I used to come here all the time growing up and their french toast dips were my absolute favorite. I had not been to this location since before covid so we decided to give them a try tonight. We made a mobile order but when we arrived they said they hadn't received it so we had to wait. The french toast sticks are different than I remember: more moist, less powdered sugar and with a hint of lemon maybe. They aren't terrible but they didn't live up to the memory. They would be a fine snack for a sweet tooth though. Better than the salted pralines and cream shake, that's for sure. That thing was like syrup in a cup. Their fries have never been good but we made sure to get regular and criss-cut to try. The onion rings were thin, dry and terrible but the fried zucchini was actually not bad. The burgers here are still amazing though. I got the double western bacon and it was a delicious and melt in your mouth as I remember. At $40 for dinner for two I doubt we will be back any time soon but if you are craving a good burger - and nothing but a burger - it might be worth your time to stop in.

We went to this location a few weeks ago and I have to say I was very surprised that they don't have changing tables in either the men's or women's bathrooms! C'mon Carl's Jr. A chain restaurant really should have protocol for these things. I can't tell you how upsetting it is to sit on a sticky floor and change a diaper of a baby on my legs...

I just stopped by here at noon to redeem a free $5 All-Star Box voucher I had received as part of a T-mobile Tuesday promotion. It clearly said valid for redemption through December 11th on the voucher. However both the cashier and the manager denied the voucher saying "It was only valid on Tuesday (the day it was issued)" without bothering to read the terms listed on the voucher or double checking their own internal memo. I later reached out to both T-mobile and Carl's Jr via social media who reassured me that the voucher should have been redeemed and that the employees were in the wrong. Their food is actually not that bad, but this location has lost my business due to terrible customer service and refusing to honor their own promotion.

Literally the slowest service ever. Spent 30 mins in drive thru for fast food. Ridiculous. Stay away from this place. Food was also cold.

After going in twice they finally got the order correct. Would be nice if someone was in charge in the restaurant.

But the main reason for my review is because of the woman who works the early morning shift (I believe she might be the manager) at the drive thru window.

Trusting in Yelp reviews, we headed to Lodi's highly rated and popular Avenue Grill. Service was wonderful. Our server (blond lady with glasses) was friendly and chipper and had a very nice demeanor. She was on top of everything. Food came out quickly too. Seemed like the rest of the customers there were local regulars, who knew one another. Cozy, family-friendly vibez. I got the chicken fried steak with crispy potatoes. Good country gravy, seasoned potatoes, and chicken fried steak was delicious. Big portion, enough for leftovers. My husband got the steak & eggs. The steak was a little too dry and under seasoned to my husband's liking. He always orders medium-well, but it was more well. I did agree that it didn't have much flavor. But I had it the next day for leftovers and thought it was good mixed with my gravy and potatoes. So if you're looking for a good traditional breakfast diner, this is probably your spot. I don't think it was worth a drive from Sac, just because there are a lot of similar restaurants, but if you are already in the Lodi area, definitely worth a visit.

They offer brunch, lunch, and dinner with a lot of specials and themed dining nights that you have to keep up with. Brunch was okay. I think I was expecting a lot from them food-wise, but maybe that was my mistake to do so. Service was really good. Everyone was very welcoming and nice and made sure all of our needs were met. The banana chocolate chip waffles were very good. It is hard to mess up waffles, especially when you can never go wrong with banana and chocolate, and it was exactly what I wanted. I also ordered a side of sausage and you get 3 for $5. The biscuit (though not the traditional shape) was very tasty. Not dry at all and tasted just how you would want a biscuit to taste like. I probably wouldn't order the gravy again. Overall, I'm glad I stopped by to try them out, but I probably wouldn't come back for brunch. Maybe for dinner? Stay tuned!

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.

The staff understood and we got to sit on the patio under the umbrellas for shade. I ordered the BBLT; Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich, with the homemade potato salad. I'm always nervous when ordering a BLT somewhere as some places hardly give much bacon on their sandwich. Not this place however, they loaded my sandwich up with bacon and it was amazing. The potato salad was light, not over salty, or sweet. Just right, where you could season it up however your tastebuds like. We enjoyed our brunch outing and will be back next time in the area.
