My family and I never get out of the drive thru "fast", it's guaranteed that we are in the drive thru more than 10 mins or more every time weather there is some one else in front of us or no one is in the line. Today there was no one in the line and we were in the line for twenty one minutes. Not only did we wait in line for an extended amount of time t of time for a "fast food" establishment, when we got home and the substance was handed out, my son was missing his chicken stars in his kids meal. I understand the economy sucks but charging 25 cents for a single ranch sauce with a $30 order is a terrible business strategy. Worst experience ever. They have AI taking the orders in the drive-thru. AI Continued to get it wrong. So when I got to the front, I told him I needed no tomatoes on the hamburger, no ketchup he calls to the back and they say "oh well, we already made it"! Refused to refund it or make a new one. One of my favorite to go places to eat. Ideally located on my way westward.. This place is almost always kept so clean. Everything looks neat and tidy. And a great staff to boot. I love their Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Always served with that dripping bbq sauce coming out the sides. And topped off with a hit and crunchy onion ring. Food is good, never been disappointed with the quality, but expect to spend at minimum 15-20 minutes parked in front if you ever order jalapeño poppers. Staff is friendly tho. Do not come here! The drive thru is ridiculously slow! They didn't have what we ordered, and didn't communicate that to us. We had to wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes after being in the drive thru for 10 minutes only to be told they didn't have any more of the biscuit we ordered. It i could give it 0 stars i would. I live 1 exit away from here so i ordered food through the app for drive thru pickup last month in March. As i pulled up to the ordering screen..i told the lady i had a pickup order. She told me they got my order a little late & to please park & come inside. I told her I don't mind waiting in the drive thru or for her to come outside to me because i had my baby in the backseat plus it was really cold that night didn't want to have the baby out in the cold just to go in. She kind of got an attitude when i said that..there was 1 car in front of me & it took them forever to get their food. By the time i pull up to the window..i ask if she would like me to still park & wait. Once again with an attitude she just hands me my food without saying anything. I had a feeling she had an attitude because i told her i did not want to park & have to bring my baby inside. As i got my food & drove off..i decided to check my order. Much better than the Carl's Jr in Yucaipa. Derrick is very kind, friendly, happy and readily gives me the senior discount. Everybody is very friendly. Better people skills at Calimesa. I seemed to of had an issue every single time I visited the Yucaipa location. Yucaipa restaurant has a manager with a bad attitude... he would say they didn't have change, restrooms not open, out of this, or out of that. Every time it was a problem at Yucaipa. No people skills there. The gay manager at the counter got slow and came all the way across the restaurant and bitched because we brought something in from outside, when it was over 100 degrees... even though we were just about to order 40 dollars worth of food to take home, so I quickly said forget it. Today at 2:48 pm, my significant other and I went to the Carl's Jr. store on Calimesa Blvd in Calimesa. We hadn't been to this drive through in quite awhile. We drove in to the speaker and we're told to hold on for a minute. So we sat there for a few, waiting and eventually she came back on the speaker. I wasn't sure what I wanted and my guy couldn't see the menu so I said, " we're gonna need a minute, not sure what we want." No response. So I moved forward just a bit so he could see. I then said, " I want an order of onion rings and a couple of charbroiled chicken sandwiches". No response. So I waited. A few minutes later I finally hear, "Are you ready to order now?" Why, yes I am, I replied. I'll take an order of onion rings and a charbroiled Santa Fe chicken sandwich and one more and I have a coupon." She replied, "what kind of sandwich?" My guy still hadn't made up his mind so I told her "A charbroiled Club Sandwich and a medium Coke". I tried to say that the number on the coupon was... but I was cut off with "I'll need the number on the coupon." I gave it to her and she gave me the total adding that she'd need that and the coupon at the window. When I drove up to the window I gave her the money and the coupon. She closed the window, then opened it with the Coke in her hand, closing it quickly. While we waited, boyfriend says, "what do you suppose she's so pissed off about"? I shrugged, she asked if we wanted catsup, I told her no. She handed me the bag and I drove off. When we opened the bag and began to eat at home, the onion rings did not taste cooked through and the chicken was so dry that I needed a drink. I mean, I have never had any chicken sandwich that dry. I took another bite and that one was worse. Oh lord! I looked on the receipt to find Miss grumpy's name was Cindy A. She needs to smile and sound pleasant! I won't be back to that place again. Simple request nothing to difficult but when we opened the burger it had onions and was not cut in half but it did have the special sticker on it.
