Whoever is the Day Manager on Sundays needs better Quality Control, or needs to be replaced. So sick of asking for NO KETCHUP at this place (or any other special request for that matter), and they continue to slap everything together (just like the picture book shows them). Please GOD tell me why these egg heads are worth $15-$20 an hour, when they cant even make a F*cking sandwich the way it was ordered. Then to top it off, the put the chunky top of the tomato (yes, the big green part where the stem comes out) on my burger as well. I NEVER post bad reviews on a single incident, because we all make mistakes, and we all have bad days. When those issues become an everyday experience, I feel this is the best way for upper management to see, that the machine is not so "well oiled". I could understand if they were overly busy, but I was the only car in line at 2 in the afternoon, with a half empty parking lot. Hopefully someone in management will see this, and make the necessary corrections. 6:9/2026. I went through the drive thru/ Oakdale and ordered the Spicy Chicken Max Sandwich for $5.99 plus tax. I'll say this, that was the nastiest soggy pile of mush I think I've ever had! I live in Oakdale so I pretty much started eating it in about 5 minutes after I left the drive thru! I took 2 bites and dumped it in the garbage can. Tried to Call Carls JR to complain and insist on my money back only to never get the call answered. I think this is a good choice for fast food in our area. Carl's Jr. always makes your order fresh, so the wait is longer than most fast food places. The customer service is great. The restaurant is very clean. The price is decent. I love the fried zucchini from Carl's Jr. If your in the mood for some cholesterol filled lunch that probably has more fat than per daily allowance this is just the right place for you. read more

Been going to Carl Jr's for years, tonight my wife had her usual Famous Star and I had the 5 piece chicken strips. Her FS was not even charbroil and it was the thinnest patty I've ever seen. My chicken strips were the size of chicken fingers, they used to be the best strips big tasty and real. Stay away from this rip off place. Strips turned into fake chicken fingers AND burger patty is small and thin. Took 2 of the best stuff at CJ and turned them into total garbage. When I want great fast food burgers I head to Carl's Jr (even though its so very expensive) Last night was such a disappointment. 1st. No one ever told us nor did the monitor show our total cost when we placed our order. 2nd. When we arrived at the window again he just repeated our order but no total cost was given. 3rd. I handed him my card and when I received the receipt they had charged me for a 24 oz lemonade that I didn't order. It took two people to figure out how to refund my money. 4th. The burgers were cold and smothered in ketchup both bottom and top. We called them cold ketchup burgers. Is this a scam and they just hope no one notices the extra charges? (who knows?) Been coming here since the 80's. It's fast food, so let's keep it real. The food is good, not always consistent, but the employees are nice and the manager will normally solve any issue you have. When i was a young man I questioned why a restaurant would hire special needs employees, now as an older man I wonder why more restaurants don't. After a long day of driving, I came through the drive-thru for my favorite burger, the Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Already on the road, I discovered that my burger and fries were both COLD. Not lukewarm, but cold. I'm guessing that they gave me an old order that wasn't claimed from an hour or more before. I ate a couple of bites, because I was starving, and just threw the rest away.
