The chips were cruspy, not stale or soggy, and they actually held up under everything. They put a good amount of grilled chicken, and it's not dry at all. It's seasoned, it's juicy, and there's a decent amount of it spread through the whole tray. They also didn't skimp on the cheese either. Very interesting business model here. I pull into the drive thru at 10:29am to make that last breakfast order. "What can I get you?" I hear from the intercom. 2 breakfast biscuits, please. "We stop serving breakfast at 10:30am." It just turned 10:30am. No effort or response to appease the customer. No, "let me see if we can do it." Nothing. Now, it's one thing that I've learned, even when you as the customer are absolutely right and no matter how unreasonable or how much of an idiot the people who we procure food from. Never argue with them and still try to get food. Just leave the establishment, find something else to eat, and leave a constructive review. What is really horrible at this location is the service. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone to this location and they have either messed up my order, charged me too much for my order, not offered what is advertised on Carls Jr. commercials, or told me that what is on their menu is not available at this location. The girl on the microphone, Jai, tells me the don't take orders online unless grub hub or postmates delivers. She doesn't even have an order from me at all. The yelp/Carl's jr didn't say this. First time here, and I'll make it short; as I attempted to pay with my chip based debit card, the cashier started to say that I could swipe it instead while I was attempting to insert my card in the dock for chipped cards. Then, midsentence she very purposefully muffled the rest of what she was saying. I swiped my card, got my receipt, only to find that there was a dollar surcharge. Apparently the muffled voice is part of their training program here, to upsell people with chip cards by suggesting very nonchalantly that they have the option to swipe instead, and then mumble the bit about how you're going to get charged a dollar if you do so at the tail end of their sentence.
