2/17/24 at around 730pm Went through the drive through tonight and ordered 2 meals a famous star with cheese no ketchup meal and a double western bacon meal and neither of these meals were edible. Each burger had so much sauce,including the ketchup we specifically asked to NOT put on the famous star, the buns were sooo soggy they fell apart and they werent even burgers anymore not to mention they were so sloppily made like a toddler made them. That's unfortunate because Carl's is already expensive bc apparently its quality meat/food but this location the quality has declined and fast in the past year. It's like the workers don't care but will gladly take our money like all these other fast food places which isn't right. Without us customers coming in then you guys would have no paycheck. Makes me sad bc Carl's was once my favorite go to burger and maybe I will be back but just not to this location. It's a fast food place inside of Hemet. I don't need to leave a review for Carl's it's a popular chain all over the place. If you haven't had it they sell hamburgers and aren't as good as in n out or farmer boys but better than jack in the box and McDonald's. The fries are good. No issues here. Anyway nothing really jumped out at me on the menu except the double jalapeño cheeseburger. Sounded satisfying so I ordered it, when I got home I quickly unwrapped the burger To find so much shredded lettuce that it spilled out from the wrapper. After cleaning up all of the excess lettuce I found a lifeless plain bun with barely any condiments whatsoever. So I added some Mayo and mustard to help the burger out. I quickly took a bite in hopes of finding some spicy taste...nothing, just as plain and lifeless as you can get. I opened the burger up in search of jalapeños but none were found, there was 2 so called patties equivalent to a flattened meatball and without flavor. Again, I just wanted to leave a follow up review that asserts that the orders are NEVER taken correctly through the drive through. No matter how slow you talk, how many times you reiterate and no matter if its right on the receipt. I made the mistake again of not checking my bag and both sandwiches were wrong. As usual. Management really needs to change the way that responsibilities are delegated inside. Even if they always have a DT cashier and a DT order taker. This is a run-of-the-mill Carl's Jr. location. Nothing particularly special about it, sadly. Their drive-thru is pretty good, especially with speed of service and general reasonable-ness of the people working it. The only thing that I don't like about this location is that, for whatever reason, it seems to attract MANY more sketchy people than the other fast food places around. The only other one that seems to be close is the Taco Bell in the same shopping center. Don't know what that's about, but yeah, just something to think about. The incompetence of this place no no boundaries. I order a $6 box meal in a medium size. Been here a thousand times and it is always the same TRASH! Pulled up to the drive thru window and they say "would you like to try the new Tex Mex" I say "yes, u have a coupon for a free one if I buy a large drink." The guy tells me to wait up, hold on." I stop by here a few times a week to get food and take it to work for lunch. Last week I ordered a Jalapeno Turkey burger. A few hours into my shift I took it out of the fridge to heat it up and eat it. I was a double cheeseburger and I was a little ticked off but chalked it up to **** happens. Five days later, the same exact thing happened I now I was really ticked. I called and spoke with Oscar and told him what happened and he said he would take care of it. A few days later I went in before work and they took care of it. I know most people just write bad reviews when things go wrong but I believe when people turn a wrong into a right, that should also be recognized. I will never return or have my any of my family go back here. Just got done ordering drive thru. The lady didn't seem to understand very well but in the end my husband managed to get our order straight. After checking the bags I had jalapenos in my charbroiled chicken club and I get it all the time so I know it doesn't go in there. My order came with fries in a small bag so the fry box got pulled with the burger when I pulled it out and the fries tipped over and fell. The fries were for our one year old. I waited in the car with our daughter while my husband went back inside with the receipt and explained my chicken club situation and asked for new fries. They made a new burger but were rude. They also denied the fries claiming that they looked half gone(again they fell and we're untouched and were clearly at the bottom of the bag). If the person helping him would have actually checked the bag they would have seen ALL the fries in there. She didn't even return the receipt (itemized but we have the one with the total) to my husband which is procedure at ALL businesses to provide their customer unless otherwise stated by the customer. She just threw it away. I had to deal with my daughter in the car so I was not able to go inside after my husband explained his experience. My procedure is always ask to speak to the manager. This was very unprofessional and unpleasant if the employees are always this badly behaved. I give one star only because the food I recieved was decent but if I had gone inside and was treated this way I would have demanded a refund instead and that is AFTER putting the rude ones on blast to their manager. read more

Let me give you a scenario...both you and your wife get off work late and you decide Carl's Jr for dinner. You order a #1 regular and an additional Famous Star dry, no condiments (meaning no f$&#ing ketchup or mayonnaise). You think your order was done correctly so like majority of people, you throw away the receipt before you leave the Carl's Jr. and head home which is a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic. You arrive home after your long day, lay out the food ready to feast, and your wife says both burgers have ketchup and mayonnaise...you now have to drive all the way back to the Carl's Jr. (10-15 minutes away). You get to the Carl's Jr. and request a refund since they obviously don't value your patronage considering they wasted 20-30 minutes of your day. And what is it they ask you for? The f$&#ing RECEIPT that you threw away! So now they won't give you a refund because you don't have the receipt for the order you thought was going to be correct the first time...because it's obviously your fault for throwing away a receipt...for an order that you thought was simple enough to be done right...the FIRST TIME. So instead, you leave the food without a refund and drive another 10 minutes to the BK Lounge. And, they actually get your order correct. It's a wonder how this Carl's Jr. even has 2 stars. I would give them less than a star if I could. Management should train their employees to better read the order correctly that comes up on their monitor when making the food, and Corporate needs to come up with a better refund policy and/or update their Point of Sale system to be able to perform refund without a receipt. The fast food restaurant that is known for its "Famous Star" gets a one star. read more
