5-Star Review - Wing It, Oakdale, CA It's always bittersweet when a great local spot makes a big change, and that's exactly how I feel about Wing It moving back to a food truck. On one hand, I'm definitely going to miss the convenience and comfort of their brick-and-mortar location -- but on the other hand, I'm genuinely happy and relieved that they're not going out of business. The wings are just too good to lose! Their flavors are bold, creative, and always cooked to perfection. Whether you like them spicy, sweet, or somewhere in between, Wing It always delivers. You can tell they care about quality and consistency, and it shows in every bite. What really makes this place special, though, is the team. The staff has always been friendly, fast, and down-to-earth -- just good people putting love into what they do. So while it's a little sad to see the restaurant close its doors, I'm excited to see them keep pushing forward with the truck. I'll definitely be following wherever they roll to next, because Wing It is still one of the best spots in Oakdale for wings and good vibes. read more

Super clean. Brand new spot in Oakdale. It's Not just Wings - They are so sneaky! They have burgers, pulled pork, and chicken sandwiches. They have mac n cheese and multiple flavors of awesome fries. There's a bar with various things on tap (I honestly didn't pay much attention) The TVs were playing all my hubby's favorite shows - the car auctions, American Ninja Warrior, and other sports/man shows. The bathroom was clean. The service was quick. The man working (sorry I didn't get the name) was pleasant and helpful with asking all my questions. The food was NOT salty - my opinion - as others mentioned previously. Subtract half a point because they have Coca-Cola products & I'm a Pepsi gal. I will give 1/4 of that same point back because they had Pibb as an option. The meat for the burger ....was so good We will definitely be back....this time to try the wings. read more

I never even knew this place existed before looking for somewhere to eat in oakdale last night! My husband and I love hot wings so we went to give them a try. The gentlemen who worked there was super nice and walked us through their meals, etc. We decided on the 16 piece and 2 fries. Let me tell you, these wings are amazing and fresh! They are crispy but still juicy! The garlic buffalo was one of my favorites of the night! The spicy lemon pepper and spicy BBQ were also amazing. We will absolutely be back! Mica served us today. He was very pleasant and helpful from helping us decide our flavor choices and attending our table. The wings were awesome. We've been here once before and had the boneless wings. We were not as impressed with those. The bone in were on special today and they tasted very fresh. We had mango jabanero, spicy lemon pepper, and buffalo. Fyi the buffalo is the spiciest of the three. This location serves beer which is a nice option. Great new wing spot finally in town. We had the hot and lemon pepper wings with Cajun fries. Everything was great. Good variety of flavors. They have a few beers on tap and bottles of others. We came on a Saturday and the owner had her daughters working. It's great being able to see the impact keeping dollars local makes. Wish them lots of luck. We will be back for sure. read more

This place is top shelf. Hands down better than any of those national chains. The menu is simple enough not to get overwhelming and delicious enough that you'll love all the flavors. My personal favorites were Buffalo, original hot, and mango habanero. The ambiance was on par with any other wing place but the service here is exceptional. By far the worst dining experience I've had in Oakdale. The wings were incredibly bland and flavorless, the chicken wrap was drenched in hot sauce that we asked not to put on, and the price was outrageous. We couldn't get past the first couple bites without giving up and calling it a loss. I didn't want to Karen out and ask for a refund but I'll never go there again. The restaurant was clean and the service was great but the food was incredibly subpar. There were no flats given just drumsticks. The buffalo sauce was fine but the Cajun seasoning was just completely salty. Same with the Cajun fries just incredibly salty. The wrap I received was poorly put together with the tortilla slightly soggy with an unimpressive amount of shredded cheese somewhere in the mix. For a 10piece combo and a wrap with fries it was around 40$. I wish I had spent my lunch anywhere else but here in all honesty considering I only ate about 40% of my meal. Such a good option to have in town. We have been here multiple times now and the food is always good. The employees are very attentive and always checking in if we need anything else. They have local beer on tap which is a nice touch to the Oakdale feel. Various TV channels playing and good country music. Significantly cheaper than Wingstop, much faster, and less mistakes. We have been to wing it two times now, two days in a row lol. Everything we have tried so far has been great. The regular fries, the lemon pepper fries, the garlic Parmesan wings, and the spicy lemon pepper cauliflower wings. Both times customer service was great and we were greeted when walking through the door. They had MLB games on and seems like a fun place to hangout. Great place, we will be back. read more

My husband and I ordered for the first time from there despite some of the reviews and turns out I should've listened to what other people said. My husband ordered 16 boneless wings and ended up getting all bone in wings which he hates. I got 10 bone in wings and unfortunately didn't notice they weren't cooked all the way until I ate one and I'm 6 months pregnant so that made both of us angry. We couldn't call for a refund or anything because they were already closed unfortunately. The only good thing was our French fries but the Cajun seasoning on my French fries single handily gave me high sodium levels I'm sure. And restaurants like this are the reason I trust Yelp reviews. Only reason they get 2 stars is because at least we could eat French fries for dinner. What a waste of $80. read more

The wings here are very delicious and the different sauces are all good. The staff here are friendly and the food doesn't take long to be ready. Plenty of seating options and I like the counter seating since you have a better view of the TVs and makes it easy to order more drinks. Was really looking forward to trying wing it after reading reviews about it but was pretty dissatisfied. First of all they gave me plain fries when I payed two dollars extra for the loaded fries, not a huge deal but slightly annoying. Second the fries that I did get had a really odd aftertaste, almost like burned oil. Now for the chicken, I ordered,the tangy orange and the lemon pepper. While the tangy orange was pleasant the lemon pepper was insanely over seasoned and it's normally the flavor I choose when eating chicken wings, never have I ever tasted lemon pepper like that it was too seasoned to eat. Now for the worst part, one piece of chicken was very pink in the middle. If it weren't for that I may have given a less harsh review but food safety shouldn't be taken lightly. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at this time but hope they improve. read more

When I was looking at the menu, they mentioned more than once that they served crispy fries! When I placed my order, I specifically asked for my fries to be made extra crispy! The gal who took my order asked if I wanted my regular & my garlic fries crispy, to which I told her more than once that I wanted extra crispy fries. Gave the place a bit of room after opening to let them work out the bugs and today was the day I decided to go it and give it a try. The Ambiance of the place is good and the location has easy access which makes it perfect for a quick stop in to grab something. Unfortunately the service was extremely slow and there were only 2 customers in line, the staff had issues working the register and could give my change till her manager showed up. I could see she was frustrated so I said just keep it. As for the food I was extremely disappointed, the chicken sandwich I got was mashed together in a rush and the the chicken was almost inedible due to being burnt and dry, thank goodness for the ranch that came with the soggy cold fries otherwise it would have been a complete waste. Maybe some more time is needed to work out the bugs. read more

So my wings weren't bad I got the original hot. However, my friend got the same thing but for some reason his wings were cold. I also got the Wagyu which I don't recommend. It was mostly fat and I couldn't really finish my plate. Definitely not worth the $50 just wanted to try it out because I love wagyu. But overall it's alright. read more
