresh batch. Then had to pull around to wait for breakfast burritos meat to be cooked when I could of waited for the dang biscuits to be cooked.. It's always something when I come here will never come back Now for an edit We get our loaded breakfast with no meat Horrible Carl's Jr. never again!!! I can not believe that every time i go here they screw up my order. I tell myself I will never go back, but i love carls and always give this place another chance due to convenience and I'm just blown away that it really is every time they screw up. This last time no one was there and they still screwed up, SMH. Plus they don't make the burgers like other locations, they make theirs like they're trying to save money. I don't know who was in the kitchen on Wednesday May 18 around 6:00-6:30pm whom every you are bravo!!! Probably hands down the best burger I have ever had at a Carl's Jr., hot, juicy, crispy, fantastic El Diablo 1/3 thick burger looked like the picture, and fresh crisis cut fries, damned good dinner, this would never be my first choice for dinner but there was known one in the drive through, I waited maybe a little longer then normal but it was worth it. read more

As a frequent CJ customer (as my credit card receipts will attest to) I had a extremely dissatisfying and frustrating experience at the Calimesa location. I placed my order for two breakfast burgers and asked if I could (at my children's request) substitute the hamburger bun for the sourdough bread typically used for the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich. I was told that there would be an additional charge. I observed that the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich was actually cheaper than the breakfast burgers that I was ordering. I was told that there would still be an additional charge. I asked to speak with the manager, Antoinette. I asked if she could accommodate my request and explained that the items I was ordering were actually cheaper than the bread I wanted to switch to; she told me that she could only do it if she charged me extra. I explained that I had always been accommodating with CJ when they needed to substitute. I provided Antoinette with two examples - one which even involved her: 1) on one occasion they did not have the biscuits ready for the Monster biscuit and asked if would I substitute another bread (which I did, and did not ask for a discount), 2) they ran out of onion strings and I was asked if I would substitute for regular onion rings (Antoinette was EVEN the person who made this request, which I did, again without discount). I explained to Antoinette that I had been accommodating with CJ - at this location, no less - and I was asking that she do the same. She insisted that she could not, and told me that she would provide me with the contact information to make a complaint, and walked away. She never returned with the information. I was astounded by a manager's inability to see the larger picture and failure to appreciate the importance of maintaining good relationships with its customers.
